Chicken parmigiana with ziti. It was so damn good I had to eat the first half!

I'm updating my review because Davenports has changed their dessert menu, particularly their signature chocolate cake, which used to be a standout. After 20 years of a rich, fudgy masterpiece, the new version disappoints with a gritty filling, dry cake and overly light frosting. I've tried it a few times, hoping for improvement, but it's no longer worth ordering. Just can't get on board with this new reiteration. I hope they consider bringing back the original in-house recipe. For now, I'll explore other dessert options here, though I still enjoy their signature Italian food and Caesar salads. But this? This is 100% a Disappointing change.

Yesssss.. I really like davenports! I went on a Friday night and chose outdoor seating. Very cute, had outdoor hanging lights, a band playing and singing; it was a lovely vibe. The menu may looks expensive but the plates are HUGE. Well worth the $$. I brought home alott of leftovers & spent $39 on 3 plates of yummy food! Highlyyy recommend the loaded nachos! The waitress was nice, it took a while for her to come to our table at first, but it was a busy friday night. I have been going to davenports since a child & would definitely recommend this restaurant; every meal is a good hit. Will nott be disappointed. :)

Have eaten here many times and it has been consistently very good. The atmosphere is casual, the staff is friendly yet professional. This occasion was a girl's night out. We were seated in a spacious corner booth where we could relax and talk easily. I ordered the Veggie Pizza, which was very good. I wasn't starving and knew it would be just as good reheated the following day. I wasn't wrong! The crust was perfect and topped with their own sauce, cheese, broccoli, sweet onions, fresh mushrooms, tomatoes. A friend ordered the Parmesan Ranch Chicken: two breasts coated with a crunchy Parmesan ranch crust and served with loaded mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. The others ordered from the Fall Menu: Cauliflower Fig and Arugula Pizza (Cauliflower crust topped with fig jam, mozzarella and sautéed onions, prosciutto, baby arugula and shaved parmesan) and the Cranberry Turkey Croissant (Grilled croissant with cranberry mayo, mixed greens, tomato, swiss cheese, bacon and in-house roasted turkey breast). Everything looked wonderful and all four of us were very pleased with our meals. There were several doggy bags and no room for dessert!

Great food portion for value price. Yummy burger (that I forget to take a photo because I dove in). Service was attentive and pleasant. Ambiance was nice mellow music and basic diner style. Big brother loved the stuffed clam aka The Stuffie.

This spot happens to be on my way home from the office and I'm glad I stopped in. Overall the place is small, with both table dining and bar seating. My friend and I chose to sit at the bar. Meaghan was our bartender. Friendly and informative, she really knew the menu. I got garlic teriyaki wings, my friend got a double order of plain and we shared a pepperoni, half black olive pizza. The wings were huge and juicy. The sauce was so good, and they did a great job of coating the wings in a way that they were well covered but the sauce wasn't dripping off. The pizza was better than average. I had heard it described as bar pie in the local pizza Facebook group but that isn't accurate. It's got the thickness of a Greek style pizza but not baked in a pan. The pizza sauce has a nice tang to it that I prefer. It very easy to eat. Initially I thought I would be taking some pizza home for lunch the next day but before I knew it, I had polished off the wings and 6/8 of the pizza. My only criticism of the pie is I'm a stickler for a proper half and half split and the olives were on a majority of the pie instead of only half. I finished with a Snicker inspired drink created by our bartender. It's butterscotch forward in flavor and is decidedly a dessert drink. It was a lovely sweet treat to finish the meal. What I love most about the Food Fight events is having the opportunity to discover small spots like this one. Having a place to hide away from traffic on the way home from work is clutch, so I will be back sooner rather than later. I'm looking forward to the next time I stop by!

These Tator tots that were on special with pulled pork were so good. But the biggest surprise was the cauliflower. Hands down THEE BEST fried cauliflower I've ever had in my life. Not soft and mushy but crispy great flavor and the sweet chili sauce was not over powering. The bartender was super friendly and gave us some recs as well. I would drive the hour again to this spot.

This place has been on my list for a long…read moretime and when I realized where it was I thought this would be great to check out after a busy afternoon of errands along Route 1. It's located right at the entrance of an industrial area. There is a very small lot for parking but it was completely full when we visited today, so we parked along the road where a number of other cars were also parked. This seemed to be okay and the signs just requested folks not park on the grass. The entrance is set back from the street so you kind of need to go around towards the back. We saw they had a food truck, Farm to Sandwich, which although kind of pricey, was super delicious. We both got the All American Smash burger with fries. Fries were so crisp and well crafted and the burger was amazing with a great sauce reminiscent of a Big Mac. For beers, since it was our first time here, we decided to try a bit of everything with flights. Their flights are $13 for 4, 5 oz pours. I chose the Coffee Milk Stout, You are Such an Ass, Bienvenu and Justin's Jangle. We started which the You are Such an Ass IPA, which was described as a light IPA but really didn't taste like an IPA at all. We honestly thought they had poured us the wrong beer. As IPA enthusiasts, this was disappointing. The Bienvenu, which is a Red Ale with Panela (unrefined Colombian sugar cane) was infinitely better. The Coffee Milk Stout, I understand is very popular, but I thought this was average. Justin's Jangle, a Maple Praline Porter was my favorite! Really nice, complex brew! We also really enjoyed the live music from Jake Frezza, a local musician out of North Providence. He sang and played guitar and covered a diverse sampling of songs including Brittney Spears (Toxic), James Taylor and Marvin Gaye. His version of "What's Going On" was particularly excellent. I normally dread listening to live performers at breweries but this guy is actually very talented! Kudos to Ravenous for engaging such a high quality musician! Also, for a Saturday, it was not overcrowded or over run with kids. There was just one family with a super quiet baby and we noted just one dog inside. On exiting, I saw they have a nice memorial where they offer to pour a beer to a fallen service member. Very nice! Gender neutral restrooms Pinball Separate rooms make it quieter than breweries in just one big industrial space. Friendly service at the bar and no lines! Bar stools with no back, kind of uncomfortable and there seemed to be no other seating options like chairs or sofas. In summary: Highlights: Bienvenu Red Ale Justin's Jangle Jake Frezza live music Nice memorial to fallen soldiers Low Lights: You are Such an Ass IPA Barstools/ seating Would definitely stop back here again when in the area!

Macari first worked for toy manufacturer Hasbro before launching a custom cabinetry business with another former Hasbro colleague. Today he is involved in multiple businesses. For a new venture, Macari decided to open his own brewery with Neveu, another former Hasbro employee. The partners acquired and completely renovated the circa 1872 Berkeley Mill boiler room building to house the brewery. They named it "Phantom Farms" after the Macari family's local apple orchard and bakery just down the road. Oscar Garrido and Andrea Riera, a husband-and-wife team from Chile, were hired as the head brewers. Since opening, Phantom Farms has become known for its farm-to-pint operation, its close connection to its namesake orchard, a historic taproom, and award-winning lagers. I recently visited Phantom Farms Brewing while I was in town for the day. I was scheduled to meet up with some other beer bloggers. The first thing I noticed was how beautiful the restored historic building was. There was plenty of space upstairs and downstairs, indoors and outdoors, and the brewery is also family-friendly. After exploring all of the various rooms, I looked over the draught menu. There was an eclectic mix of beer styles as well as hard cider crafted with apples from the Phantom Farms Orchard. Between mingling with the other bloggers and playing some games of Biñho, I enjoyed pours of "Half Dark" (Czech Amber Lager), "Elegant Viking" (New England IPA), "Alternate Continuum" (Barrel-Aged Saison), and "Hypernova" (Barleywine). I was very impressed with everything that I tried, especially the last two. Between an excellent roster of beers, a beautiful historic space, and some excellent company, I had a really enjoyable experience at Phantom Farms and I highly recommend them to any craft beer aficionados who are visiting the area!

I was vacillating between the hot dogs and a couple of the chicken sandwich's and ultimately selected the Cool Ranch Ray with grilled chicken, cheddar, bacon, and Ranch dressing. It was delicious! Unfortunately, the fries left something to be desired as they were fairly dried out and a bit tough to get down. Perhaps a bit less time in the fryer could have fixed that. Dessert was a nice cap to the meal with Nutella empanadas. Yum! PB & Jealous drink... divine. Our waiter Chris was moving and grooving... never seeming to stop for a second and always finding time to check in with us.
