Public service announcement: Last night I had the worst, I mean horrible experience at the Tulare, Ca Chilis . I go in with my friend Megan Brooks to have a drink and appetizer. We walked up to the hostess station where we tell the manager LJ that we would like to sit at the bar. She says ok it's open setting. I then tell LJ that those tables were dirty. So she then tells us to go stand by the tables and flag someone down and they'll come clean it (not my job) then we had the worst sever in America (Marissa). I start to do the survey because it was well deserved and "Marissa) decided so needed to confront me over the fact that I doing the survey. Two minutes after she walks away I am hit with ice. There were people at the bar that said they saw a server throw the ice. So if you want the worst service and managers that don't care how the customers are treated then chilies in Tulare is the place for you. I'll never be back. If I could give no stars I would. read more

Save your money I have gave this place to many chance and the food is always a disappointment. Doesn't matter what location Visalia or Tulare they both lack on there food taste. The only good things are the drinks. read more

We are fans of Chil's and were excited to have the express lunch with offers bottomless chips, salad and soup. The service was awful! We ordered the express lunch and spent a whole 1/2 hour waiting on our soup and salads. We had to ask for everything the waiter did not make an effort to do a good job. He would walk by and not refill our waters or lunch special. We had two waiters who did nothing but walk around and chat. One of our waiters was sweeping and handing us our food..yuck! Our experience was the worst and to top it off the waiter gave us the wrong change...$7.34 of a difference! We left wishing we had gone to the Carls Jr across the way! read more

Chili's is one of my favorite chain restaurants. I've came to the Tulare location many times and have had overall great experiences. I always get the 3 for $10 because it is such a steal! Drink, appetizer, and entree all for $10! Their baked potato soup is to die for. It is seriously the best baked potato soup I have had from anywhere. Their chicken crispers and fries are soooo amazing too. The chicken and fries are always crispy and full of flavor. I have also done the carside order pickup where you wait in your car and they bring your food to you. I once had a huge order and they actually got it all right. It was very convenient to be able to wait in my car instead of going in being as I was sick. I love chili's and will continue to visit! read more

One night me and my coworker waited for someone to take our order, the girl at the bar didn't acknowledge us for a bit. She saw us and started attending other people. We were at the bar. After we asked her if we could order something to eat... She replied with " we close in 15mnts" um okay so was that a no? Whey time we go they are rude and take for ever to take your order. read more

Hubs and I went out for lunch. We purposely sat in the bar because there were NO CHILDREN in there. The bartender (our server) was GREAT. He took our order promptly, and brought our beverages quickly. Mid-way through our meal, a family with two kids (maybe aged 2 and 4) walked into the bar. They'd decided they no longer wanted to sit in main restaurant area (in fact the father was carrying a child in a high chair). At this point, a female waitress (possibly barback) - sat this family at the table DIRECTLY BEHIND my husband and myself. Mind you - every single table in the bar was available!!! The children were loud, whining, the "father" was displeased about his soda, and the mother wanted a margarita (can't say I blame her). Our server (the bartender) asked us if we wanted a to-go box... (even he knew we were irritated). We ended our "quiet" meal and left with food on our plates. read more

always yummy, abeit not the most healthy but decently priced restaurants, chili's is forrest y's favorite restaurant. while on our drive back up from LA we stopped by after outlet shopping. on a monday night it's quiet but still pleasantly filled with people enjoying after work drinks, some families celebrating bday parties, and us. tasty ribs and burgers, good service (my glass was never half empty!) and clean bathrooms. yay to chain restaurants! read more

Service was better than the food. I had the Ribs which was on point as well as what the kids got. The rest of the food was just okay.

We have become big fans of the $20 for two deal.Sit in the bar duing happy hour and get the chips and salsa for free.

Still a 1 star, should be worse ..... We ordered and our appetizer took 20 minutes to us....chips and salsa took 20 minutes!! Our food came out 40 minutes later!!!! An hour....it took an hour for our order to arrive. This is unacceptable and needs to be addressed. The ribs were good but my wife's bread that came with her pasta was freezing cold in the middle. We didn't get silverware, we asked for silverware, and he came back to see if we needed anything......uh, we need silverware!!! Chili's in Tulare is pretty much a headache. Terrible service, not very clean, took forever to get our food and then get this- there was hair in my food. Not one, but multiple. My friend also had hair in their food. It was disgusting. Their "fiesta bowl" I think it's called (it's sort of like a bowl from chipotle, with grilled chicken, rice, black beans, and lettuce and what not) is pretty tasteless and seemed pre-made. I'd recommend you go to black bear diner instead. Better food, service, and prices. read more

This Chilis sucks. The manager Cynthia was really RUDE! Nicole was aweful and to top it all off the store manager IKE was a total douchebag. Honestly don't ever eat at this chilis! I have eaten here only 3 times. And everything I have gotten was disgusting! Bacon was soggy, the shrimp tasted like it was about to turn and the margaritas are watery and aweful tasting. Since Chilli's opened in Visalia, then in Tulare, my fiance and I go there to eat 9 out of 10 times. I have only had one bad experience due to a manager at the Tulare site. When he found out, he came out and made everything right. Great customer service, fantastic employee's. Food to die for and prices that rival anyone. As long as the food stays good and they stay in town, they have a customer for life. When I travel the first place I look for on my Blackberry is Chilli's read more

Tonight's dinner included a Classic Burger on the 2 for $20. I was served hamburger that smelled foul. Sent it back after 1 bite, NOW hoping I don't get sick. COMPLETELY understand why they offer 2 for $20, apparently they use the old stuff. Will not eat here again..... read more

We are from out of town and our hotel is right down the street so it was convenient. It was 3pm slow inside only 4 families in the place and it took forever!!!! The staff was very nice and polite we enjoyed the service but you must have a problem in the kitchen. After we ate linner we chose to have dessert ugh! The wild berry cake was in a skillet and should have been warm but was cold inside. The waitress with out me asking for anything spoke to the manager and had it removed from the bill. Cudos to her see great service. Just fix your kitchen help issues. read more

I'm not big on reviewing chains, but this Chili's is horrible. We've been sitting here for nearly an hour waiting for our food. Our waitress hasn't even come by because it's been taking so long. You know it's bad when another waitress passes by and says, "I need a break!" read more

I really do LOVE this chili's!! When ever me and my boyfriend come for dinner we ALWAYS have great service :) The food doesn't take too long to arrive, and the waiters always check up on you to see if you need anything. just recently they got the place remodeled so the place has a more modern look now. I don't really know why there are so many complaints. Maybe you people need to stop being so damn judgmental and grouchy to the the waiters! We're only human. If you want to eat Raw chicken and steak and possibly catch some food poisoning or salmonella CHILIS in Tulare is the place to eat!! WTF your restaurant sucks and should be closed down by the health department!! Would your cooks feed that food to their own families at home??? I think not Manager Joshua Glass thanks for telling us not to worry about the drinks after waiting an hour and 42 minutes to get our uncooked food!! Great hospitality. The restaurant was gross. Food and trash all over the floor. Tables were not wiped down. Silverware was dirty. The service was terrible and the food was even worse. Also pretty sure a rat shredded half of my straw. I wish I could give this 0 stars. read more

Worst service ever from the moment I walked in. They didn't attend me and we had to seat ourself. They took 15 minutes to notice us. We ordered appetizers off the top of our heads. Then 30 minutes later I had to ask for menus our selves. One hour later for food, even though they weren't busy. Don't think I'll ever return. read more

Seems like every time I go to Chili's, the food takes a long time, and then when it finally gets to the table, it's cold! This Chili's is no different. I had the Mango Chicken. Do they realize when you take cold Mango relish out of the fridge and put it on chicken, it will make the chicken cold? Letting it sit for another 10 minutes before serving doesn't help! My husband and I decided to get Chili's to Go for dinner. There was a gentleman in front of me had not been there before and was placing his order in the store. The young lady waiting in him was helpful and patient. When she got my order, her customer service was still wonderful. She bagged up my order and really was just lovely to deal with. I left a $5 tip for her, which it being take out I don't normally do. She really improved my night. Our food was really tasty and even better - I had a night off cooking and it wasn't fast food. read more

Went in for lunch. Ordered soup as a meal. It was brought out before the appetizer and the other meals. Asked the person who brought it out about this fact. A!so mentioned we had a 3 year old without food. She told us "i only have two hands". Appetizers came out 5 minutes later. Child's meal and other meals came out 10 minutes later. One meal was a sandwich and came with no bread and the wrong toppings. Didn't seem to be a problem to the server when we mentioned it. Very poor service at the bar area. When we got our food, I was going to cool down a chicken tender for my son and it was cold, had to reorder a batch and as I was getting to the center or my chicken the inside was cold. It was an awful experience!! Our waitress came to take the plates and before she left I asked for a refill on my strawberry lemonade and she passed by our table various times and my family got tired of waiting we walked out and left. Slow and really dirty. Bathrooms have not been cleaned for some time. At least 8 tables remain un bussed while they make people wait. Been here 1hour all we have to show for it is some greasy chips and salsa. Took 25 min to get a margarita on the rocks. Never again at this store. read more

I ordered the 1/2 rib meal with the "brisket" . Unfortunately , the "brisket was a sad looking piece of meat that I did not even attempt to taste . I notified Chili's regarding my dissatisfaction & they refunded my account within 7 + days . I am grateful for the refund but they should have also refunded my $ 4.00 tip . Terrible. Really really bad. I like Chilies and have had great experiences at other locations, but Tulare Chilis should be closed. The only reason they are still open must be from name recognition. This is my first bad experience at Chili's. The chicken nachos were not very good and if someone bothered to ask how my food I would have sent it back. The chips were burnt. I asked for extra jalapenos and didn't get any the 1st around, and when I asked again I got some but not extra. One person at my table ordered sour cream but didnt get it first time around. Oh...my hot sauce took a while to get too. My cousin is 8 and ordered the chicken sandwiches but got the hamburger sliders--the bun was hard and patty was burnt. The manager asked if she wanted something else and comped it. My other cousin's salad didn't come before the meal and we had to remind the waitress for it. My 13 year old cousin got the wrong soup as well. read more

Our server was really nice. We are big fans of chili's and were excited there was one nearby but our experience was a disappointment. The steaks were awful! They tasted like they were pre frozen, super dry and cold! It's very expensive considering the food. My broccoli was cold. The Mexican rice was tasteless. Definitely the worst chili's I've been too! To be seated took forever over 40 min. After ordering our food took twice as long.The food wasn't that great. the sides of broccoli that I ordered for my kids were raw.The steak I got was cold and tasted burned. Chili's - Nasty!! - Bars Near Me - Tulare, California

Food was good but the service sucks! I called hours ahead for a reservation of 10, we got there on time and they didn't even have our tables ready. Took 20 minutes for someone to come and ask for our drinks, took even longer to take our orders, u would think desserts would be faster to make but that took even longer. I felt bad for waitress since this is obviously not her fault but management really need to get their shit together, this is not the first time this has happened, will definitely NOT be coming back! read more

The waitress Jennifer is super helpful and always giving great service but every time she doesn't help my party I get mediocre service.
