This review is based on dining in the bar. On a Sunday evening we sat at the bar. Lucky for us, Sundays are all day Happy Hour! We took advantage of the beer, and of the margarita of the month to begin. Our server was the bartender, who, despite it being a Sunday evening, was rather busy. Our Big Mouth Burgers were very filling. The burgers were thicker than we expected and were juicy. The Quesadilla Explosion Crisper Salad had a bite to it. It left a burn in my mouth with each bite. I really enjoyed that. It was quite unexpected. The quesadilla pieces were cheesy and had a burn too. The monthly margarita was The Witch's Brew. Always a busy, but fun atmosphere that works for the whole family. Waitor was super nice and did a great job taking care of us. Food was good and affordable. They are able to accommodate a gluten free allergy, with their separate, gluten free menu. I ordered online, two bowls of enchilada soup to take to a friend that just had surgery, it comes with cheese and tortilla strips on top. The bowls were barely 8oz and they had put the chips and cheese in the container, so when I opened it to eat it , the chips and cheese were gooey and gross. Ok, I've been stopping here for a while now to check on consistency of food and drink. I've had a couple issues in that past that needed a manager to advise. Thursday night I stopped in and decided to order a margarita, a house salad, the rib eye steak with broccoli and smashed potatoes. Also I ordered a slice of cheesecake to go. To start with my margarita was rimmed with a heavy coating of salt making it extremely salty. I cafefuly wiped off as much salt as possible but the drink was really bad. Clearly I'm not a salt person. Next I start on my house salad. It was a nice little salad with tomatoes, cucumber, crouton and iceberg lettuce. I put my blue cheese dressing on, mixed it around and noticed that the salad and dressing were wet. I don't mean wet with dressing either. I mean that there was too much water left on this lettuce causing my dressing to be thinned down and lose flavor. I could NEVER complain about the smashed potatoes that have cheese, bacon and fresh green onion so I won't! They have an amazign flavor to their broccoli with i love! So no complaints there either. BUT my steak is another matter. The 1st thing I said to the waitress when I got my plate was "boy that ribeye looks really thin tonight." She replied " thats what everyone's been saying" So I go to cut into it and hit big fat and gristle. Now I'm no steak aficionado but I'm pretty certain that ribeye shouldn't be gristlely. I cut another piece and it was the same. At this point I asked to get a box to go seeing as my drink, my salad and steak were not making me happy. I wrapped up everything, bagged it up, paid and split. I decided to dissect the steak a bit more at home and concluded that this ribeye was not a ribeye at all but what appeared to be a pounded piece of either cheap sirloin or tenderized flank... but NOT ribeye!! Now if the cook ran out of ribeye and offered a different cut that would be 1 thing but to switch it out and say nothing...NOT COOL!! If they had a sub cook that doesn't know their cuts of beef, well thats an internal problem that should be addressed. But I was very disappointed because of the amounts of fat, gristle and the toughness of the meat. I can honestly say that the cheesecake was as good as it always is and I'm thankful for having the broccoli and potatoes for my meal. I hope this was a fluke! I'm curious, if everybody noticed that their ribeye didn't look right didn't anybody else notice that the cut was wrong and texture was really wrong?? Just wondering!! Never in my life have I been a fan of Chili's . We've visited many in different states and I've always left regretting it. Food had been mediocre and service bad. That all changed today at this location. From the moment we walked in everything was great. We had came from swimming at the lake and we're starving. Our server was wonderful and had our drink refills before we even finished our others..our appetizers came out quick and got and were so good. I ordered a California club. So much Turkey, the flavor was awesome and great portions. My kids all had chicken crispers and fries. They liked them only said there was too much food and couldn't finish. My husband had fajitas with so much meat. Typically at the Chili's in AZ you're lucky if you get enough it's mostly onion and he ends up hardly eating. Glad we gave it a try. So it's a Wednesday afternoon 3 in the afternoon and there wasn't that many customers sat probably 8/9 tables from what I counted. My fiance and I stood there for 5/6 mins(cool whatever) I even looked around for a waiter/waitress because I just wanted to eat and sit down with my headache I had. The bartender lady (can't recall her name) was too busy flirting g with all of her older customers. She's too damn grown and was wearing pigtails, cool whatever but had no sense to stop flirting and snorting like a pig every sentence she spoke. It was like watching a real time Kamala Harris rally. Turned out she became our server/ waitress after we got sat by the waiter who came out the back of the restaurant to check on his tables(he's a good person I've had him before sweet waiter). So this pig snorting old man flirting too damn grown pig tail wearing lady finally ask for our drinks after another 5-10 mins of waiting there at our table. (My headache is getting worse with all the snorting and flirting she does). Mins later we get our drink, 10-15 mins later she comes back and orders our food, I go first and I kindly ask after being annoyed since I walked in that I would like to have " the steak fajitas with no sour cream, no black beans and i also would like 5 chicken crispers with the buffalo sauce" she gets the first order down and then double checks on what I said for the chicken crispers part(no problem with this what so ever I tend to talk fast) and she leans in after double checking with me 2 feet or maybe 1 & half feet from my face with a big smile making me cringe out and unfortunately very uncomfortable for a stranger getting this close to me and this women goes "YoU KNoW tHaT is a LOt of FoOd right, like you sure YOu CaN eat aLL of THat?!?!" And I became fluttered on what the actual F she just said and my fiance looked at me and then her and then back at me again like "wtf did she just say" (mind you I'm tall and skinny so unfortunately I get these comments a lot when I order large amount of food and have a medical problem that makes me not able to gain weight the best and I'm currently expecting our first child, I did not want to tell a stranger I'm pregnant or have to write this review but it needs to be said) so I snapped back and laughed and said "well actually I'm pregnant and I need to eat more food because my baby disagrees with what I'm about to eat for it" and she then proceeded to laugh and snort and go "omg I remember 38 years ago when I was pregnant with my son" (proceeds with a story IDGAF about as I'm in my first trimester and my mood swings are not the best but I keep on an awkward smile while I sit there saying "idgaf, stfu" repeat in my head. I had to deal with the snorting and laughing for a good hour and a half, the slowest service ever dealt with at this chilis location and I've been here a number of times and NEVER HAD A PROBLEM!!! So anyways if you want to be shamed for your body and what you order GO TO CHILIS and find the too damn grown lady that snorts like a pig and laughs like Kamala Harris at everything she says even though nothing is f'ing funny and see as she flirts with the retirement home at the bar then you found your place! Came in and servers saw us but no one came to get us a table so we sat ourselves. I was told upon inquiring there was only one server for the main side as bar was full and they were needed there. Ordered drinks and got the three for meals. Caesar's salad was old limp lettuce wenches in dressing. No crispy pieces other than croutons. Three ship chips had good guacamole but queso was gross with large skin of burnt queso hanging both in and out of bowl. Carne asada meal was overcooked and real tough about a third was crisp and burnt. Rice was dry like it had been sitting all day. Overall this meal was a waste of money. The hostess seated us at a table after our request for a booth stating the wait staff wasn't waiting that area of booths, at least 5 were open and they were less than 6 feet away. When the waitress shows up my 5 year old daughter asked for an orange juice and the waitress says to us they are saving the orange juice for the bar. I was astonished.... How much mixed drink profit will my 5 year old cost ya?? I have had it, y'all are always out of the foods that are on the menu or simply don't sell the foods that are listed. I took my children to have a Sunday lunch. Arrived about 1230 with a wait. Seated at 12:55 took forever to get anything. After we were seated for an hour and a half food for most of us came out. Ten minutes later the rest. The burgers were dry over cooked and had no seasoning. My sons bbq wings were terrible. I had a 3 meat combo with ribs brisket and bbq chicken. Ribs were dry and hard could not eat. Chicken was weird and spongy no idea how else to explain it. Brisket was dry but was the only edible food on my plate. Even my daughter wouldn't eat her kids meal cheese pizza. Waiter apologized and the manager gave an 18 dollar refund on our inedible 80 dollar bill. Manager never even came to the table or anything. The waiter says they can't find workers is why everything is so messed up. Terrible experience that waited 3 hours of our day. read more

When we arrived we were sat in the middle of the restaurant, next to a screaming baby, and a full table with several loud customers. We kindly asked if we could move to an empty booth that was open when we walked in. The host asked the waitress why we were moving. He seemed annoyed because he had to wipe the table off. The waitress came by and took our drink orders. Several minutes later she came and took our food orders. We ordered nachos, soup, and salad which took over 30 minutes to come out. She was waiting on a table with a bunch of her friends who apparently also worked at this location. They kept going in and out of the kitchen with her giggling and laughing loudly. They also had a dog under the table that did not have anything identifying it as a service animal. I looked over and the waitress was feeding the dog with her hands and then going to the kitchen and serving people. The dog was also drinking water out of a serving bowl from the restaurant. The dog spilled the water all over the floor and no one cleaned it up. In my opinion this is a violation of health codes. The restaurant had trash all over the floor and she never offered to take our dirty dishes. We had horrible service and the restaurant is not up to health standards. My family and I are visiting from out of town and have never experienced service like this at Chili's. read more

It's a Chili's. I use coupons frequently (ones from email/Facebook and the one on my Foursquare app) and have never had a problem. The servers are friendly, whether dine-in or carry out. The food is typical. Nothing outstanding but not bad. I generally order a salad, burger, sandwich or chicken crispers. I've had a few times when my order has been messed up on carry-out but after a phone call they mail me vouchers or replace the meal. It gets busy at peak times - evenings, lunch hour - so if you're on a schedule I would get carry out or make different arrangements. read more
