This place has changed through years. I have been here quite a few times recently this year with my family. Our experience has improved since we last visited years before. The service has improved tremendously. The menu has also improved for selection. The staff always keep an eye you. Although there is still room for perfection, they are still great at what they do. Ambiance of the place has been remodeled as well since my last visit. Seems to be more space. It's also relatively busy compared to before. The management is actively engaged with every visit. Went for dinner on 4/11/26 it always amazes me to see all the low reviews at Chilis. The place was very busy and everyone seemed to be having a great evening. The restaurant looked in great shape and has been around for more years than I can count. Our server greeted us quickly and had our drinks out very quickly. We took our grandson out to dinner and he loved his pizza and applesauce. I got the standard cheeseburger that was a very big burger. It was great. My wife got the chicken Cesar and loved it. I had a really nice experience at the Chilis today. I'm not sure why they have low reviews but my experience was great. Lunch on a Sunday their was a line out the door so I asked if they had seating in the bar. They did, so we were able to avoid the crowd. We sat at one of the tall tables and the bartender was our server. He was busy! Lots of margaritas combined with the Sunday football crowd. But he was attentive, have good suggestions and checked in on us multiple times. Just exceptional service when he had every reason to check in once and go back behind the bar. We were so impressed! Onto the food. We both had the Pick 3 special. I had the Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadilla with a side salad. The server recommended I ask for it to be prepared extra crispy. I did and it was surprisingly good. A good amount of grilled chicken, nice crispy crunch combined with the sauce and cheese. I will definitely try that again. My friend has the bacon cheeseburger and it was huge! Just a great deal and very good quality. It was her first time at Chili's and I'm glad she was impressed. I don't get it - if you're miserable, and you can't be bothered with being polite and taking orders, FIND A NEW JOB! I think this guy is going to catch the wrong guy in there on a bad day and his little fantasy world of fucking with strangers is going to meet reality. Why can't Chilis just let people place their orders on the little screen devices, I mean you can check out on them. This type of negative experience would be completely eliminated. Been a long 11 years since we visited so why know...we have one opening here in Manor shortly and Im sure it will be in our rotation being so close to the house. Service was friendly and place was very clean. We do like the variety on the food menu so there will be something we will like. They do change there menu every so often to keep it fresh. We started with the Nashville Hot Cheese sticks...well maybe not sticks...more like planks of gooey deliciousness....we would go just for these...for a bargin just order the 6 as they reheat very well at home...way cheaper then the 3 count. Wife Had the Chicken Crisper combo with fries and Mac-n-Cheese...as for the fries...could have been crisper, but the real potato flavor was good...the Mac...not so good...it was literally bits and pieces of Way overcooked noodles...zero mouth appeal. Chicken was good, hot and crisp. I went with the Bacon Guac Crispy Chicken Sandwich...It was Ginormous...veggies were fresh, guac was good...chicken was spot on. Overall a good visit. Prices seamed high...but my brain thinking a big chain would be cheaper with everything being so expensive...Again..expensive, but the portions equal the price...Most important it was fresh and hot...except the mac...not so "hot"...It will be a nice addition to the Manor area when it opens. read more

I just picked up my to go order. The restaurant didn't look busy. I'm giving a 1 star for service. I stood there for several minutes and watched people walk by and ignore my presence. No one greeted me to say they'd be right with me or anything. It wasn't until a group of employees walked to the kiosk with their manager to order food for themselves, that anyone acknowledged me. The person who gave me my order finally, she saw me standing there, made eye contact with me but walked past twice. This was pretty annoying as I am sick and just wanted to pick up my food for my children to be on my way. I'd say this isn't the 1st time that a pick up for me took longer than it should have but this time several people saw me standing there and did nothing. Other times the restaurant was busy so I was patient but today there was no excuse when numerous employees were just standing around talking to one another. read more

Tonight I experienced old fashioned customer service! Unfortunately i forgot to get the managers name but it was a male, I explained to him that part of my order was incorrect. Instead of giving me a 10 question quiz he simply listened to what I had to say, let me keep the incorrect order, replaced what was incorrect about the order and threw in a few extra freebies! I ordered online and when I went to pick up at 8:15 pm I'm told there is no potato soup (we ordered the 3for me and there are limited choices) The online menu should've had that blocked. Came in for CHILI AT CHILI's and they told me that they're getting rid of it as and taking some things off the menu. How you gonna take away the chili when you're literally called chili's, it's absurd! Awhile back they changed the crispers and they're basically just basic freakin tenders now. Someone call chef Gordon Ramsey and put chilis on Hells Kitchen bc the business as a whole needs help. FYI chilis was the only thing I actually enjoyed, clearly not coming back. Although the word Chill is spelled differently from the restaurant's name if you Google the word Chill you'll get an accurate description of the dinner experience. 1. an unpleasant feeling of coldness in the atmosphere, one's surroundings, or the body. Highlight unpleasant feeling in the atmosphere. At least my skillet was hot. 2. horrify or frighten (someone) The bathroom. I first thought I was on an abandoned gas station that had been vandalized. My recommendation is to try to clean at least the blood out of the toilet sit. Period. My mother and I arrived around 10pm on a Saturday for a later dinner. There were signs posted on their doors that their system was down and they could only accept cash, which was fine because the host mentioned it as well and we had cash. At least they made us very aware so I appreciated that. Things happen out of their control. We ordered two cocktails, which were delicious, the chicken bacon ranch quesadilla and a salad. For starters, we were seated in less than 5 minutes(on a Friday at 6pm) even though we were #2 on a waitlist. Our waitress Isabel was super nice and attentive which made our visit even more great. My husband and I ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer and they were delicious, left us wanting more. For my entree I ordered the crispy chicken crispers with fries and a side salad. The crispers were delicious and full of flavor, I enjoyed everything plus the ranch! I had plenty of leftovers to take home as well and even after being reheated my food tasted just as great! My husband ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and fries and he loved it. Safe to say we can't wait to come back and eat more delicious food! P.S. I am not a fan of Chili's to begin with but this one is local and by my house. I visit the restaurant almost once a week and I have a favorite waitress, Ashley. Had she been there this wouldn't have been an issue. I think she is the only thing that makes this restaurant even tolerable. Last night we were tired after my son's baseball, so we walked into the bar area and sat down. The bar has been open seating for as long as this Chili's has been open. In fact this is how we are seated every time we eat here (I brought a group of 7 last week and did the same). No one acknowledged us for awhile and finally noticed a little staff pow-wow going on by the register kiosk. A waiter finally walked up and said the bar wasn't open seating. His story was they had a wait so they were including those high bar tables in their seating chart. It was 8:45 pm on a Tuesday night, one couple of two sitting near the hostess stand and SEVERAL open tables in the bar and half the restaurant was empty so COVID capacity wasn't an issue either. I have NEVER had good service in the main dining area of this restaurant so I always eat in the bar. It is funny how when I have a work crew of 7 people less than 1 week ago I was allowed to openly sit in the bar (while they were really busy) but a week later with my 14 year old kid and a friend I am told I cannot sit there. The young man claimed it was the restaurant policy for over a year but this has never been the case before. We opted to walk out and eat across the street. Chilis is our go to restaurant since both my boys eat here. This is our first time at this location and it was a horrible experience. The host was very rude until i drew my attention to him they had us all bunched up on one side of the restaurant because their "system is down" no idea what the system down has to do with where we can be seated. The serve not once checked on our table. The drinks and chips and salsa took 9 minutes to get to our table. I ordered my boys food as " appetizers" so we can receive them asap also took 25 minutes to get to our table. Not once did we get our table cleaned i had to ask for some plates to be picked up even though they were on the edge of the table with napkins on them.
