So let's get this straight my four star review is based on the lovely girl Madison that was behind the bar. We stopped here in Mayberry as we're passing through heading north.. truth is we couldn't find a place with a bar to have something to eat in a couple of drinks so we ended up here at Chili's a place we never really would think to stop, but unfortunately, the only gig in town . It ended up to be the best night we had Madison was awesome and our new Mayberry friend Justin, who we met is such a sweetheart and we wish him well.. as far as the food we had the fajitas and it is what it is was not awesome. read more

We frequent here quite a bit, and to say we are never truly disappointed is an understatement! The service is almost always top tier, the food this trip was not only delicious but came out fresh, and in a timely manner. Our server was soo kind and attentive even to our little girl by bringing out her food first so she could eat before we got our meal. And although I did not get a before picture. My son and I stopped at this Chili's to have lunch. We were seated right away and our server quickly came over to take our drink order while we looked over the menu. We decided to get appetizer's. I got chips along with cheese queso, guacamole and salsa. My son got the southwestern egg rolls. Our food was great and our waiter took great care of us. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean. We were greeted promptly and sat promptly. We were there for Lunch on a Thursday around noon. We ordered the lunch special and the 3 for me options. The chili (no pictured) had way too much chili powder in it, but was okay. Would have been better with some sour cream The house salad was good but the bowl was too little to cut up the large veggies in it so it was difficult to eat. The fries were good. The burger was good and made well. The chicken sandwich was disappointing because it was pretty bland, but it was good overall. Our server was very nice and helpful. The table had dried up corn on it and a dead fly so definitely could have used some attention prior to seating us. 3/5 overall read more

We sat down at about 1:15ish right after the church rush was leaving. And placed an order around 1:30. We did not get our food until around 2:15, asked to have our food in a To go box due to us having to leave. We also asked for a discount since the food too so long to come out. The manager said that she would take our drinks and chips off of the receipt. She then brings out a non itemized receipt with the same total that it was before she said the chips and drinks would be taken off. To the server we had no issues but the manager needs to work on her people skills and not lie about something she said she is going to do. The manager also said that we placed our order in 25 mins ago when we asked about it and acted if that was a normal wait time which I highly disagree with! read more

Wow. I was so looking forward to visiting Chili's today since it's been a while since we dined there. Many years ago it was one of our favorite restaurants due to some amazing menu items that are sadly no longer offered. We arrived around 1p so although the lunch rush was over the parking lot was pretty full. Once inside we didn't see but a few tables still occupied so all of the cars became a mystery. There was no hostess on duty so after waiting a few minutes and having 6 more folks coming in behind us m, I walked to the back, found an employee and asked if we could seat ourselves. She said she would get someone to help us. After another few minutes, someone came to the front and seated us. My husband said, "not a good first sign". After a few more minutes our waitress showed up all happy and bubbly. My husband said, "things are looking up ". We ordered our food and when it arrived it looked good. I ordered the loaded baked potato soup and my husband ordered a burger with Mac and cheese. My soup wasn't hot so I sat it aside. I tried my husband's Mac and cheese. It wasn't hot either just very gooey. My husband was almost finished with his meal before the waitress returned to check on us. When she asked about the food I asked if they could please heat up the soup. I appreciated the fact that she brought out another fresh bowl...this time steaming hot. I struggle to understand why a restaurant is unable to serve food while it's still hot... especially when the waitress only has 2 other tables to service. Needless to say, the experience we had was one that will not encourage us to return in the foreseeable future. Very disappointing. read more

I had always considered Chili's to be a dependable establishment. I no longer do. My wife and I arrived on a Saturday evening, and, it was busy. But, we were seated promptly and ordered our drinks. The drinks arrived, and, a short time later, our order was taken. We ordered the "3 for Me" special, with a beverage, starter item, and entrée for each of us. I chose a side salad as my starter item. My wife opted for the loaded potato soup. We also chose nachos, as an appetizer. Then, the wait began. I understand that they were "busy." What neither I nor my wife can understand is how the table adjacent to us -- with husband, wife, and kids -- received their salads before us while I sat, still waiting for my salad. The adjacent table even received a child's macaroni and cheese dish, while my wife and I sat, seemingly forgotten. My wife finally got the attention of a passing waitress (not our server), and asked why I was still waiting on my salad while the adjacent table -- which had arrived after us -- had theirs. This waitress (not our server) immediately brought me a salad. I had ordered one with extra ranch dressing, and onions. This was a standard side salad with only one portion of dressing. My wife still had not seen any hint of her soup. And, there was no sign of our nachos which -- as an appetizer -- should have preceeded our salad and soup. We made the decision to leave. Then, our server showed up with the nachos. We explained that we wete cancelling the order, but would pay for our beers and my salad. I only drank of my beer -- I was saving it to enjoy with the nachos and my meal. I only ate 1/2 the salad. I wasn't hungry, any more. Neither was my wife. By the way, she never got her soup. We paid and left, disgusted. Hopefully, if you choose to go there, you will get better service than we did. We will not return. read more

Staying at the Hampton right next door to this Chili's. Was looking for a decent meal to grab quick and bring back to the room. This is what I got for $12. Cold, sloppy, barely anything to it. Visited on Friday, May 28 for lunch. Limited staff. Although tables were available we had to wait 15 minutes to ensure not double seating of the servers. Two more people came in after us and also were asked if they would wait. The restaurant is LOUD. The servers behind our table were putting together a table of 10 and rather than picking up the table and chairs they were scraping them across the floor making for a extra annoyance with the already loud music. You can barely hear the people seated with you at a table. Our server was great despite being in the weeds since two people did not show for work today. The 3 star score is not to reflect his work ethic or service. I do take into account and give a lot of leniency with the lack of staff in 2021z. But I'm sitting here writing this review while being at the restaurant for 90 minutes without a refill or lunch entree. Thankfully my two nephews who are starving have their food and refill and it's been another 10 minutes without ours. When a restaurant is this SLOOOW with service from the kitchen and drink refills or picking up dirty soup and salad bowls, the manager should be making rounds to assist his staff. Perhaps the manager was in the kitchen??? We never saw one rotating through the restaurant or trying to assist to improve the dining experience. Other negatives today: *LOUD music if I wanted to be in a nightclub or concert then I would go to one. *Chips were stale today. Disappointed because I LOVE the chips & salsa at Chili's and was soooo looking forward to it. *Order of sides for nephew was wrong from the kitchen. Could not be fixed for 20 minutes because our server was in the weeds. *Timing of food was 15 minutes and 22 minutes and 24 minutes apart for the entrees at our table. We decided to go with chilis for dinner tonight for take out. I tried the wings which I got from the it's just wings website. Wings were good, they could have used more sauce but they were cooked well. Curly fries were great, similar to arbys. My wife got soup and street corn. Have eaten at this location twice. The first time was great service and great food. This time however the service was subpar. The server brought the wrong items and or wrong plates. There were items that never arrived even after reminding the server. Never came back to check our drinks. Just not sure what was going on tonight. Update: Recent visit: Our server Savanna was very professional and attentive. Our drinks were kept topped off and she checked on us several times to insure the food and service was right. Wait time was nothing at 4ish on a Saturday afternoon. Food was presented neatly and appetizing. The dinning area was clean and neat. The bathrooms were clean and well supplied. The food was very good, hot and fresh. A very different experience from my last visit. I would have to visit again to insure the experience is consistent before I would really recommend. So, my family and I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened, lots of birthday parties, late night dinners, lunches with family from out of town, and evenings at the bar watching a game and making friends, but I feel like my last experience there really summarized all my past experiences there really well. The atmosphere of this place is like most others in the chain from what I've experienced. It's usually clean, it can stay packed on busy nights even late at night, and it can definitely get loud being a go-to for families and sports fans in the area. I also really love that during hockey season, if we come in to watch a match, they get the channel changed quickly and the TVs actually have subtitles unlike some other places in town. From my latest experience, even though they were fairly crowded, we got seated quickly, drinks out within three minutes, chips out and food order taken within six minutes of being seated, it took about sixteen minutes for food to come out, and we got our ticket within four minutes of asking for it. So the service is usually fairly quick, though once we got our food the waitress didn't check in to refill drinks nearly enough. I went to the bar because I wanted a drink recommendation and our waitress hadn't stopped by in a while, and it took the bar tender three minutes to show up. When I asked if there was a summer drink menu because we all wanted drinks at our table and tried to ask for a recommendation, I was handed the standard menu and he disappeared in the back again. Our waitress and hostess were both perfectly friendly and professional, but the bartender flat out ignoring me and then throwing a menu at me before leaving was some of the worst bar service I've had in a while. Also, don't expect to see a manager unless you specifically request them even if you're having extremely long wait times or problems with the food and drinks being served. The only part of our meal that we didn't really enjoy our last visit was the chips and salsa, the chips came out soggy, chewy, cold, and flavorless and the salsa was watery even for Chili's. It seems like more often than not for my family at least one thing is wrong with our food each time we come here, and it's usually something like the chips where it should have been obvious it didn't need to be served. As for my overall recommendations for this location, for appetizers, skip the Awesome Blossom Petals, Fried Pickles, and Crispy Cheddar Bites, but otherwise most of the others are enjoyable. For entrees, be warned their chicken is really hit or miss and it can be different depending on the day you order it, order extra sauce with the Cajun Pasta because they sometimes skimp on it, and for dessert ask for the ice cream on the side with your skillet cookie so it doesn't melt immediately. For vegetarians, check out their black bean burger, have them make a veggie quesadilla if you want something different on the lunch menu (my favorite is onion, bell pepper, jalapeno, and pineapple), and if you don't want a full size specialty salad ask for the house salad to be 'dressed' like the salad of your choice (just explain you don't want the full size salad). I have never been a fan of this location's bar, but my last visit made me really consider ever getting another drink here. We decided to try the mango margarita, and the drink came out quickly but was made terribly. We ordered the drink with 1800 Gold tequila, and we could not discern if they had used it at all when we tasted it because it was so overwhelmingly sweet because of how much mix they used. The bartender used a tall cocktail glass instead of the margarita glass they usually use, which I wouldn't mind, but all of the alcohol was sitting in the bottom of the glass and all we could taste was the nasty sugary mix they use. After we sent the margarita back I contemplated getting a beer instead, but after seeing draft beer being brought out with no head on top I decided against it.I recommend going for a bottled beer or wine if you really want a drink with dinner here, especially if it's really busy. Overall, it's the best place in town to watch sports, it stays open longer than 10 pm unlike almost everywhere else in town, it usually has a lively atmosphere, and though the food and drinks can be hit or miss, problems usually get fixed in a timely manner. If you're looking for a restaurant to be able to unwind and talk with your friends, kick back and get good drinks, or hang at bar with people under thirty, this probably isn't the place for you, but otherwise it's worth checking out. read more

Their are now 7 parties waiting to be seated at 12:10 due to staffing issues. Not a very good business structure to be so short staffed on a Sunday afternoon. read more

Overall terrible situation. There was an un aceptable amount of flies in the restaurant. Our order took an hour to arrive (something about a glitch in the system) then once we got the food. I noticed the broccoli was old and had a bug or larva on it which is a health concern. When the waitress took it away, I was further horrified by the fact that there was a hair in my cup of black beans! The worst part was the perceived indifference and lack of accountability from the management. We certainly lost our appetites and won't be eating there. read more

I picked up a To Go order. Everything was package nicely and the meals were still hot once we arrived home. Even though they discontinued the 2 for $25.00, their 3 for ME averages about the same price for two meals and they added a few more options in the 3 for ME. Ky was my To Go person. He was very, very nice and I appreciate customer service like that. Hard to find anyone who is friendly and provides good customer service! We come here all the time during lunch. The food is always fresh and the staff is always very attentive. We always start off with the free chips and salsa that is a perk of being a rewards member so if you are not a rewards member I recommend you signing up. They have the most wonderful tasting potato soup with bacon bits on top and scallions. We usually have no issue getting in and out in an hour. If you go ask for krista she is such a great waitress!
