Our children got there food that's good but still waiting for our right now as I'm writing this review!!! We like to sit in the bar have a cocktail with lunch or dinner and we find that everybody there is extremely friendly the food is very good everything is reasonably priced. Nice restaurant. Food was really good, as always, no matter what state you eat at a Chili's. Chicken Mexican bowl and chicken soup were very good! Steaks are always seasoned great. Ordered med rare, but definitely rare. The grilled shrimp were very tasty. We had the chips and salsa. Server suggested more chips and salsa, never came. Food came out. No soup. The food runner brought the soup. We were still eating and of course the server is ready to turn the table and she's already to discuss how to pay on the machine. My lunch order came with dessert which I had to remind her of that too. You just don't like to keep reminding a server about her job. All servers were carrying 1 drink here and 1 thing there. They could all accomplish way more if they had full hands in and full hands out! The food runners were awesome! We had a couple of wrong charges on the machine receipt so had to fix that. Server was as friendly as can be but that sometimes dosen't help spotty service. Will be back because it is good food and a lot of options. read more

It's a typical Chili's. I've always had a good meal and the staff has always been friendly every time I've been there.

My friend asked the waitress if the Country Fried Steak could be ordered as "Chicken Fried Chicken" and described for her using a chicken breast instead of steak meat in the dish. She checked with the kitchen and they said yes it could even though it wasn't on the menu. It came out as Steak! Had to wait 15 minutes for the order to be redone. I ordered a rib eye (clearly stated on the order written by the waitress). It came out as a sirloin! The manager came to the table and said that the Country Fried Steak mixup was the waitress' problem (which it wasn't) and that she'd mark the price down on my ticket and I could EAT THE SIRLOIN instead of a rib eye! After a few tense moments she decided to give us both meals for free (never did get my rib eye), but we'd have to pay for the one beer that I'd ordered. The manager needs some training in customer relations. A LOT of training. We are never going back to this Chili's again...EVER. read more

I have never been satisfied with my meal at Chili's of Mountain Home, and I've been here many times since it opened (I return because many friends/family dinners end up here... not by my choice) I have ordered burgers many times, always asking for a black bean burger to be substituted for a beef burger. It has only arrived the correct way one time... and by the time the correct order was brought to the table, my family/friends had all already finished their meals. I have had one waiter and one waitress mention to my table that they didn't like their jobs, which was awkward. The few times that I ordered soup, I did so while asking to omit the bacon garnish. It arrived with bacon every time. (I am a vegetarian, so "no bacon" is an important detail for me) I was tired of sending my burger back every time I ordered it, so I tried ordering the "cajun chicken pasta" (with no chicken) the last time we went to Chili's. The pasta arrived with no meat, but it had dried into a solid, dry clump of pasta... I assume from sitting under a heat lamp for so long. It was disgusting. read more

Had a great lunch at Chili's yesterday with my mother-in-law and 11 year old niece. She played games on the little credit card machine while mother-in-law and I visited. It was a very nice lunch and the food was wonderful and the service was awesome. read more

Have been there three times. The service is ALWAYS miserable. Waiters are rude, too busy to bother filling your tea glass or make sure your order is correct. Food is often cold from sitting too long in the kitchen. I won't go back there again - ever. Recommend you don't bother to go there either. read more

I have always ordered for car pickup, usually never get what i order. More often than not I have to ask for my drink. Do not understand why you can't use their own giftcards when you order online. food is so-so read more

Normally I enjoy my time at this chili's. I visited a couple of days ago and it was the worst experience I have ever had. I, along with my cousins took our mother's for a late lunch. It was busy, we expected it to be a little slow. We did not expect it to take over an hour to get our meals. People who showed up after us received their food and were already gone before we had our food. The table behind us I am pretty sure got 2 of our plates, they complained because they hadn't even had their appetizers yet. When we did get our food we were told that other servers kept taking our food to other tables. Steaks were not cooked correctly and burger buns were rock hard. When we paid I gave the waitress cash, she brought back an even amount, not correct change. I guess she decided to keep her own tip. We were already running late because of how slow they had been so we did not have time to speak to a manager in person, but we did call. When we called the person who answered the phone hung up on us, twice! I'm not sure what the issue was that day but they need to get it together. read more

Awful. Just awful. I've tried many things from here trying to find something that was good but no luck.

Total disapointment! Ordered beef enchiladas and it took a long time for it to be served. This was in mid afternoon and the place was nearly empty. When it finally came out the enchiladas were hard on the surface top surface and the beans were so dry as to be nearly uneatable. The plate was very hot and I suspect the order sat under heat lamps for an extended period of time. Last time I ate there was 7 or 8 years ago and it was very good at that time. Looks like it's gone way downhill since then. Never again! read more
