I would give this place no stars if I could. This is our usually Thursday night spot, but after the decline in service, we will NOT be coming back. We waited 10 minutes before anyone came to our table. Our server forgot our app and messed up my order. Then charged me to fix it. When receiving our food, it was thrown on the table. To the point sauces were spilling on the table. Food is good for corporate food. She apologize for being busy when she only had us for a table. There is no one sitting even near us. Their drink tax is a ***** at $2.79 for sweet tea it's the highest in the city. We have not been to Chili's for a while but today our grandson wanted to go there after church. We are glad we went. I had the Mexican chicken on the $10 appetizer/drink/entrée deal which was super moist and just delicious. My husband had Chipotle Chicken Tex-Mex bowl. Our waitress was super. One of our favorite places to eat. They have great appetizers. We especially like the chips and salsa and queso. I get the fajitas, quesadillas and burgers a lot. Their 2 for 20 menu is great. We went there last night for supper. The waitress was the same as always - lousy with no personality. My daughter's chicken came out soggy; not crispy as all. They took it off the bill and the manager gave us coupons to go back on. This was very nice but it does not really make up for bad service. The country fried steak has changed. No. No. No. We decided to try Chillis tonight on a whim and after about 15 minutes we already regretted it. We went on a Wednesday night, they weren't very busy at all but yet our server came to our table maybe 3 times. And every time she did come she had forgotten what we had previously asked for. We waited 20 minutes just to get some drinks brought to our table and then another 30 for our appetizer. (Which was the only decent tasting food of the entire meal). I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta and my fiancé ordered the New taco meal they have. He got the ranchero chicken, the fish and the shrimp. The only one that was even remotely good was the chicken and he still couldn't eat the whole thing. He only took one bite out of the other two and I took one bit out of each, only to agree with him that they were disgusting. Our server never asked if we liked our food once, she never asked why his plate wasn't eaten and why mine was barely touched. He ordered a cocktail with the appetizer and never received it. He finally had to remind her and then just had her take if off the check. We may have given it another try had the service not been so terrible. Never again. read more

My husband and I have been patrons if this chills for several years. Safely the service has declined denaturalization since the addition of at table screens. The servers are either over worked or do not feel responsible for serving since you can do a lot on the screens. The other and more serious concern is the sharp decline in food quality. The chips we ordered at tonight's meal were inedible due to copious amounts of salt. Even when we requested replacement the ones we got were also WAY too salty. If my husband is saying they are too salty it's got to be really bad. The steak I ordered, was the lowest quality piece of meat I have ever been served. It was not over cooked but the "steak" was so bad it wasn't even red, seriously the meat was white, not sure how that's even possible but it shouldn't be on a med-rare steak. I won't rant further but leave it that we will not be returning, this is the first time that everything we got was inedible. read more

This was the worst Chili's I have ever visited. I have travelled all across this country and visited a ton of these restaurants. Trust me...this one sucks! This was our first experience at the Mooresville Chilis and will for sure be our last. While we realize that is was a Friday night, the service was God-awful. The host was polite and sat us promptly, and then we waited for about 7 minutes before even being greeted. When our server finally arrived to greet us, she was playing with her hair and mounds of receipt paper in her apron and failed to introduce herself or her service partner. I did not know her name for my entire visit. After waiting ten minutes for drinks, the server popped by several times to say, "I'll be right back." She finally took our order, and it took a full 20 minutes to receive our chips. The chips arrived at the same time as our Texas Cheese Fries (unacceptable). The server proceeded to drop the plates and food onto the table and ran back to our table to throw singular, unwrapped silverware at us. By this time all of our cups were empty, and the waitress claimed she'd be back with refills, which never arrived. I also had to go to the bar in order to get a straw, after asking two separate servers and never getting one. Fifteen minutes later different servers showed up with our food, which was not completely what we ordered. When the refills finally came by, the server did not ask how the food was, she just walked away. The manager Jared did stop by and was very polite and helpful in correcting our food order. The food was great. We waited about forty-five minutes to see our server again. She then failed to give us boxes, refills and option for dessert, in a timely fashion.
