Parking was plentiful and free. The restaurant was not the cleanest establishment it had papers on the floor under several tables. The service was ok nothing outstanding for sure. We waited quite a while to be waited on but then the food and drink came out pretty quick, however when we wanted another drink we had to track down the server to order it. There seemed to be plenty of servers it just appeared ours was not real attentive. The food was served hot and fresh, the steak didn't look real appealing but it tasted fine. We had to leave another restaurant due to poor service and the restaurant actually flooding...so we ran to Chilis! We didn't wait, we were seated immediately and had great service the whole lunch. Our queso came SO fast and the chips were toasty warm. I had an absolutely delicious steak here, like hands down one of the best steaks I've had in a restaurant. This Chili's location is top-notch! Went here on Saturday night, and the place was packed. Our hostess seated us immediately (no wait). We started out with chips and salsa..I ordered the fajita platter for the entree. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. Totally awesome. Yes, I know there's a labor shortage. But the parking lot was 1/2 empty at 6pm & there were no other cars waiting for carry out. If you don't have enough help, close your doors. The person who took my phone order was hard to understand and acted like she was doing me a big favor. The chicken "crispers" were soggy. The texture was rubbery. The shape was odd. I didn't eat the last 2 pieces. And I didn't get the fries that were supposed to come with it, and didn't feel like returning in the rain while the rest of the food got cold. Chili's, folks, it's okay. Not tremendous, not terrible. The food? It's alright. I've had better, believe me. The service? Sometimes good, sometimes not so good. You might get great nachos one day, soggy the next. The burgers? Decent, but I know places with much better. The atmosphere? Very so-so. You go there, you eat, you leave. My friend and fellow Yelp friend couldn't decide where to go in town for food and name off a couple places but wanted something different. We decided to come to chilli's because we haven't been there in years so we decided what the heck, why not. We got in and they greeted us right at the door. We decided to sit at the bar since it was slow and figured we would get our food a lot quicker. The bartender came out to greet and take our order. She was very nice and recommended the margaritas since they are on special. I ended up getting fajitas which were very delicious. It was sizzling hot and came with the tortillas and a few sides such as cheese, sour cream, guacamole, etc. Overall, it was a typical experience at Chili's. Where do I start?! It was terrible! The restaurant wasn't clean. Came in and our server (lilly) had a terrible attitude to start. Our party orders and specifies how we want our burgers. Well the waitress didn't really like that and got aggravated about it. We had gotten chips and salsa and after about 20 minutes we finally get the chips and our drinks. Let's just say the chips were absolutely horrible. You could just tell that the oil they were cooked in was disgusting. They had the worst taste. We had brought it up to our server and she just pretty much ignored it. Then we finally got half of our tables food. Everything was wrong. All of our burgers were plain. They had nothing on it Even after we specified what we wanted on it. We had told the waitress and a manager (Alejandra) ended up coming over. Her attitude was even worse than the waitress. All of our food was wrong, half of our table didn't get food. I had gotten a drink with my meal. It was a diet Dr. Pepper (I'm a diabetic) the drink they gave me was a regular Dr. Pepper. I had told the waiter that I needed a different pop due to it not being diet and she told me that no that is diet. (I've been a diabetic for about 15 years) I know what a diet pop tastes like. Even after all this the manager did nothing. Nothing taken off any of the bills, no compensations nothing! Moral of the story do not come here if you want decent service. Even though there's only a handful of people in the entire restaurant it's an very long wait for the food. We ordered the fajita trio and got it in about 35-40 minutes but no tortillas. Had to wait a few more minutes for the tortillas so we could eat. Waitress almost never came to the table to check on us I think maybe once the entire time we were there. This restaurant needs some serious cleaning and training of all the employees. Numerous times we have dined there and it is always dirty. The restrooms in particular are always filthy and look like they have not be thoroughly cleaned in days. The floors are also dirty thru out. I normally eat at the Chili's in Machesney when I'm in town. I decided to try the East State restaurant and it was not the same of course. I ordered the Boss burger which was ok, the pulled pork was a bit tuff! The service was ok. It was the other servers and I'm assuming kitchen workers who decided to sit on the other side of us to eat and watch Soccer that annoyed us. They were LOUD!!! Took some time to attend us, and we came on a Sunday night. Not busy at all; but took about 10min just to take our order of our drinks. After the 10min the server came and said "I'm not your server but I can get your drinks started, (so and so/girls name) will take care of you and is your server". The guy brings us our drinks and states that he'll be our server, because he doesn't know what's going on with our main server. Uh, get your stuff together. Figure out who's taking care of who. First off I need to start our waitress Olivia was awesome. Today we had a party of 10. One in our party was 45 minutes late, therefore ordered about 30 minutes after the rest of us yet received there food at least 30 minutes before anyone else's at the table. It took about 45 minutes from when the first person got their mean until the last. My wife was the last to get her meal and it was cold but didn't complain because she was so hungry. Yet upon inspection there was a sizable hair in her meal. When we brought it up to a manger she rolled her eyes and brought it back to the kitchen. Never attempted to make things right. This is the second time our group went to this Chili's and both times food Was given to people almost a hour apart and food has been wrong or defective. Today was the worst. Very poor management. Our waitress was about to get us 10% off but we clearly had a very bad experience and not once did a manger come and try to redeem anything with our table.
