The perfect blend of toffee caramel and chocolate. The smoked wings were very disappointing. I really like the monthly margarita specials, the daily happy hours and the staff is always attententive. The issue is Wi-Fi doesn't work at all and it's really starting to affect my decision on when and when I do not go there. I don't necessarily have to use their Wi-Fi but turning Wi-Fi on or off & trying to use my own Chili's wifi still does not work. I've been here with several people and we all have the same issue. I went here for lunch today for the first time, I wasn't expecting much because I've never been to a Chili's before and heard lukewarm things about it, I decided to try it and it was much better than what I've thought it would be, I had the 3 for me special which had shrimp cajun pasta, salad and a beverage all for only $14! (I'd be paying $20 for the same thing at Olive Garden), George was my server and he was really cool and friendly towards his guests, he made the restaurant a lot of fun to go to, I'm definitely coming back to Chili's when I can. read more

I like the consistency at Chilis. No matter which Chili's you go to you are going to get good service and tasty food. I know some people have had bad experiences but i can't say that i have ever had a bad experience. Food has always been hot and good, Drinks are cold and plentiful, and staff has been friendly and on point. I also like that usually a manager will come around at the end of the meal and check on you. If you are one of those people that had a bad experience and you didn't tell you waiter and you didn't tell the manager..then that's on you. I really enjoy their chips and salsa. The salsa is not spicy but i really enjoy the flavor of it. I like taking advantage of the 2 for $22(it was $20), basically its 2 meals and a free app. It works for me because the meals are what i eat burgers, chicken crispers, quesadilla. My better half had their Carnitas the other night. It was served on a hot skillet like fajitas with rice and black beans. The was flavorful and not dry. The wait was supposed to be 30min, after checking in 1hr later the host (guy very unprofessional) states there's no tables & says it will be another 40min, (there were tables available). After waiting 1.5hr, we went back inside asked to speak to manager, the host hesitated for a few minutes, didn't want to call the manager. When the manager came out, he was also very unprofessional, raised his voice and stated he couldn't sit us down due to there were no tables. Last night 6/3/22 the customer service was disappointing. My family I went in and I can only eat certain foods right now. I ordered a steak medium rare and got well done so returned it. Decided not to eat anything. The manager did offer but I declined. When we first sat down though was when the customer service started wrong. Our waitress was only interested in a table that had six or more people at it. She neglected to check on our refills as well as the other two tables in our row. We had ordered and been sitting longer than the couple behind us and they received food before us. When I asked about the side salad my husband was supposed to get and our food we were told let me check. When she brought the side salad out she said oh we are just waiting on the sides. I know staffing is an issue everywhere and we were fine with waiting but be as attentive to all of your customers not just one and just communicate. read more

We've gotten to-go orders before to our satisfaction but my most recent visit for take out ruined that for me. I ordered a southern smokehouse burger, the way it comes with extra pickles. They replaced the smokehouse sauce with mustard and gave me 3, count em, 3 pickle slices. That's only extra if you get 1 or 2 normally. My husband and I love Chili's overall in general. They have come leaps and bounds with their menu and offer a wide variety of options to choose from. Chili's locations are hit or miss when it comes to service, but this one by far is definitely miss. With it being a major restaurant chain in the middle of a tri-town area (Pflugerville, Round Rock, Hutto), it is constantly packed and I don't think we've ever gone there when there wasn't a wait. This is probably the only "sports bar" within any minimal distance so have fun trying to watch the game in the bar if that's your plan. Service is typically slow, and this last time was no different except the waitress actually knew every bit about the menu (kuddos to her). They have these kiosks on the table where you can reorder drinks and even pay your tab so you don't have to wait for the waiter/waitress to bring the check, and my husband had the bright idea to pay the bill before we were finished eating. This meant getting a to go box was next to impossible. So to summarize, the food is generally pretty decent (however I do not recommend the steak or the smoked potatoes), service here is not good, prepare to wait for a table, and don't pay until you no longer need anything from your waitstaff. I happened to be driving by one night about a week ago and saw that the restaurant was already opened. I didn't even realize it. If you've been to one Chili's you've been to them all in terms of food, that sort of thing. I ate at the bar which was relatively empty for a 10 PM on a week night. Bartender was nice and prompt as was the food. My only issue came from the idea that this place would close so early. I may have to physically go and check, but I didn't think that any Chili's closed before midnight anywhere. The website says that all Chili's restaurants close at 11 PM on week nights and midnight on weekends, but this one closed at 10:30 on weeknights and 11:30 on weekends. I'm not sure how accurate the website is. I was really hoping for a late, late night restaurant in this small town of ours (maybe when the water park opens next year), so I was a little disappointed with the closing times. Lewisville outside Dallas has chain restaurants that typically close at 2 or even 3 AM on weekend nights for instance. In any case, I am happy to read the one review that said while the place closed at 11:30 one night, they still accomodated people in the restaurant until 12:30 AM. I can guarantee you that when football season rolls around those Hendrickson kids will be there as long as possible!! They already flood the Whataburger parking lot next door from 10 PM to 1 AM on game nights, and I expect some, if not most, will migrate to Chili's. read more

Good Chili's location, easily accessible off tollway I130/I45. The service is excellent! The restaurant is super clean and fairly new. However, the food is fairly average. Our meal was pretty tasty, but not very warm. I had the Boss burger, and we had triple appetizer. The Southwest Egg-rolls are probably one of the best items on the menu. On this Tuesday my wife and I sat at the bar and there were 2 chairs right next to me. Immediately I asked the bartender what she was going to do about it because there was no social distancing and she replied, "I don't know but I'll check". Well first off she should know and after she came back the chair next to me was finally moved but not both! My concern is that management still stuffs the barstools in too tightly in spite of the minimum 6 foot social distance recommendations as if everything is still normal and it's not! To add insult to injury after that a gentleman sat on the other side corner from where my wife was also compromising distance. Having read the reviews on this restaurant, I was confused since I had visited them right after they opened. On the first visit, I found the food good and the service quick and attentive. Today's trip did not disappoint. We (4 of us) ordered different dishes and made special requests on each. Except for some missing sauce, the orders were correct, included the burgers that we requested cooked medium. I believe that they are going through some growing pains and we saw a lot of training going on, which will pay off in the future. The manager while we were there was Jamie and she went out of her way to make sure everyone was being taken care of. Ok so here is the scoop on this place: 1. We arrive to a 25 minute wait on a Wednesday evening...ok it's in a shopping mall. The odd thing is there was about six or seven dirty empty tables and no one was working to clean them the entire time we were waiting. 2. Several people were seated before us but came in after us. The staff claimed they had called in ahead of time but wouldn't you think they would have been sat immediately? Maybe it's the sour taste already in my mouth. 3. About 25-30 minutes later we are seated. My wife and I are now in a little hurry so we have already decided what we wanted so that we can get this done in one big swoop. Problem here is that we now wait for another ten minutes and no one comes to our table at all. No drink order, nothing! 4. The table next to us is now complaining about the food. Everything was cold from what I could hear. Finally, after waiting 25 minutes up front, 10 minutes at the table, not being served and told the reason why they were not seating quickly is because they didn't want to overwhelm their staff in a half empty restaurant, we left and will probably not go back. I have been a cook and waiter. Never have I heard such an excuse for a wait. On top of it all, don't their wait staff double team tables? Epic fail! Chic-fil-A here we come. read more

Oh, Chili's what has happened to you? You used to be a reliably good place to eat. Fajitas, burgers, chips & salsa, chicken crispers, southwest egg rolls. Oh, you were so good! And then something happened to you. Something that made you sad, maybe mad. But why take it out on your customers by making your once-good food...suck? We've had a long go of it, Chili's, but I feel that it is time we part ways. No more will memories of past goodness warp my decision making. The last straw? This week's dinner visit. Chips and salsa to start off with. Chips were the same as always (good), but the salsa is different. Boo. I ordered an Old Timer, and it was good enough, nothing special. The fries tasted like and felt like they had been sittin' under the ol' heat lamp for a while. My husband got the Triple Decker/Dipper? app thing. Now, my husband puts up a fight whenever I've wanted Chili's but he gave in this time pretty easily (he's sick now with a cold, so his lack of clear-headedness is explained now) and he still complained that his food sucked. I tried a southwest eggroll from his plate and it was just gross. So disappointing. What's funny is that the two other booths in our section both complained to the manager about their food. The food is either a hit or miss too. I'm not sure if it's sheer laziness of the employees or incompetency of their managers, but probably a mix of both.
