Small Mexican place, good for take out. Price to portion size isn't too bad. I usually get a large carne asada burrito and make it two meals, but I'm also not a big eater. I personally find their carne asada meat dry. It's not great, but also not terrible. They charge extra if you take too much condiments. What is considered "too much" is beyond me. If I'm ordering a lot I should be able to get the proper amount of sauces for each item, but they seem to think otherwise. They take debit/credit but will charge an extra .75 to the customer if that matters. read more

I used to come here so much and recently I came again the other week and the ladies are still the same ladies I think one is new but nonetheless the ladies are still snobby and have attitude while helping you , they rush you to order as well the meat quality as well has went downhill badly !!!! I called the day before a good 24 hours before to pick up the order at 515 the next saturday evening. I got there at 520 and they had no idea about the order and then started rushing to make it after they were told. They blamed it on the manager for not letting them know. I'm sorry but if you can't make large orders ahead of time don't give the option to? I've been coming here since I was a kid and it would not have been a problem if they weren't so rude about it. They spoke to me as if I was not the one understanding. Even after paying I asked them to repeat the order to me and she said "that's what the receipt is for" I said so what if it's not correct? Initially drove in complex to go to Nancy's Café I noticed a taco shop next-door being that it's Tuesday. I was like hopefully they have a taco Tuesday deal but they didn't , which is fine. I tried four carne asada tacos and the chili relano. Service was friendly. The two ladies who speak Spanish, but there was also a young man that helped translate and spoke perfect English . based upon previous reviews the meat is a little dry, almost like a Beef Jerky flavor I am texture but overall it wasn't too bad. This place is a hit and miss. In comparison to other places, prices are reasonable for what you get. We usually order the carne asada burritos/tacos. The carne asada are prepackaged from the bag and reheated, which I was not aware until I saw the lady open the packaged and reheated on her grill. They are not freshly made. Sometimes it's too dry, probably from being reheated too much throughout the day. Ordering a large all meat doesn't necessarily get you more meat, you're paying more for a burrito that is now just missing the rice and beans in it. As you can see from my photo the different size of the two burritos and yet the cost for an all meat is more. As for staff, depending on which lady is taking my order, there is 50/50 chance I will get someone that is annoyed with slight attitude while other times it's a friendly person. This place is small with limited counter seating. It can get busy and crowded during peak hours, particularly, lunch time, but service tends to be quick. I have ordered tamales here in the past, the masa was so dry, the meat was also very dry and lacking flavor. Have not ordered it again since. read more

I work at at Vineyard Barber and Beauty down on 4th street. I stop by here on my way back from the bank to pick up lunch for the boss and myself I get us #4 combos. The Fish taco plate, not only is it a great price it's always delicious. So far everything I've tried has been very good. I highly recommend this spot. The tortillas were fresh and cooked properly and the meat was nice and tasty. I'm always on the hunt for the best Mexican place in Rancho. I looked on DoorDash and saw this place and thought I'd give it a try. I ordered a few things to try out. - Carne Asada Fries - Large Al Pastor Burrito - 3 Al Pastor Taco Plate - Bean and Cheese Burrito Pros: - Prices are incredible. Every item was under $10. - Portions are huge. - They put the onions and cilantro in a bag on the side which is nice. Cons: - Flavors aren't all there. Items were kinda bland. - I asked for extra salsa on the side and they gave none. - The styrofoam containers they came in melted and left residue on some of the food so I had to throw it away. The taco plate was definitely the best thing. You could taste the flavor of the meat the most and the tortillas were very good. Next up I would definitely go for the carne asada fries. I really like the fries they use and the guacamole was good. This is the container though that melted so I had to toss most of it out. The burrito wasn't the best. It honestly tasted like nothing. Would 100% be better if there was salsa. Just needed some more flavor. Bean and cheese burrito was good! The beans are actually good. It did however say that there was onions, guacamole and sour cream included and there was not. Overall I would try this place out again. I ordered the sope combo and it was flavorless the beans were so watered down they were basically brown water and the salsas were as well so adding it on top to get more flavor did nothing.
