Well, it's been 6 years since my last review of this restaurant, but I still really like it. Sure, the price is higher ($34 vs. $24), for a boneless ribeye, but you still get unlimited rolls and two sides with your meal. The service is variable, because it's still somewhat transient, but they still do try really hard. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And the ambiance is the same, with country music blaring too loud, and several TVs with no sound on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I still think it's a semi-affordable meal compared with other places. Once inside, one is still greeted and asked if you'd like to pick a meat cut from the case before going back to your table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Instead of getting a bucket of peanuts, one gets a prepackaged bag one can enjoy there or at home. This definitely helps keep the inside cleaner![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We started with their ever famous rolls and were happy they give out two butters per basket now! For mains, I got the side Caesar Salad. My husband got the Full Slab of Ribs which came with two sides: Mashed Potatoes for him and Loaded Baked Potato for me. This was a really nice way for us to spread the value of our meal. They have one of my favorite caesar salads with deliciously creamy dressing and great croutons. We both really enjoyed our food. To pay, one can use cash with your server otherwise you can use the at table tablet to pay with card. I've seen a lot of other large chain restaurants use these but this was my first time seeing it here. It was easy to use and be on our way. This is the first time we've been here. I've heard a lot of good things about it but never had a chance to give it a try. My husband ordered the country fried chicken with a Caesar salad and green beans. The Chicken was good but he said there was too much sauce and it was overwhelming. The green beans were seasoned and prepared perfectly. I ordered the 6 oz sirloin steak dinner with a Caesar salad and fresh vegetables. The steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The vegetables were also cooked perfectly not raw and not mushy. They served us the Caeser Salads first, they were larger then I was expecting. I think I will ask for the dressing on the side next time... I like my salads with a lot less dressing. We definitely filled up our tummies! I had to force myself to eat the last bite of steak. The table next to us was celebrating their sons birthday he turned 21 and the wait staff came around the table and sang Happy Birthday to him and we all screamed yahoo, heehaw, or something similar at the end. I am a Texas Roadhouse die-hard and have been to many locations across different states and oh my god, this was an absolute disaster of an experience. After reading other reviews, this location has an insane issue with disrespectful servers/managers and allegedly "accidentally" sneaking extra charges on the check. We were a large group with 16 people coming from different states and countries to celebrate a wedding. We love Texas Roadhouse as a family so we arrived, excited for a great dinner and the second JoJo came to help our table, it was met with an unfriendly demeanor. A big chunk of our family was not 100% fluent in English, so we collected each order beforehand to make it as easy as possible for JoJo and we were met with impatience and annoyance. We know some people can have a bad day so we gave him the benefit of the doubt. While waiting for our food, we snacked on peanuts and put the shells on our plates. JoJo came up to a couple family members, took their plates and poured the shells into the bucket aggressively saying, "The shells go here." He could not have done it in a more rude manner. This felt like a microaggression, with him assuming we don't know how to eat peanuts, but like I said before, we love Texas Roadhouse and have been here multiple times as a family so we know where the shells go. But to pick up our plates and toss the shells into the buckets for us aggressively? Crazy behavior. Again, we wanted to give him another chance. Maybe we didn't get off on the right foot. When the orders came, we noticed 5 of steaks we ordered had onions and mushrooms on top, which we knew was an upcharge and definitely did not order. We asked him why this was added to our order and said my dad (who was ordering for the table of 5 that did not speak English well) said yes to everyone's steak at the table being smothered. Sure, maybe there was some miscommunication so we let it go. We got the rest of our steaks and no one else's meals were smothered. Great, everyone else's order came out correctly, except one steak that was super rare and JoJo brought it back to the kitchen. Got the steak back, it was overcooked but no worries, JoJo helped us there and we appreciated that. When we got the check, we were all baffled to see 11 steaks had the additional charge of the mushroom and onion topping when only 5 steaks were served smothered. The rest of us communicated our orders clearly and none of us mentioned wanting it smothered and our steaks came out without the add-on so why the hell were there 6 extra charges on the check? Immediately we sought out a manager. I kindly explained the situation to a woman manager (didn't catch her name) and told her about our shocking experience with JoJo. She was very attentive and was able to take care of the mistake and apologized. She was wonderful in mitigating the situation and handled it very respectfully. Relieved, I went back to the table to be met with another manager, Brian. I can tell the problem with this establishment comes from the top because Brian was rude, dismissive and disrespectful. We were not angry or wanted a negative confrontation, so we were very surprised to be met with such distain from a manager. Luckily, the extra charges were taken out of the check and we came out in awe at how horrific the service was (aside from the kind manager). It was even more horrifying to find other reviews with JoJo (and other severs) allegedly sneaking extra charges and Brian being rude to other customers, leading us to believe allegedly there was malice with adding those charges. Family dinner again and this time the service was disappointing. More attention to a coworker and a couple of old ladies than insuring your tables are taken care of. You disappeared for over 10 minutes near the end and when I requested refills on the beverages (plural) you only brought my son's back which i tried making your job efficient too. Consistently perfectly cooked steak with great sides and super friendly and attentive staff. Even when they are slammed, the staff are still friendly. They may check on you with bigger gaps in between but they are always cheerful and quick to respond once you make a request. Steak has been perfectly except once, which they corrected promptly and it was really a weird cut of steak, thicker on one side than the other. Absolutely love the ceasar salad, i get double. The other sides are quite good as well. Ribs are fall off the bone tender. And a good balance of sweet and salty. It was my first time eating Texas Roadhouse at the Bloomingdale location. I joined the waitlist on their website at home. They gave me an estimated time of when my table was ready and just texted when I was here! This is a great system they use. Service is great. Our waitress was awesome. It seems like the staff have to do a dance in the middle of the restaurant. Maybe every hour? I'm not sure but most of them did not look too happy so it was awkward to watch. We have asked our steaks to be cooked medium rare but we got medium well. We probably could've asked for a new steak but we were hungry and just ate it. It still tasted great. I recommend everyone to top it with onions and Mushrooms and order a side of radish. The baked potatoes are great! I recommend to top it with everything. We probably will be back at this location! Went the restaurant for my wife's birthday. She loves this restaurantBut we were disappointed with the steaks. We die not get the exact steaks we chose. We took pictures before and after. The girl who is in charge as a greeter is rude and not a good fit for the role. She said, "We didn't message you yet, wait for it and go out to the double door" without a smile on her face! I enjoy a good steak as much as the next person. And they aren't bad here. They were mostly cooked correctly. The sides were good too. I switched one of my sides after ordering and the server warned me I might get the salad AND the green beans. And I did, with no extra charge. So what bothers me? A couple things. They are so busy and the customers are hard to deal with. The parking lot is so full at 3:30 on a Saturday that you have to park in the lot next door. No problem, I am going to have extra calories to walk off. But then you have to shove past people to get in the door with the rest of your party. You have to dodge servers to get to your table. It is so loud you can barely process questions about what you want to eat. And then they sing the dang birthday song to somebody on a saddle. I don't want to say I felt rushed, but I did. I kind of felt like a piece of meat, getting passed around and then cooked and chewed up. Maybe I'm just getting older, but when they ask if I want dessert, I already feel sick to my stomach from so much salty meat, and I just can't wait to get out the door. Ok, the rolls are delicious. When you go to Texas Roadhouse, you know you're going to get a lot of food (most of it probably fried or filled with butter, or minimally with a lot of meat) at bargain prices, especially if you can do the early dine. This Texas Roadhouse is no different. There's a few things I like about this location that make it a little better than some of the other locations I've been to. The parking is more straightforward than some other nearby locations, which makes it easier to get in and out (some of them are in more of a square pattern around the restaurant, with a lot more cross traffic with pedestrians). The noise level was also fairly good, despite being very full (except when the servers sang happy birthday). The service was also very fast here, with an excellent waitress who predicted our needs in terms of rolls, butter, drinks, etc. so that we really didn't need to ask her to get anything for anything. As usual, the meats such as the sirloin steak and pork chop are very tenderful and flavorful, much better than expected given the price. The sides are done alright here, large in size but not necessarily anything special. The rolls come out piping hot and fluffy and are delicious with the cinnamon butter. Overall, a good location if you're looking to dine at Texas Roadhouse. The portion sizes are large and the prices are very fair. I'll say this - don't let them seat you anywhere near the bathroom. Luckily on our visit the restaurant wasn't busy so we asked to be moved and they happily did. I'm not sure if it was an unfortunate person who wasn't feeling well, or they were having sewer issues, but it was a very unpleasant smell, so I would just avoid that entire area. The music is a bit on the too loud side of things, and funnily enough, not thirty seconds after I mentioned this to my husband, they turned it down slightly. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, no complaints. On to the food - My husband and I ordered the fried pickles for our appetizer, which come with either ranch or Canjun sauce, but the waitress didn't ask our preference and just brought the ranch. I asked about the Canjun sauce, and then she brought that as well. Both were ok. I feel like the breading on the pickles could have been crispier. We had a lot leftover that we took home, so we put them in the air fryer the next day and they were much better. We both got steaks for our main course. He got the New York Strip medium well and I got the filet medium. I feel like his steak was more well done and mine medium rare, but neither of us were bothered by this as we liked the end result. I knew it was a good steak because I never once reached for the steak sauce. As for the sides, I didn't care much for the rice, but the mashed potatoes with butter were delicious. As for the buns with the cinnamon honey butter, I could take them or leave them. They are good enough, but I don't like filling up on bread anyway, because then I have trouble finishing my steak. First time here, I was amazed! The food was delicious, the ribs were plentiful and tender, we also had the combo appetizer platter, also delicious! Servers were so accommodating and friendly! This was my second time coming to this place (different location) I told my 6yr old how good the rolls were so we decided to have lunch here. It was a Monday afternoon and they weren't that busy but we still had to stand and wait for about 10mins before being seated. Once we were seated we ordered drinks and when the waiter brought them back we immediately placed an order for food. My daughter got the kids tenders and fries and I ordered potato's wedges, boneless wings and fries pickles. After 30mins I realized our food hadn't come yet. My 6yr old was complaining about being hungry and I was too especially being 6mths pregnant. I noticed the couple that was seated after us had been served their food (entrees) and we had even gotten our food (appetizers). I flagged down a male worker who said he wasn't the manager but tried to help anyway. 5mins later, our waiter was putting our food on the table. My food was cold like I expected, especially after how long I waited. Right away, I told him my food was cold and ask him could he just put it in the microwave because I was so hungry. I did not want to wait for a redo. 10 minutes later and still no food. At this point, I saw another worker, a female, and l flagged her down and asked was she the manager, she told me yes. I explained to her what was going on and she went to the back to get my food. She came back out with food that should've been served to a dog. I was so offended, especially with her being the manager that she had the audacity to serve me a plate that looked like the one she handed me. There was buffalo sauce all over the plate. You can tell the food was old after it had been sitting for so long. There was buffalo sauce, wasted all over my fried pickles, and some of the fried pickles were missing from the original plate. I was so upset and hungry that I was brought to tears. I covered my face with my hands to calm myself, and I asked her would she remake the fried pickles at least because they had sauce all over them. She said she will remake the fried pickles and when I went to grab one of the potato skins again, it was cold and the cheese was stiff. I told her to cancel everything. So in the end, I paid $12 and some change for my daughters overcooked chicken tenders and fries and my Coke Zero. I left there mind you six months pregnant still hungry and about to cry. I will never revisit this location again. Customer service was terrible. The manager should be ashamed of herself for thinking it was ok to bring me a plate like that. read more

Wow!! Very surprised. This place does not disappoint. Being a big favorite of great steak, ie Mortons, Italian prime, Harry C. This place was great! The ribeyes, 12oz were made just right!
