I ordered a Quesadilla Explosion Salad the chicken was both cold and bland tasting and some of the lettuce was wilted. My mom order BBQ ribs and hers was cold she tried to order some shrimp as well but luckily our waitress advised against it as it was 9$ for 6 tiny shrimp that doesn't even taste good, you can get 2 lbs. of shrimp for that price. the only saving grace was our waitress. read more

We have been coming to Chili's in Slidell for quite some time now and the service has been going downhill quickly. Five of us decided to go into Chili's for dinner tonight. The restaurant wasn't busy-maybe 10 tables including bar top. We sat at the table for 20 minutes with no service. Waiters passed the table multiple times as well as what I believe was a manager as he was walking from table to table asking how everything was. The gentleman decided to skip over our table and move right onto the next. We did try to stop one of the waiters but he seemed to nudge us off and continue on his way. My husband got up and walked to the Hostess stand to ask her if she could send a waitress/waiter our way but stood there alone as the hostess was nowhere to be seen. An elderly lady walked in with 3 of her acquaintances and the hostess comes walking straight to the stand to seat the ladies. She looked at my husband and just said 'Sorry' and walked away. That was the straw that broke the camels back. Clearly our business was not wanted so we got up and left. Each employee in that restaurant was completely unprofessional. I understand that even though the restaurant didn't seem busy, the staff might have been running amuck. But a simple 'I'll be right with you' would have sufficed. The food was okay, the service was terrible, the whole place was filthy. To get service was a challenge. I won't be back! Very disappointed. Chilis is normally consistent. To follow up, we gave them another try on 11-2-16. The place was clean, but service remains poor. We ordered a Captain and diet, and after a brief wait were told they only had Jack Daniels. We were also told 4 of the beer taps were broken so I ordered Abita Amber which was served flat. We cancelled our order and left. Ordered chicken pasta for curbside pickup and arrived on time and waited almost 30 min after the time it said it would be ready also get home to eat my food my chicken was ice cold and like rubber couldn't chew it and if you tried it felt weird called them to let them know they put me on hold and never picked up the call waited on hold for 15min don't go to the chills in slidell it's very very sad and poor management things aren't ran the way there surpost to be. read more

If you're planning on eating anywhere in Slidell, do not choose here. Whether it's dine-in or to-go, this Chili's is sure to disappoint you. They will be undeniably slow, your food will probably be undercooked, and the service will be less than subpar. I recently went there to receive a to-go order which I waited over an hour for, for which I got to watch the teenage staff eat their food and then hand off orders without proper sanitation measures. Basically, this Chili's is awful. There's nothing positive to say about it and there's a reason it has the rating it does. On the plus side, food was great...everything was perfectly cooked and hot and fresh when we received it. Our waitress was very attentive and kept our drink glasses full (my husband and son tend to gulp drinks-usually three glasses a piece during an average meal) Now for my complaint....When we entered the restaurant, I asked the hostess for a booth or table (I don't like the high-top tables, I'm short and my feet dangle) The restaurant was very busy and there weren't many tables or booths empty, but the hostess told us that there were none available (even though we could clearly some) She seated us at a very small high-top table (dangling feet-ugg!!) The table was way too small for us, and by the time our food arrived we were literally stacking plates on top of one another. My husband got testy because he accidentally stuck his elbow in his beans and rice (which made a mess), but there was no where else to put that plate. Meanwhile, we watched the hostess seat family after family at the very same booths and tables she had just told us were unavailable...Frustrating, to say the least! I guess next time I'm going to have to insist we get a bigger table, so we can enjoy our meal!! read more

I am always underwhelmed with this chilis location. They have potential to be better but i am constantly disappointed with the customer service in the to-go area. When I call, I am always unpleasantly rushed through placing an order. When I arrive to pick up the order, I am seldom greeted and sometimes not even acknowledged for a long time while the server is standing right there at the computer. Also, I often order the cajun alfredo with shrimp and the shrimp recently changed and are much smaller and not appetizing. The food is always just okay, but the service is even more sub-par. Four people were in our party and 3 of the 4 got their meals together while the 4th didn't get theirs until everyone else was done ratings the server said everything was due to a problem in the kitchen. However, a side salad doesn't take 40 minutes to make. Drink refills also are not reliant upon the kitchen. Sometimes we eat at chain restaurants because we are in need of consistency. All new menu design. Traditional burgers that I always enjoy. Cooked just right. Add some BBQ to an Oldtimer and recreate the classic Rojo Burger. Great fries. My main complaint is that the first 2 pages of the menu is full of nothing but drink choices (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) without a single price on a single item! Ask the server to learn that lemonade is $3. Really?!? No wonder they hide the prices. I'd be embarrassed to too! Over $8 for a margarita. There should be a law against hidden prices on menus. Took an hour plus for lunch. Slow service, food was really slow to arrive and when it did the salad my niece ordered had chicken on it (extra charge) and I received a sandwich instead of the flatbread I ordered. Food tasted good when it finally arrived. Would have been nice if someone would have apologized or even acknowledged the mistake, but you get what you pay for I guess. The cherry on top was when it took 10 minutes for us to get a check because the devices at the table weren't working so I asked for the manager. The manager came out with a chip on her shoulder and explained exactly what the server had said 10 minutes ago that the system was down and they are working to get it back up. No apology or acknowledgement (again) for the extra wait and got a side order of attitude. I get it the power goes out and nothing you can do about it. My wife and I stopped by for lunch today and we enjoyed it. She had fajitas and I had a burger. The food was good but the highlight of lunch had to be the service. Our server, Dawn, was exceptional! We visited this restaurant the day after Thanks Giving and elected to sit at the high tables in the bar area as it has more daylight and does not feel claustrophobic. We ordered the advocado burger and watch a football game on one of the televisions, a little time latter a young lady brought our meals to the table and asked if we required anything else. We asked for mayonnaise and then looked at the burgers, the burger was only half a burger with bacon! We queried the order and the young lady realized she had brought the order to the wrong table! We watched the young lady take the order back into the kitchen and within 30 seconds came back out with same order and delivered it to the correct table. We had not touched the food but I was worried at this cavalier attitude to the delivery of food ordered. Our advocado burger arrived and tasted wonderful but the avocado looked nothing like the beautiful slices on the menu. I would eat here again but maybe not order the advocado burger. read more

Went to Chili's with my sons after a long day at work. Walked in at about 920. Server was excellent. Food hot and delish.

The absolute worst dining out experience ever. The service was acceptable. But, the food was absolutely terrible. It all seemed like microwaved food, not something cooked in a restaurant. Chicken quesadillas were so dry and overly-nuked, the chicken was almost inedible. We will never eat there again. I wish I could give this zero stars. Horrible. read more
