I've been to this Chili's in the past and it has been amazing. I don't know what has changed but unfortunately it has . I went with a friend and her little Daughter. We sat down and a lady comes up and says " Don't use the monitor thingy because they are All messed up and grabs it off of the table and then walks off . Then 5 minutes later another Lady walks up and hands menus and says I'll be right back . My friend went to the restroom and the Lady comes right back and says " What are we having " I said " Can you give us a minute because they are in the restroom " She said sure . Literally 2 minutes later she comes back and we just started looking at the menu. She asked again. My friend said " Can you please give us a few minutes more . She acted mad and said sure . I then noticed that she was waiting on a huge group of people that were very demanding. She came back very quickly so we ordered . Our Main course arrived first even though we ordered appetizers. My friends Daughters food wasn't with it . We asked where it was ? She said "Just waiting on the Fries ; Sorry " 10 minutes later still no appetizers, or the little girls food. Then a man comes running up with only the burgers no fries no condiments and says "We're still working on the fries ; Sorry . I was like What about the appetizers?? He said " I don't know ; Let me go check . The waitress comes back up with our bill .... And says "just pay me when you're ready" I was very upset and asked to speak to the Manager. It was the guy that didn't know about our appetizers. He ended up taking one entree off .... But ..... Come on .....This is the second time that it has been a hot mess when I've gone there in the past month and I won't be back . Last time they brought All of our food out at once with the bill and never came back to check on us and they were not busy ....... read more

The 2 times I've eaten here weren't very good experiences. Just walking in the restaurant smelled dirty/greasy. It wasn't clean and at our table the salt and pepper shakers were dirty as well as my fork and the payment machine. Our server did a good job but I will never go there again. Curly haired bar guy with forearm tat needs to take a seat. He's rude, arrogant, doesn't make eye contact, we asked to sit at the bar and he straight up said no. Go talk to the hostess. Like what? Another waitress said to him "isn't it open seating" she was cool and apologized for his rude behavior. Then we sat at the bar and he continued to be a prick the entire time. Chili's food is a favorite of our family and we have tried to get a seat in Spanish fork many times. Recently, we have joined the virtual kind and/or given a wait time at the desk for 45 minutes to an hour. However, after waiting 90 minutes and checking in again, we were told "another 20 minutes". Glancing around the restaurant there are multiple empty tables and others not cleaned off. This last visit in February 2021 we arrived at 4:30 trying to beat the dinner rush. We were told it would be 45 minutes, despite the table being mostly empty. After 65 minutes of waiting, I counted 12 empty tables and was told it would be another 20 before we were sat. The food and service is good if you are patient enough to get a table. The hostess always looks stressed so, bring your patience cap if you have your heart set on eating here. read more

Our waitress, Hannah, was AMAZING. It was a Friday & they were completely slammed. It seemed like new employees, & I'm sure they were very short on staff due to Covid. Our server was seriously so good. We will definitely ask for her from now on. We were so impressed with how she managed everything. We all know chili's isn't amazing food but sometimes that's just what you're in the mood for. I decided to take my family there for lunch recently and I ended up regretting my choice. The food was fine - nothing notable either way - but the service was terrible. They were completely disorganized and couldn't figure anything out. We were seated right away but when the hostess left we were left alone for a significant amount of time (unusual for these places) and no one asked what we wanted to drink until our incompetent server finally found us. I'm not sure if our server was new to waiting tables or just brain dead. I asked what local beers they had and he looked up at the bar to see and said "My eyesight isnt great. How's yours?" basically indicating that I needed to be the one to figure it out. We waited a very long time for our food to be brought to us and the restaurant wasn't actually terribly busy that day. Another person kept bringing things to our table that we hadn't ordered or didn't need. There was a guy there that I finally inferred was a manager but wasn't wearing any identifying clothing or name tag. I would expect some of those things from a restaurant that was brand new or not a franchise but chili's has been around for long enough to have those things figured out. Chili's used to be a place you would go knowing you would wait a while for a table but then the experience was generally decent. Not anymore. read more

Chilis is freezer food plated pretty. I've tried this location multiple times and it just can't get an worse! This last time we'd gotten the 2 for $25, my chicken strips were fine, but my husbands steak came out still mooing. We sent it back and it did come out better. Still not great. Our starter of cheese fries didn't come out until we were practically done with our meal. The desert was fine, but definitely won't be back. read more

Joined the online waitlist an hour prior to arrival. App showed an hour wait. When we arrived we were told by the hostess that the wait list on the app and "their" waitlist were different and it would be an additional 45 minutes. Why even have an online waitlist???? Later we were told by a snotty hostess they turn the waitlist off on Fridays and Saturdays. That should be up front in their website. read more

Went in, was seated immediately. Good chips and salsa. Also liked the 3/$10 bacon burger meal. Our server was overly attentive but I attribute that to it being new. Went another time on Friday at 5 and was told the wait was an hour. I looked in the dining room and there were 6 tables that hadn't been bussed. After a 30-minute wait we then had a 45 minute wait for our order to be take. We kept getting confused for another table. The kicker was the table next to us with the same server came, ordered, ate, and left before we even had our food! They were a party of two and we were a party of 3. This Chili's has the worst customer service ever! We arrived at 1:15 on a Sunday afternoon. I told the hostess there was 8 of us. She said for a large party it would be 30 minutes. We sat and waited. We were here in Utah to start our family reunion. What a horrible way to start! We watched many small parties be seated. The hostess explained to me that because we were in a large party we had to be seated in a certain area and that it was up to the server when we could be seated. Ok, trying to be patient and we continued to wait. Meanwhile I see the "large party area" has three tables with people sitting. One table the people were finishing up and getting ready to leave. Another table had people also finishing up. The third table had already been served. Not sure what the server was waiting for. I went up to the hostess and expressed my concern of why we hadn't been seated. At this point it's 1:55. I asked to speak to the manager. Meanwhile my daughter had checked with Olive Garden next to Chilis and they said it was only a 5 minute wait. I told the manager my experience with their customer service. He seemed like he had no idea what was going on. He told me that he could get us seated. I told him no thank you, we are going over to Olive Garden. We all love Chili's and thought this was a great spot to meet before we went to the house to meet the rest of our family for our family reunion. Very disappointed!! read more

When we checked in the wait was 25-30 minutes. After waiting 45 minutes they said the wait would still be another 20-30 minutes. The dining room was only half full and the hostess said they were so busy with to go orders that the kitchen was behind. Waste of time. Please figure out how to monitor your to go orders better so people can also be fed in the dining room. Watched multiple people leave for the same reason. read more

I recently went to chili's and did a curbside pickup. We waited the time we were told. We then drove to the restaurant and noticed they were a little busy. So we figured we might be waiting for a little while. An hour went by and we still did not receive our food. I then went in to check on my order. I asked the staff if they had my order. No one knew if it was ready or where it was. They were very unorganized and showed no sense of urgency. I waited for another thirty minutes and still no food. People that had come after me were getting food and I was not. I asked for a manager and no one came. I ended up leaving with no food. I tried to call for a refund and couldn't get a hold of anyone. I've also sent an email to there site and I have not heard back. I would love to get my $40 back since I never got any food. read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I went in for lunch at 2:00 pm. It wasn't busy at all. There were at least 10 empty tables. I was on my one hour lunch break so I was by myself. I figured I'd be able to get a house salad and some southwestern egg rolls and be back to work on time. I was told there would be a 10 minute wait to be seated. Thought that was odd, as there were so many empty tables but whatever. They took my name and I waited. I finally got a table and sat there for 30 minutes waiting for someone to come get my order. I wish this was automated so you could hear the frustration and disappointment in my voice. On four separate occasions, our online order has been WRONG. When a full rack of ribs is order online, the tag for takeout IS WRONG. We receive a half rack each time. That's a $6 difference. The last time I ordered (7-1-2022). It happened AGAIN. Fix your ticket system. After the Uber dropped it off (this is not ubers fault), my husband drove, 25 minutes (round trip) to have the order corrected. Whom ever was on staff did not comp is meal nor give him a fresh, hot order of a FULL RACK of Ribs. Also, the phone system is absolute garbage. I was on hold for over 15 minutes to talk to a human about the ticketing system and then, the call us interrupted and hung up. Be better. Do good by people. read more

I have been to chilis so many times and I have never had a worse experience. My quoted wait time was 25-30 minutes but I ended up waiting a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes. After asking the host how long it would be after waiting the 2 hours and 30 minutes she rolled her eyes and sat us in one of the 5 clean open tables. I previously worked as a host at the Orem chilis and never would treat a customer that way. It is understandable that Friday nights are busy but if you're busy you should quote your wait time accordingly. There was over a 20 person waitlist and the host was still telling people that the wait would be only 30 minutes. Whoever trained the employees here needs to be trained themselves. read more

If I could give this a zero I would. I live here and I've worked at the Orem chilis myself. I understand the rush of people and how stressful this job can get. However, I have come to this location multiple times and every time it is a bad experience. People do not understand what they are doing and it's always a mess. There is always something wrong with my order or it takes forever. We were told 30-45 and we waited for over 2 hours. Tried the new Chilis in Spanish Fork. It was packed and loud. We ordered an appetizer but it never came. So when we got our food we asked our server and he didn't know what happened. Next thing we know the manager comes out and apologizes and promises a fresh one will be out and it will be free. Five minutes later a cook comes out and apologizes and gives us our appetizer. All in all the food was excellent, the ribs are fall off the bone delicious, and a problem was happily corrected. We will be coming back. Excellent job Chilis! read more

Came here with my family twice and the service was lacking. The guy manager attitude was ridiculous. As a former chilis employee he should go back and read the employee handbook. He needs more management training. I can only imagine how he treats his employees the way he treated my family. He needs to learn the better serve the guests first theory!!! 45min wait turned into an hour and a half wait. Table giving to someone else and was only given a table when i pointed it out. That was the first apology of the evening. Ordered food and waited 35 min to get our order which was only half right. I got my food my date did not. That was the second apology. We shared my food but quickly found it had been sitting out cold, dry and gross. We asked for chips to keep us going. Finally recieved my dates food apologies kept coming but by this time could not wait to leave. Glasses never refilled salsa empty.
