The first red flag was the plastic mugs. I expected more. Our hostess Madison was fantastic and that was the best part of the visit. The steak in the steak fajita was grisly and chewy. Never have I ever experienced such horrible service. Me and my fiancé love chili's and try to make it at least once a month. I'm not sure if we just went on a bad day or what. But we went to eat here on Thursday around I think 7:30 pm and we were greeted right away by the host, but it was all down hill from there. We sat there until 8:15!!!!!!!! Until we decided to just get up and walk out. I don't know why we waited so long to leave but we weren't in a rush and with us loving chili's, we just sat and waited hoping to be greeted by someone... ANYONE ? I live close by and get food here often. I usually get quesidilla explosion salad and chicken soup. It seemed like the salad was really not the normal amount, quesidilla were beyond over cooked. I couldn't even bite into it. Chicken soup was dry and disgusting actually. It seems like the last few times I have come, the quality of food has gone down hill. I only wish I could give this place less than 1 star. I didn't go in with high expectations- just a quick, warm, edible meal for my family. Aside from the waitress's rolling eyes, sighing, forgetfulness, and inability to return in less than 15 minutes...it took 1 hour 20 minutes from sitting to begin eating! By the time the food came it was rubber. My daughter took one bite of her grilled cheese and refused any more (a rarity, I assure you). My son's enchiladas were nearly inedible so he ate most of my burger and I nibbled on his rice, which was salty and greasy (how do you make rice greasy?!). Then to our dismay, this location charges $1 per tiny cup of sour cream- (the size you typically get dressings in) so none with our salsa, our tacos, our enchiladas- none. Once our food finally arrived we had to wait, yet again, because she forgot silverware, then they were out of clean & rolled place settings and needed to prepare some. I can only hope they weren't cleaned by someone licking them or by wiping them off on a dirty dish towel. The only redeeming factor was the manager saw we were unhappy and cut our bill in half. But this small gesture only prevented me from having to demand a discount for the poor service. And then, if I didn't think it could get worse my daughter was so grossed out by her meal she projectile vomited all over like Linda Blair. The only thing missing was the head spinning around. It went everywhere- the chair, the floor, my pants, my shoes... Truly impressive. Honestly, her gastrointestinal pyrotechnics were merely the personification of how we all felt about the experience in general. Hell, if I could purge myself of it I would. I visited this location for dinner late at night. before i left i used the bathroom and when i got in my car i noticed one of my rings was missing. i called the restaurant and the manager (i believe her name was shelly) answered the phone quickly and managed to find my ring! even though the restaurant was closed at this point she told me i could come back and pick it up! great customer service! read more

Can I give zero stars please. I want it known that myself and my friend go once a week to this Chili's and we supported Chili's during COVID and this is the first time I have ever had this experience. First most of the sign in kiosks are missing from the table so I show my waitress, who is training someone and she should not be, my app to show I have a reward for the new chicken sandwich. My friend orders a pasta dish. Food shows up and the bottom bun on the outside of my sandwich is cold like it was just pulled from the fridge. I had the waitress come over and she takes the sandwich back and says "let's see what we can do with this." I told her to make it to go as I my friend by the time she showed up had finished eating. The sandwich comes out and she tells me the reason the bottom of the bun was cold is because the sauce that they put on the top part was cold. WHAT???? Seriously you just needed to rotate out your expiring product. I opened the sandwich and the lettuce is like ice, the meat is lukewarm, and the bun is kind of hard. I tell her all this and she doesn't offer up a manager to come to the table or anything. She leaves the bill and puts a $3.00 upcharge on the bill and I ask her why. She said because the sandwich is not on the 3 for $10. I again told her I showed you my reward and showed it to her again. She still doesn't understand so I have to read it to her. She then goes, "My bad." Again remember she is training a new waitstaff. The bill gets paid and as we are walking out I ask the woman by the door if she was the manager and she said yes. So I tell her what happened and that we had paid but this meal is going straight into the garbage so basically I donated money to your restaurant. Her response, "I hope you have a better day" That is the customer service you provide? You should have refunded me on my lunch. I immediately phone Brinker's customer service line and all you get is leave a message. Well here is the message I am leaving for you Chilis. Dude, so I have to admit I truly get crazy cravings for Chili's Southwestern Egg rolls. So yesterday when my girlfriend pick Chili's for happy hour drinks and appetizers my stomach was all about it. We started to visit this Chilis after a horrible experience at the rt. 59 Hoffman Est. one and think since then we both have been satisfied with all our visits. We have sat in both areas of the restaurant but more-so at the bar like we did last night. The service was good. The bartender was friendly, timely and informative. He seemed always busy with over-maintaining his bar but never sacrificed guest's service because of it. We've had him before and I pretty much remember alot of the same so no complaints. The element that I truly think makes this particular Chilis enjoyable is the management. And at that one particular manager in general. I don't know his name but I always see him and he is always at different areas of the restaurant checking and making sure everything is up to par. Just last night I saw him behind the bar, at the host stand and on the line in the kitchen observing, checking and making sure everything was right. It's just something I notice but I think is great because I know the positive trickle-down effect this can have on a restaurant's staff. I should have reviewed this place much sooner. This Chili's is something special. I used to hate Chili's as each time I went before the food was always horribly overcooked - Ah yes, but this wasn't Chili's of Streamwood. This was Chili's that was ones I won't go to. Chili's of Streamwood I went there because I ended up wanted to sit down with my girlfriend somewhere local, and ended up going there because it was convenient. Figured - I'll get a Burger. It was the best Cheeseburger (Did 2 for $20 and I got the Bacon Cheeseburger) I was in massive shock on how good the food was. My girlfriend (Now wife) also agreed how great the food was. Well, decided to go some more. Eventually it became our place we'd go. We've met a ton of great servers there. Everyone is always so nice and kind. One day I decided to take my parents there. They too were hesitant like I was. "Oh... Chili's is just generic crap food" Oh no. It is not. They eventually came with us as I was footing the bill. Response was the same as mine: "Wow! This is amazing food!" The Ribs always come out perfect where the meat just wants to fall off the bones, always well seasoned, and the burgers come out perfect. The quesidillas are also amazing. The appetizers are great too. Normally we get Chips and Salsa - Which is unlimited! I love unlimited! However sometimes we splurge a bit and get the Flatbread. Also, each time I go I always request Melissa - She is a sweetheart who truly brings the ideology of what a server/waitress should do. Very attentive, my glasses never empty when I order a soda or water, always checking up to ensure everything is to our liking. However I have had other servers too, they too like Melissa are amazing. Either way, I will always go to this Chili's when I am in the mood for sit-down. The other part I love about Chili's is they do use the Ziosk payment center systems. Each table has their own little tablet that accepts credit/debit cards. I like it so I don't have to wait for a check to come out, and if I am in a hurry I can pay at my own convenience. The system does allow for unlimited games for $1.99 - however I am there to eat and socialize, not play games. Even though they do have a Ziosk Trivia game on there - Just rather socialize and have a good time. I do not prefer the Chili's to go as I feel all takeout always has the taste of the packaging materials. I only had it once, wasn't the same as sitting. But that's any place I've noticed. A solid dining experience on the part of Chili's! They were really busy for a Tuesday night! I was impressed. We arrived around 7 and got seated right away. I had already perused the online menu, so I knew that I wanted the Oldtimer (substituted with the black bean patty that my friend was raving about) and a salad. The black bean burger did not disappoint! It was very good and had a little bit of a char on it. A welcome change to the normal beef patty. And as always, the fries were hot and well-seasoned. Am I the only one who can never remember the difference between a Chili's and an Applebee's? In any event, if you go to either you generally know what you're getting. It's most likely food that's high in salt, fat, and calories. It's generally pretty good too. This one is no exception. I got the Cajun chicken pasta, which is spicier than they say but I like spice so thumbs up there. My kids got chicken fingers which I'm told were really good, and a kids menu pizza which I tried and was surprisingly, actually good for a kids menu pizza. We also had the pretzels as an appetizer and they were good....although the cheese was thick like wallpaper paste. The waitress was pretty great. She brought a drink my kid asked for but added she thought it looked weird so if he didn't like it she'd switch it out. There was nothing wrong with it; it was what he asked for but he didn't like it so she switched it out no problem. They also have these little game machines at the tables. For two bucks you can play unlimited games, but even better you can view and pay your bill without waiting for the waitress and I like that a lot! It's hard to find a sit down restaurant my kids actually want to go to. This is one of them so we'll be back. All in all a 3 1/2 star place but I rounded up because of the service and the bill machine. read more

This has been one of my favorite restaurant since I was a kid. I used to eat the chicken crispers every time my family went there and also got the awesome blossom. Now the awesome blossom isn't there anymore but the bottomless chips and salsa you can't beat! Now since I am older I am trying to make healthier choices. So now I get the margarita grilled chicken. It is very flavorful with the salsa on top and the black beans and rice are delicious as well. The wait staff is typically fast, but sometimes I have noticed that they have forgotten about my table for drinks or napkins. This is the favorite restaurant of my kids. They always get the traditional buffalo wings, chicken crispers, and the big mouth bites. The wings are some of the best but I find that it is a hit or miss at times. They can be perfect at times but each visit may be inconsistant sauce-wise and quality-wise. The chicken crispers and big mouth bites are delicious and we have never had a bad serving. The service has always been friendly and our server has always ensured that our drinks are always refilled and that we have enough extra napkins. The only reason any member of staff approached the table was, because our food was being served. Staff members passed our table multiple times without even a passing glance, during the time period.
