Restaurant was full. Service was slow but decent. Food was exceptional. Grilled salmon and shrimp with buttery loaded potato and broccoli. Restaurant was expectantly noisy.

    Ribeye Side: Mac and cheese
    Karla M.

It had been a while since coming here but because I had a gift card, my friend and I came here for dinner. This location is in a plaza, so there is plenty of parking - some days it is easier than others to find a close spot. We went on a weekend, and were seated immediately. I knew I wanted a steak but soon realized I would be presented with about 8 different cuts of steak to choose from. I liked that the menu offers a brief description for each option, and because of this, I went with the ribeye; it is supposed to be their most tender and flavorful because of the marbling. I ordered it medium plus (somewhere between medium and medium well). Each steak comes with 2 sides. There are standard sides or you can choose to upgrade to premium sides for about $3 more. I chose mac and cheese (premium side) and a salad. The salad came out first which I was thankful for because I was hungry. It wasn't much and the toppings were weak, so I regretted not getting a different side with more substance. The steak came out after about 15-20 minutes. The food looked good, but after having my first bite, I was a bit disappointed. In general it wasn't bad, but for a $30 meal, I expected a bit better. The meat was a bit dry and not too flavorful, and there wasn't too much marbling. The mac and cheese was decent. I tried some of my friend's loaded baked potato, and that was the best thing on the table - I would highly recommend. Considering price and quality, I am not sure if I would come back when craving a good steak. It had been a while since coming here but because I had a gift card, my friend and I came here for dinner. Caesar salad with fresh grated Parmesan cheese
    Bre B.

Debated between lunch here and next door...decided on lunch here and so glad we did. Pick two: choices of salads and choices of soups....have to say it was a tough choice so many good combo variations! Got the Caesar salad with fresh grated Parmesan cheese (lactose intolerant) oops forgot to ask them to hold the cheese but so far no issues which means it is really good cheese! High quality! Salad was served ice cold which I love! The French onion soup, oh my God. Rich, depth of flavor in the broth. Perfect gooey cheese. Soaked bread underneath and it was loaded with onions. I'm already craving more! I'm a really good cook and French onion soup is one of my specialties. I've never found a chef that could make their soup better than mine.....until today. Kudos to you chef! I tip my bakers cap to you. Their bread, of course, is always fresh and yummy. Now the best part..... all this for $8.49 Deliciously filling and doesn't break the bank. Win-win!

Food was good. Service was friendly - just a little slow. I would return however. All of the Longhorns are consistently good to me.

Flo's small fillet with baked potato
    Matt M.

Wasn't busy when we got there but filled up quickly by the time we were served our meals. Waitress was great! Friendly, checked on us a few times and very attentive. Wife had Flo's fillet with baked potato and salad; medium and cooked perfectly. I had the porterhouse, medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. Side of a very flavorful rice and Caesar salad. Noticed a few both cushions needing replacement. I assume sagging from the volume of business and maybe age. Large parking lot but parking close to the restaurant has never happened for us. Restaurant is located in a very busy strip mall

Stopped in and ate at bar... Service took forever Ordered the Parmesan mushrooms appetizer ad I do at all Longhorns as excellent... these were dinky and 1/4 size of regular portobellos mushrooms... assume they used the ones these serve as a side with a steak... Then ordered the 9 oz fillet and baked potato, crispy Brussels sprouts ... Again Brussels sprouts 1/2 size of side I got before... looks like Biden inflation hit my mushrooms, now the Brussels sprouts, baked potato was normal size... then this dinky flat alleged 9 oz fillet was ordered med and came well down, dry and 31 bucks wasted... I'll try another Longhorn before writing them off if now serving funky size portions at high prices... Better option is their higher end owned steak restaurant the Capital Grill...

Heather is the best! Really enjoyed my filet and corn! See you again when I'm back in town!

All of our food was delicious, the employees were super friendly and helpful, and the restaurant seating area was pleasant, attractive and very clean. We ordered a pulled pork sandwich, a pastrami sandwich and a half rack of baby back ribs. Both sandwiches were excellent, but the ribs really stole the show. They were well seasoned and so tasty, but better yet, they were extra, extra tender. We got two sauces on the side - rib juice sauce and the regular bbq sauce and I especially liked all of the herbs and seasonings in the rib juice. The ribs were some of the best I've had in this part of the country and I'm very glad we went to Chub's today.

Both times, Chub's delivered in a big way. Pull up and you'll immediately spot their massive smokehouse on the side of the building, which is a converted trailer that means serious business. Parking is plentiful. Inside, the restaurant is warm, inviting, and spotlessly clean. The staff were genuinely helpful and professional on both visits, the kind of team that makes you feel like a regular even on your first stop. On the first visit I went with the Ghost Pepper Sauce on the wings. They were crispy, perfectly smoked, and surprisingly approachable heat-wise. Not a face-melter, just beautifully layered flavor. I paired them with the Sweet Pete's Pulled Pork Sandwich and Grandma's Baked Beans, and honestly? Both were fantastic. The pulled pork was tender and perfectly smoked, and those baked beans had that homestyle depth that's nearly impossible to fake. On visit two I ordered the Blue Pig Sandwich and a half pound of Brisket. The sandwich was great, but the real showstopper was the Brisket. It was super moist with a bold peppery rub that had clearly been earned through hours of patience and smoke. This is the kind of brisket that makes you go quiet mid-bite. Chub's Blue Pig BBQ is, without question, one of the best, if not the best, BBQ spots I've hit in all of New England. It's the real deal: proper smoke, serious technique, and food that genuinely delivers on its reputation. I'll absolutely be back, and I'm bringing reinforcements next time. Highly, enthusiastically recommended.

Nothing comes out hot, fresh, or remotely appetizing. And then there's the pricing, which is borderline insulting. $79 for a cup of chili, a child's wilted burger and fries, a chicken Caesar wrap and fries, a chicken parm sandwich, and two mediocre shakes. Seventy-nine dollars. For food this bad. I genuinely don't know why I kept giving this place chances, but I'm officially done. Amazing craft beer menu, but I wish there was more of a cider selection. I'm an absolute creature of habit so I typically get the same menu items but everything is amazing. I believe that between four and six you can order either Nashville or Smashburger sliders for like seven bucks and a side of hand cut fries for like five. I would suggest doing that if you want to leave room for dessert. Otherwise, the Nashville chicken sandwich is literally the best chicken Sammy you'll ever eat in your life. They offer two types of fries and they're both good but the hand cut ones are life-changing. You'll never order fries from anywhere else ever again and enjoy them. The pit craft mac & cheese is creamy, cheesy, wonderful. The Smashburger is equally amazing. Forget five guys or anywhere else really. Truly the best burger. Anything smoked (burnt ends, pulled pork, all of it, delicious. If you have room for dessert, I highly suggest the waffles.
