I came in for a quick lunch, sat down got a menu and was asked what I wanted to drink , I ordered a large colors light. Two other patrons ordered two different margaritas after I did and the bartender proceeded to make both specialty margaritas both before pouring my beer, I waited 10 mins then eventually left. I placed an order for pick up. It was 2 trays of appetizers for a work party. It was a phone order placed 2 days ahead for pick up at 6:30pm on Jan. 3rd. At 6:26 pm I get a call from a manager telling me they don't have my order. I'm already there in the parking lot to pick up my order. I see a sign on the door that their grill is not working. I go inside and the manager tells me the grill hasn't worked all day. Why the hell wouldn't they call me earlier in the day so I could make other arrangements??? The manager was completely useless & just smiled and said sorry, we don't have a grill to do the sliders & we're out of chicken wings. So you didn't think to call me earlier so I could find another place to get the food or call and ask me if the order could be switched to another location for pick up. You suck at customer service!!! Been here several times, today I checked in ahead of time on YELP and only waited about 10 minutes on a really busy evening. My son and I got the 2 for $25 which includes an appetizer and dessert. My family has been to this location over several times since they opened. The restaurant is always cleaned and rarely packed. We always get good customer service from the different waiters/waitresses. The food is great. We are part of the rewards program, so im always getting coupons for stuff. My only complaint is the tables at the booths, they slide around a lot and it can be quite annoying. I definitely like coming to this location over the Rancho Cucamonga location. read more

Ordered the baked potato soup where all the ingredients are inside where the toppings usually come on the side for all their soups, I don't eat bacon so I could not eat it. On a typical tuesday evening: Never knew how it felt like to be cussed at and blamed by the waiter who did not write down my order. I asked for bone in wings, twice the order came out bone-less; at this point Jarone or Jaron gave me the look like it was my fault he did not right my order down. Then asked what i wanted again, at this point i waited nearly 45 mins after my order was placed i decided to eat whatever the wrong order was because my party was finished esting their entrees. Did him the favor of not having to go back in the kitchen, just to hear him huffing and puffing the f word and s word. I really wish I could give a better review. I've been here twice now, and won't be going back. I live nearby and always try to support local businesses. Unfortunately this Chili's needs to get their service together & quickly. The first time we went it was with a larger party (11 people). Service was really slow, but I let it go thinking it was due to our large group. Second time it was just my daughters and me. I happened to get a text when I walked in, so I know it was 7:03. We were seated right away. Ordered food and drinks together as we were hungry. At 7:40, we still had no food. Ordered tacos, fajitas & a flatbread. At 7:50, fajitas were delivered (no sides brought) with tacos and a sandwich. When we informed runner we hadn't ordered a sandwich she said oh that's what was entered. Then said she'd put in the order for the flatbread right away. 20 minutes later I finally found someone to tell them my daughter still had no sides for her fajitas. They brought out the most measly amount of sides I've ever seen! No beans/rice either. About 10 more minutes before the flatbread was brought out. Needless to say the rest of us were done eating. Finally I went to pull up the bill on the tablet. They showed two bills for our table. The original (which still had the sandwich on it) and the new one with the flatbread. I waited another 10 minutes trying to track down a waiter to ask them to remove the sandwich. I gave up at that point, paid the one bill with the sandwich on it and didn't pay the flatbread bill (which should've never been billed!) Needless to say my tip wasn't past the 10% mark. Man I was so excited when construction for this building site was finished. What restaurant will it be? BJ's? Buffalo Wild Wings? Olive Garden? Cheesecake?! (lol in my dreams). Out of all the franchise restaurants it could have been for all the people living around this area, it just had to be Chili's. What a serious disappointment and wasted potential for our community. But of course, it's unfair to judge so quickly without even trying to place. After all, chili's as a company seemed to be trying their best and even updated its logo recently. Our family gave it a shot with a supporting attitude. Last time we tried was more than 10 years ago; we didn't even know why we hated chili's and didn't remember what was so bad about it. Since it's so close to home, hopefully maybe we could be regulars. Hopefully, it was acceptable. lol. Nowhere near acceptable. It was the first week of their opening so of course we were lenient and more understanding.. But our waiter had this terrible stench. Was it his clothes? his hair? breath? who the hell knows but the smell was nowhere near faint and dominant whenever he was at our table. The service was as expected not good, they never brought crayons and everything came late and we had to ask our smelly waiter several times. The kid's cheeseburger didn't even come with cheese. We ordered some combo dinner plan and they overcharged us with the dinner plan as well as individually what comes with the dinner plan. the bill was $20 over and it took forever to fix and when we told them, they said they knew but I guess they weren't going to tell us lol. Hows the food? unbelievably salty. There's no flavor at chilis other than extreme saltiness. Dessert, margaritas, salad, soup, bread. Everything was salty beyond belief. What a waste of space. You know, we have been to this newer Chillis location a few times since it opened not that long ago. We continued to come back because the service at this particular location was always above average compared to most. Service is the main reason people come back to a chain restaurant, everyone knows that. So what the HELL happened this time Cody? We brought a party of 8 on Saturday afternoon. Light crowd, plenty of servers on hand. So you would think things would go well, WRONG!!!!!! After we were seated we were told we would have three servers for our group and then one came over and delivered their wonderfully prepared statement. Saying she was one of our servers but our main waitress will be there shortly. We never heard from her or the third alledged server from the grassy knoll again!!!!! Our main waitress came by and said it was her second day ( the exact person you would assign for a party of 8, come on Cody, really?) And she struggled to keep up. Now I get that she was new and I have no problem with that. But give the girl some support like your prepared statement said you would. Well the kitchen staff must be under Cody's management also because our food came over in delayed sections. Our 2 year old grandson was supposed to get a kids pepperoni pizza and they brought it without any pepperoni on it. Literally 25 mins later they brought the correct pizza. Great now we are all almost finished eating and we have to wait for a two year old to finish eating. The corn of the cob (which I love) I ordered did not arrive with my meal. It arrived 25 minutes later with my grand son's pizza. You know, if would have got my corn on the cob in a timely manner, I probably would never have written this review. You see Cody, even the simple things matter. Well, the manager Cody came over and asked how things went. I told him each thing that went wrong with our meal. All he said was " sorry......... sorry ........and sorry". Great, that made things better, thanks Cody for those heartfelt words. We will remember that the next time we come back......NOT!!!!!. Our server came over and apologized again ( at least she meant it) and I asked her if the manager was having a bad day. Didn't understand why we ended up with horrible service. First of all, everything started well. We were seated quickly and orders we placed in a timely manner. Approximate wait for reviving our food was about half hour. Let alone we beat the happy hour and dinner crowd. I'd asked two servers for napkins and never received them. The server came back with a drink that looked like plain ice tea. I mentioned the discrepancy to the server and she insisted its the same drink. I believe there should be consistency here. I've been anxiously waiting for this new chili's to open. I've been multiple times since their opening and the entire staff is wonderful! As with any new opening you can expect a few minor "hiccups" however, I've been pleasantly surprised since there has only been a few (my experience). I ordered the trio fajitas. I will stick with the barbeque ribs. The margaritas were good but lacked tequila, (management really need to look into that). Overall a good experience, will be back! I attempted to place a to go order online and the website would not allow it. I had to call my order in. The to go station is no convenient. You have to walk through the entire chilis in order to pick up your food. The food was amazing!! We ordered pork fajitas and did not have a high expectation, but we were highly impressed. We really enjoy this Chili's. Consistently good food and good service, especially the service from Hannah - she is over the top! They are receptive about special orders (i.e. no salt or having items on the side) which is nice because alot of restaurants don't like to give you your food the way you want it. The only small drawback is they are a little slow in the bar area clearing the dirty plates from your table and the bar itself sometimes has an overabundance of dirty glasses stacked up. read more

We have looked forward to this Chili's opening (we have been ordering our take-out from the Rancho location). This location is much closer; however, our first visit here was very disappointing. My husbands chicken crispers were missing the corn and the fries were cold. My grilled shrimp tacos were cold and missing one side. The side salad that was included came in a small styrofoam box and didn't have any tomatoes. We are used to receiving delicious side salads from Rancho served in a lovely plastic box. When we arrived our meal was not yet ready so the cold food was not our fault. The "To Go" Specialist was interacting with other employees instead of handling our business. We will be going to Chili's in Rancho instead. We have never had a problem with any orders at that location. Also, the parking for pick up orders in Rancho is immediately in front of the door for To Go orders - more convenient than Upland. read more

Less than stellar (or even average) customer service. I have experienced walking in to the designated "to-go" pick up area only to be met by no one and waiting around 8 minutes - with multiple employees walking by to get to the back portion without asking if I had been helped - until I was finally asked for the name of my order. 2. Disorganized - on another occasion I placed an order only to walk in and pick it up 15 minutes later to be told that they were out of what I had ordered and looked confused as to why I didn't know that citing someone should have called. I can understand that sometimes things get lost in the shuffle. But it was not busy at all and the worker did not seem to care much about the mixup. Jeezus. So, we walk in. There's a freakin' restaurant full of empty booths, and the hostess says, "Do you mind a half booth/half chair"? Why? Why would anyone do this? Ya, I get it, in 1/2 hour there are going to be parties of 4+ coming in for dinner. But, that's no excuse. I'm here NOW, and no, I don't want a chair. I want a booth. So, she seats us at a tiny booth right next to the kitchen. Of course minutes go by without anyone coming, even for a drink order. Finally waiter comes, he's not well trained, he doesn't know the menu. We order, and it takes freakin' forever for the food to come. My hot chicken club is cold. I told him I didn't want it, nor pay for it. Just such a lousy experience. The second time in two days I didn't leave a tip. And I NEVER do that. I seriously can't remember the last time I didn't leave at least some tip. And twice in two days? I'm not that heartless, usually. But sheez, what a suck-fest. read more
