My boyfriend and I decided to go to chilis tonight to have a nice meal... unfortunately we never received that nice meal. We chose to do the "Togo curbside" option which usually means you park at a togo spot that has a number and a staff member will bring out your food.... Apparently that's not the case for this location. After waiting outside for thirty plus minutes we went inside to see if our food was ready. Not only was our food ready and had just been sitting on the counter it was completely wrong. We respectfully asked them to remake the food & they seemed to have an attitude because of their mistakes. Now an hour has passed that we had been waiting on our food. Finally they brought it out and never apologized for all the inconveniences. On the outside the food seemed to be fine but once I took a bite into my burger I could taste the char from the grill! My burger was COMPLETELY burnt!!! They put the wrong cheese and the mushrooms on my burger were so shredded up I could not even taste them. This is the most horrible experience I've ever had at this restaurant! It doesn't even stop there... the cookie that I ordered was so hard that I had to put it in the microwave so it would not chip my tooth. With that being said if you like bad service, hard cookies and burnt burgers then this is a place for you. read more

Food and service were both good. My husband used the restroom and said it was clean too.

To start, we asked to be sat at a booth but were told no as they did not have the wait staff. That was fine, we really didn't mind that much. However, throughout our meal several people were sat at the booths that they say they didn't have the waitstaff to waitress. I ordered the chicken crispers with Mac and cheese and fries. They had run out of Mac cheese the night before so only received the fries. BBQ sauce and ranch came with the chicken tenders and were obviously thinned out with water, almost no taste to them. Chicken tenders themselves were very spongy as if they were under cooked. Fries were cooked okay but no seasoning. We sat down at 12:00 and didn't receive food until 12:55. Waitress never came back to check on us after dropping food off at table, we had to go to bathroom for paper towels to use as napkins. Waitress was talking with other waitresses in the back the whole time and we had to walk to the back to get the check. $65 for food we barely ate. Hadn't been to chilis in years and won't be back anytime soon. read more

I've been is so many Chili's in different states and this is the worse I even been, you'll wait 20 minutes just to get someone to ask you for your choice of drinks, another 10 minutes to get them and you better be ready to order then, because you'll be waiting another 30 minutes just to give your order in, and this is in a regular day, don't visit during busy times, you'll be waiting for a while before you get a server to your table. My family and I went to this establishment after traveling to our fathers house to visit. First let me start by saying ... when it comes to servers you must ask for Quay! When I say he is the GOAT! He made sure we were taken care of and his honesty was refreshing. He laughed and joked with us and even put the game on as specific tv so my brother could enjoy the game HE was FREAKING AMAZING! WE LOVED HIM on his own he deserves 10 Stars!!! DOWN SIDE TO THE RESTAURANT... First off we walked in and just thought the restaurant wasn't properly ventilated it was stale and stuffy a bit. We were seated to the right (when you walk in) middle at the window. It wasn't until I had to go to the ladies room which was on the left when your walking in the main entrance. The closer I got to the restroom the more horrific the smell became. Upon entrance to the ladies room the smell was mortifying. Imagine literally dry heaving while using the restroom. It smells like there is possibly a issue with the plumbing and it constantly backs up and it don't help that it feels like the ventilation and AC don't reach to the bathroom. I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW THIS PLACE PASSES A HEALTH INSPECTION!!! Honestly I didn't read the reviews but this is not ok. I have never been to a Chili's like this and I have been in several states and locations being Military affiliated, they need to revamp this bathroom because this is unacceptable!!! read more

My wife's steak was well done as opposed to medium as ordered. I seriously doubt it was a ribeye steak. Couldn't get my wifes order right and brought me food I didn't even order and had to wait additional 20 minutes for them to make my order. My friend and I came here on a Friday night. It took 7 mins for us to be greeted and be seated. 15 mins for a waiter .... who had rotten teeth and dirty nails ask if we wanted something to drink. Took about 10 mins for that. When he came back with our drinks , he just sat down right beside me and said "whew I am tired y'all and need a seat" didn't even allow us to welcome him to our table just flipped down. When he finally decided to get up after 5 mins he takes our order ( we only order appetizers , the pick 3) and the waiter didn't write down anything. He came back twice to ask what we ordered.... by this time we had been sitting in this restaurant for 50 mins and have only been served drinks. Ultimately we left. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. The service is ridiculously slow and very unorganized. Never again will I ever. read more

I do not usually write reviews of chains unless they I have a great or horid experience, this was the latter. When me and some coworkers came in we knew something was wrong because there was no host and most of the tables had not been cleaned so there were few spots to sit down. Apparently the manager had some trouble with the help on this night. The manager apologized with the condition of the restaurant and since it was late and one of the few places open we ate anyway. Then we came back again and it was the same problem, the food was good and its one of the few places open late to get food in the area but the service and condition of the place is deplorable as you read in the other reviews here. read more

I have eaten at this location on a few separate occasions and was always pleased with the food and service, but yesterday it was exceptional! We both ordered the Fajitas with Prime Rib and it was delicious. We visited around 2 so it wasn't really busy and the waitstaff was very nice. Clean restaurant with no complaints! We will eat here again. The only thing that annoys me about Chilis is that you have to pay to play there games. Other restaurants offer this for free so I'm not sure why they don't as well. With that said it is nice that I can just tell the kids they can't play unless they pay for it because that means I don't have to deal with everyone fighting over one tablet. So maybe that's a win after all! read more

Only reason I give this a 1 and not a 0 is that I cant give it a 0. We checked in online like we have many times and with many different restaurants. We went to the hostess stand to check in and they said to hold on. We stood and waited for 10+ minutes only for the hostess to then tell us that when you check in online it doesnt go through to them and that we have to call in from now on. From that point it was going to be another 30 minute wait. There was only 1 party ahead of us and they were being seated. The floor was covered with trash and wetness from spilled drinks. There were at least 4 tables that needed to be cleaned that we could have sat at. None of the staff seemed to be willing to help us and noone was polite. We left and my husband called the restaurant to speak to the manager. He was on hold for over 10 minutes with no answer. We will NOT be returning to this Chilis. read more

If I could give a negative review I would. After driving back from the outerbanks, tired, and hungry I decided to stop at my favorite chain restaurant. After standing in the foyer 10min with no greeting and being ignored, I was finally asked if I needed help. Only to wait another 15min for water. After 20min and no one came to even take my order I left. Called the management, they offered a half @$$ sorry. No explanation, no offer to make up for their failure. Definitely wont stop at this location again. Employees all seemed to be unorganized and not care about their job. Funny thing we stopped at the golden corral across the street a week ago and we were blown away with the atmosphere, professionall, courteous and on top of their game. It was decently busy and the location was short staffed but I have nothing but great things to say. My husband and I ate there on a Sunday. We sat at the bar and ordered food. The hamburger was a good one but came out cold. I had a salad that was good. Complaint is there was no Bud Light Beer and a very low selection of beers. It was not busy, two people at the bar, yet as you looked around, there were dirty tables every where needing to be cleaned off. Covid is not an excuse for laziness. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK. I've worked in restaurants for 5 years so I understand messing up, getting confused and having a bad day but this service is just terrible. 3 of us out here visiting we've ordered through DoorDash to go from here 3 separate times every time our order was wrong. The last time we ordered there were many things wrong with our order. We ordered sodas, there was only ice in the cups. We ordered a burger and fries they didn't give it to us at all. We ordered potatoes as a side and got corn. Ordered sour cream, ranch and ketchup didn't get any of those. No silverware to eat the food with. Then we tried to call to tell them, their phone just kept ringing and saying press one to stay on hold. After calling multiple times we gave up. We reordered everything that was missing and the order came back wrong again. Came again, my 4th try. ordered our food at 7:30 for curbside it said to be here to pick up at 8:10. Didnt receive our food until 9:20 got into the food and everything was cold. People in the waiting room had been waiting there since 7:30 and when we left at 9:20 they still didn't have their food. Another guy had his order made and sent back 3 times because it was wrong. There were 10 to go bags of food sitting on a counter in the to go area from people that got upset and just left. One of the worst dinning experiences my family has had in a long time. On a road trip from the outer banks back home to Charlotte we sat in this chilis for over two hours. We waiting for everything, slow drink refills, 30 minutes for appetizers, over an hour for our meal, no manager in sight to speak with, our server was kind but seemed clueless to the fact we were waiting around for everything. The apps came out cold, the food came out cold with multiple orders messed up. There was multiple graduation parties this day and we fully understood that they were busy and understaffed but the way it was dealt with was miserable. Ps. Wow! Everyone who came up and sat at the bar waited 5 to 7 min. just to be acknowledged. Left over dishes from previous guests were scattered around. The bar tender dried their hands on their jeans. My soup and salad came out 24 min. after I had ordered. My soup was luke warm. Customer service should be first priority which is seriously lacking in this establishment. I feel sorry for the owners of this place. The wait staff are so screwed up. Went there yesterday and it was one disaster after another. The place wasn't even busy. Had a party of 7. No exaggeration we had 4 different servers visit the table at some point and each one took turns in screwing up our order. 10 minutes to get drinks. One server admitted she was late because she was on the phone with her boyfriend. When the food finally arrived, we had to remind the servers what they missed. Management seemed uninterested. The food wasn't bad though. Service was. Being from the area I kinda knew what to expect. Customer service in Rocky Mount generally leaves a lot to be desired. Worst service i have ever had in a chilis, Sat at the bar and out of approx 20 stools maybe 5 people at the bar. 15 min to get a beer and another 15 min before anyone showed up behind the bar to take my order. food came out wrong, the server put my food in front of me and dissapeared, no napkins, no silverware, no condiments . Had to find all that stuff my self. Complained to person behind bar when someone finally showed up again., offered new food, i declined, they paid for my beer and i left after expressing my displeasure. That chilis will never see me again. Dirty dishes all over bar from the time i got there and were still there when i left 45 min later. Filthy tables that had not been bussed everywhere. No hostess for about 5 minutes, then she sat us at a sticky/dirty table without even talking to us. We flagged her down and asked her to wipe off the table--she dusted a dirty towel over it and left. Asked her to get rid of the stickiness and she said she had to go wet her rag. After that (without so much as an "I'm sorry," we waited for a server to take our drink order--none came for 10 minutes. We finally stood up to leave, and the folks who were sitting and waiting for a table decided it wasn't worth their time either. They followed us out and we all expressed our disgust. Wish I would have read the reviews before I walked in the door, but come on--it's a chain restaurant. I'm not sure how they can stay in business with all the awful service they offer.
