For a party of 7, we got seated immediately despite the huge crowd waiting. There was a huge table waiting for us in the back! I'm not a fan of chain restaurants but trying Chili's out the first time did not disappoint. They had a variety of foods for everyone including a low calorie option like the Ancho Salmon that I ordered. The food was fresh, fast and surprisingly delicious. Service was quick catering to our large group. Because of this experience, I would dine at a Chili's again!

Hi, welcome to Chili's. This location is my go-to Chili's because it's so conveniently located and I've always had a great time coming here. First off, you can't go wrong with the 3 for Me deal getting you an app, drink and entre. The chips and salsa are the best in my opinion and endless. And the chicken crispers? I'm drooling just thinking about them. They are my favorite and I like getting them plain and adding the honey chipotle sauce on the side with some ranch to dip in that way they aren't soggy and stay crispy! I recently started trying to break out of my comfort zone and tried some of their other menu items. The Triple Dipper is a must and you can choose 3 items. I like the crispers, Big mouth bites and the mozz sticks. My last time here I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Fresh Mex Bowl. It was really good, but to be honest the portion size at the cost of $16 is pretty steep. As refreshing as it was, the portion was very underwhelming, so I won't be getting that again BUT if you want a healthier option that tastes good, I would recommend trying it. Their burgers are also good. The smash burger is a great price in the 3 for Me and has good taste. The portion size of the crispy chicken sandwich is HUGE, but the sandwich itself was a little lacking, but that was my experience. Chilis also has some great drink specials. $6 is a steal! And always a different theme drink every month. Service is always great as well! I've had a few different servers and they have always been very kind and attentive. Definitely recommend this location.

Overall, a bit too pricey for what was offered. We were excited to try the southwestern egg rolls, but it didn't meat the hype. The filling was very mushy without different textures. The fajita trio was very good, but also quite pricey and smaller than expected, considering. For the chips & dip, the chips were good and a very generous portion, but the salsa tasted like it was from a can. Not a bad experience, but we are unlikely to return.

I placed a pickup order for my child, who's absolutely obsessed with the Triple Dipper. While we've visited other Chili's locations before, this was my first time at the Upland restaurant. Right when I walked in, the place smelled amazing, and the cashier was very welcoming and friendly. However, once I got home and opened the container, I was disappointed to see how heavily seasoned the mozzarella sticks were. It was honestly overwhelming, I had to scrape some of it off because it seemed excessive and potentially upsetting for my child's stomach. I called and spoke with the manager, Christian, to share my concerns. He was very understanding and professional, and he handled the situation well. I appreciated how he resolved the issue

I want to take a moment to share how wonderful our recent visit was, thanks to Courtney. From the very beginning, she was welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was enjoyable. She consistently checked in on us, made sure our beverages were always refilled, and provided amazing service with a genuine, friendly attitude. To be honest, I was hesitant about returning to this location because of several poor service experiences in the past. However, Courtney completely changed that perspective. She made our visit so pleasant that I now look forward to coming back--and I truly hope to see her again on future visits. Thank you, Courtney, for turning our dining experience into such a positive one. Chili's is lucky to have someone like you on the team!

Exiting the 210 Fwy at N Campus, I met friend Ray for lunch, who generously treated me to tasty burgers. Thank you Ray! Due to time limits, we sat in the bar area and appreciated Tanya's efficient and attentive service. As rewards members, we received complimentary chips and salsa and selected the 3 for me value meal, including drink, starter, and main course. We picked the big smash burger, crispy chicken with fries and salad, and beverage. Overall, food and service by Tanya and hostesses were exceptional.

Came here for appetizers and drinks on a late night. It was nice and peaceful. The restaurant was clean and service was good. Our drinks and wings were pretty good. Overall it was a good experience!

I saved the receipt. Service was terrible. Management should be fired.

I found out about it through my cousin, who's a UCR alum, and I'm really glad I finally got to try it. The staff were super nice and attentive, constantly coming by our table to check if we needed more water, tortillas, or anything else we might want. Even with how busy it was, they still made sure everyone was taken care of, which I really appreciated. The restaurant was packed, and it actually surprised me because I don't usually see that many people at restaurants in Riverside. The energy inside felt lively but still comfortable. One of my favorite parts was the fresh tortillas. They come out hot and fresh from the oven, and you can literally watch them being made right in front of you, which made it even better. And the best part is they're free. We ordered the carne fajitas and chile relleno. The fajitas were incredible, the meat was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, with that perfect smoky sear that comes from being cooked fresh on a hot skillet. Everything came out sizzling and stayed flavorful with every bite. The chile relleno was also really good, with a nice balance of savory and slightly creamy filling that paired well with the sauce. It was actually my first time trying fajitas, and I can confidently say I'll be ordering them again the next time I come back. I definitely plan on returning while I'm still at UCR to make up for all the years I didn't know this place existed.

I guess with the theme of "homemade tortillas" they use them for everything including chips. Tacos hard shell, taste more like "flautas". Drinks are way "overpriced" for the size. How did HomeState, a restaurant celebrated for bringing an authentic taste of Texas to Southern…read moreCalifornia, become so beloved in a city synonymous with the LA street taco? Most people would point to its outstanding tacos, built on pillowy, made-from-scratch flour tortillas and comforting Austin-style Tex-Mex fillings. HomeState emphasizes slow-cooked meats, warm hospitality, and the welcoming food culture that Texas is known for. They are also well known for their perfectly seasoned eggs, making their breakfast tacos especially popular. I ordered two of their Anytime (Daytime) Tacos: the Picadillo (grass-fed ground beef, potatoes, carrots, cabbage slaw, and pickled jalapeños) and the Chicken (organic achiote-marinated chicken, cabbage slaw, and guacamole). The achiote-marinated chicken was exceptionally tender, juicy, and well-seasoned. The achiote gave the meat its signature deep-orange hue and subtle earthy flavor, while the generous portions of creamy guacamole and crisp cabbage slaw added freshness and a satisfying crunch. The Picadillo taco was equally impressive. The combination of seasoned ground beef, tender potatoes, sweet carrots, crunchy cabbage slaw, and tangy pickled jalapeños created a delicious balance of flavors and textures. A few generous dabs of HomeState's housemade hot sauces elevated it even further. The seasoned beef paired with the red salsa reminded me of a Taco Bell Burrito Supreme--but made with fresher, higher-quality ingredients, more texture, and a welcome kick from the jalapeños, all without the sour cream. These tacos do not hold together for very long, but that is largely because the fillings are so juicy and generously portioned. It was a trade-off I was more than willing to accept. The undisputed star of the meal, however, was the fresh flour tortillas. They lived up to every expectation--pillowy soft, perfectly thick, buttery, and incredibly fresh. They were not just a vessel for the fillings; they were the defining element of the entire meal and easily the highlight of my visit. To wash everything down, I ordered the hibiscus limeade. The refreshing blend of steeped hibiscus, fresh lime juice, and agave syrup struck a perfect balance between tart and sweet, making it an ideal companion to the rich tacos. Traditional LA street tacos will always define the city's taco culture, but HomeState has carved out its own loyal following by embracing something entirely different. When you are craving Austin-style Tex-Mex and some of the freshest, fluffiest flour tortillas you will find anywhere in Los Angeles, HomeState absolutely delivers. 4.5 stars

Unfortunately, this time the experience didn't quite meet my expectations. Don't get me wrong, the food wasn't bad. My disappointment was more about the value and portion size for what I paid. Three slices of brisket, a small cup of pulled pork, and three small sides came to around $60. Not to mention, the pulled pork was rather dry. There were no dinner rolls or cornbread included either. I was also disappointed with how the food was packed for my to-go order. Proper packaging is important, especially when transporting food, because leaks can make a mess in your car or elsewhere. Unfortunately, the packaging did not seem secure enough to prevent that, and it did not add much value to the overall experience. For that price, especially after making a 20-mile drive, I expected either a more generous portion or something exceptional enough to justify the cost. If the price had been more reasonable, or the quantity better matched the price, I definitely would have considered coming back. Unfortunately, at $60 for what I received, it just wasn't worth the drive for me.
