    Chips and Skillet Beef Queso
    Saphace A.

My friend chose this location since it's equidistant from the both of us. When I came a bit before 6pm, it wasn't busy. Tons of parking spots here. I quickly ordered a drink to get the HH deal. The berry dragonfruit marg was seasonal and it was HUGE. For $6, it was an amazing deal! Prob a bit too sweet for my liking but really tasty nonetheless. For apps, my friend and I got the chips and skillet beef queso which came with salsa too? Not sure if that's the usual? We also got the mozz sticks since the cheese pull went viral online. The cheese pull did not disappoint! My friend pulled the cheese probably about half her wingspan. The apps were both good. A lot better than I expected! I don't remember liking the salsa 15 or so years ago but the food quality seems to have improved. The menu has a lot of options. I was impressed with the selection as I didn't expect to see so many types of things to eat. The server gave us his recommendations and he mentioned the big mouth bites, which are basically sliders. They were good. Cooked smash burger style and had a crispiness to them. They're cooked almost well done which wasn't bad but coulda been dry. Overall, we enjoyed the food. I'd honestly come back. I'm glad restaurants like this are still bang for your buck and trying to revamp the menu to get customers coming back. It got busier after HH. Still not a full parking lot though. I'm really impressed with Chili's! I'll be back!

This is our first visit and was conveniently located near UL, which was our evening stop. No issue to get seated right away and we ordered drinks plus unlimited chips and salsa. My husband and I split the Triple Dipper, a large appetizer. You're given a flavor options for the items. We picked the basic: burger sliders, chicken tenders, and southern egg rolls. The avocado dipping sauce was great with the egg rolls. Our teen enjoyed the burger sliders and fries. We joined the rewards program, as recommended by our server, and we got our chips and dip for free. Nice! Looking forward to visiting the location next to us for the lunch deals.

We stopped in for a late dinner around 8 PM on a Wednesday night and were served fairly fast, although the restaurant was packed with several large groups. Noise level was moderate to loud. Our server was training a new employee who ended up being our main server and was trying her best. Food service was fine and enjoyed the chipotle bowl with crispy tortilla strips, corn, salsa, sour cream, etc. Prices are reasonable. Restrooms were fairly well maintained.

Our server managed our large group of several teenagers and splitting checks very well. This is a very convenient location, even though traffic can get a little backed up around this area. Chili's tortilla chips are hands down some of the best around!

Quick spot before a flight. It's fine... what you would expect. Got the triple dipper, sucks that you can't choose your options but it was good

We stopped at Chilis for lunch. We were seated very quickly. Our server was Thomas. He was a great server. Keep checking on us to see if we needed anything. We ordered the Big Q P burger potato soup, fries chips and salsa. The burger was delicious, fries where just ok. Soup was just ok also. The restaurant looked very clean and there is plenty of parking.

The tables he said we couldn't sit at but then decided to sit us there anyway..

I'm extremely disappointed with the way we were treated by the manager during our recent visit. The customer service was unprofessional, rude, and honestly petty. I called ahead at 5:00 PM to give a heads up that we would be coming in with a larger party. When we arrived around 6:20 PM, we were told the wait would be 1 to 1.5 hours, which we understood and were willing to wait. After waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes, I checked back in for an update and was told it would be another 30 minutes. During that conversation, the manager also made a comment telling me not to bring my large party anyway, which was unnecessary and inappropriate. While waiting, I noticed four tables next to each other that were unoccupied. We were first in the queue to be seated, so I asked if we could sit at those tables separately. I had also mentioned earlier that splitting up was completely fine for our group. The manager said no. When I asked why, he said "because they have a plan." When I asked what the plan was, he refused to explain and instead continued arguing with me. Less than 10 minutes later, we were seated at the exact tables I had asked about -- the same ones he told us we couldn't have. Once we were seated, the manager was seen talking and pointing at our table, which felt incredibly unprofessional. He also made a point to check on every other table in the area but never once came to ours to see if everything was okay. It felt intentional and petty. The only positive part of our visit was our server, who was absolutely amazing and did a fantastic job despite the uncomfortable situation created by management. Very disappointing experience overall.

Thomas was fast and friendlyabd very attentive not only to our table but all tables around us. The salsa and chips are always on point . You cannot beat the lunch specials and prices. Lots of variety. Unfortunately it was lunch so I couldn't try the shark attack margarita but it sure looked good . There were quite a few " ladies who lunch " groups hanging out as well . Plenty of parking and no wait for tables . They also have a rewards program that always offers free chips and salsa.

Ordered takeout and got a trio sampler & chips & queso. Everything was hot and ready to go. Food was as expected, good. The mini burgers were bland however the honey chipotle chicken tenders were beyond good. That sauce is amazing for people who like sweet n spicy. I would come back for their honey chipotle chicken, whether it be wings or tenders!

me and my date went there expecting horrible food and bad customer service but when we got there the main server was extremely nice (they were wearing a questionable uniform) our only issue was the waiter he said his name was "the grouch" and he served me bone in wings when i asked for boneless he also did strange things to the sausages..... NONETHELESS still a great eat minus the horrible stench from the grouch

We had high hopes based on Eagle Louisville's stellar Yelp score. But we walked away disappointed…read morebecause of a major service lapse, curious food seasonings and discrepancies between menu descriptions and actual dishes. We arrived mid-afternoon on a Friday. We had a choice between sitting inside or being seated at a picnic table on the covered deck. We were assigned a high-top table in the dining area past the bar, where a few guys were watching a soccer match. The brine-soaked fried chicken is Eagle's specialty, so we ordered it. I thought the chicken was good,. So per the menu for the three-piece fried chicken meal, you can only order either all white meat or all dark meat. Interestingly, the two people at our table that ordered white meat still got a drumstick with their meat. The last I checked, drumsticks were considered dark meat. For an appetizer, we ordered the hush puppies. They had a nice crunchy texture but were very spicy hot. We also ordered the spoonbread. This was my favorite dish of the day. It was served warm, had a great texture and a light maple flavor. With our meals, we could get two sides. We requested the collard greens, green beans, fries, grits and mac & cheese. Only the mac & cheese was good. The collard greens were way salty and the green beans had odd and unexpected seasonings. Our dining companion was put out, and understandably so, that the menu said the grits came with white cheddar cheese. But instead, though the grits maybe had cheese, they were also loaded with loads of diced jalapeno. They were so over the top spicy, none of us could eat the grits. The fries were strongly seasoned with oregano. WTF? Our entrees came with biscuits. The biscuits were tasty, but unfortunately, because they contained too much shortening, fell apart when buttering them. And that leads up to the service lapse. After we received our check, our server completely disappeared. We waited a half hour for her to re-appear, gave up and asked another server to cash us out. He disappeared and we waited some more. Finally the red-headed server re-appeared and breezily explained she had been out on the deck the whole time. No apology or anything.

Nice kick, cooled off by the crab and avocado. Great crunch, as well! The sleeper win was the cheesesteak. I went with chicken, which I rarely do. At first bite, I was a little confused, because the flavor isn't the Philly style I'm used to. I realized there were bits of bacon (says that on the menu-whoops), but it didn't over power the flavor, it add almost a sweet smokiness. And their beer cheese? SO GOOD.

Everything seemed to happen effortlessly, which is a rare quality in a restaurant and one that made the entire evening feel special. My wife and I were celebrating her birthday, and we couldn't have picked a better place. I ordered the pork, and she had the filet. I don't say this lightly, but the pork was probably the best I've ever had. Every bite felt intentional, and it was the kind of meal you find yourself thinking about when eating similar dishes in the future. And then there was the Old Fashioned. I've lived in Kentucky long enough to have had my fair share of great ones, and this one easily makes my top three of all time. A little slice of Louisville history, exceptional food and drinks, and some of the best vibes in the city. 12/10.

Restaurant was fully booked for the night but I was told bar seating was first-come-first-served…read moreand there were spots available so I arrived. Two spaces left. Seats were spaced unusually close together but I enjoyed the atmosphere, noisy and dark, the walls covered almost entirely with photos and memorabilia from the original 1933 Jack Fry's that this newer restaurant honors. From the website, "Fry was known as a rambling, gambling kind of guy who loved amateur boxing and horse racing." I'm not much of a talker with strangers but the close spacing led to conversation, the woman to my right giving me suggestions on what to order and the man to my left things to see and do in Louisville and beyond. Complimentary bread was provided. Two kinds: a sourdough and the other one a little sweet. The butter was whipped and shaped into an attractive rosette. I don't like butter but both breads were very good on their own. I started with an appetizer of escargot, served in the standard 6-welled plate. With very garlicky melted butter, and broiled parmesan sparingly on the top. The small croutons under each snail made this relatively small dish more substantial. And it also came with more sourdough bread, toasted this time so it was even better. My entree was Pork Tenderloin. The menu explains "Pan-seared Berkshire tenderloin, baby cauliflower, swiss chard, toasted couscous, and cherry tomatoes over a wild ramp aioli, tangerine oil, and sherry gastrique topped with crispy shallots." Wow; that's quite a description! And it was quite a dish, the pork tender and all the ingredients working really well together. I researched "Berkshire tenderloin" and learned it is a "premium, boneless cut of pork from the heritage Berkshire pig. Often called the Kobe beef of pork." The portion size was quite reasonable. I had no leftovers but neither did I finish it still wanting more. Dessert was Banoffee Pie: sliced bananas, soft hazelnut toffee, Biscoff cookie crust, whipped crème fraiche. Much better than any of the ones I tried in Ireland where I first discovered this decadent dessert. More refined and pie-like than those which were more like a trifle. I really liked the hazelnut toffee topping, which was crunchy, not soft as described. Drinks were excellent too. The Manhattan was different from what I'm used to. I detected vanilla so I asked my bartender/waitress. Yes, Giffard Vanilla liqueur she said. I reread the menu and it said "Bulleit rye, Mellett Amaro, Giffard Vanilla, black walnut bitters, Luxardo cherries. I had a second, Jack's Old Fashioned: "Benchmark Bonded Bourbon [Buffalo Trace], muddled Luxardo cherry and orange, demerara syrup, Angostura Bitters." This did not disappoint either. But a second drink may have been a mistake. These were strong! So I had to walk for over 90 minutes before I felt it was appropriate to drive. But I was a tourist and there was plenty to see in the area and it was an enjoyable walk and I could work off some of this relatively large and excellent meal.
