Plus they have some awesome different items on the menu as well like the tempura green beans (my favorite) and the new Avocado wedge tempura You can order online or in person or with the new kiosk which make it easy to take or add items. Tips: - Take advantage of the condiment bar area which is self serve. - Some of their sandwiches are a little greasy so watch out for what type of bread you choose. - sign up for their Habbit member club to receive special discount, complimentary burgers and early access to new items. As for someone who works with customers in a different field, I was really disappointed with the service I got from the guy cashier today, or I should say the service I did not get today, he is a younger hispanic guy who shaves his brows and that is the best I can describe him, shame on me for not getting his name since I walked away very upset!! Managers; how do you train your employees?? Do you train them to have full on personal conversations with other customers and ignore the ones who are waiting in line to order their food??? I am kidding you not, your employee was talking to a customer for about 5 minutes about personal things because I was able to listen to their conversations about taxes etc. Your cashier looked my way like 3 times and did not stop his comadre conversation to take my order, I had to interrupt and asked if he would take my order, and he is the one who got upset at me for doing that and had the audacity to ask me to calm down when I simply made a disapointed face, who wouldn't be!! He was rude, unwelcoming, and just very yucky as a person....Just an Advise; be nice, attend to us, service us.. at the end if the day, you are in business because of us, you get paid to service people not to go and have personal conversations with others when you have a line waiting to order their food, a lot of us don't have your time... Just a placed an order for pickup over the phone. AI took the order, however failed to mention that we cannot go through the drivethrough to pick up.... Good ol' AI..... The Drive Through Representative was clearly annoyed and upset, completely rude. When asked to speak to a Manager, I was left at the Drive Through Window for minutes..... Guess what? That was the Manager!! Clearly having a bad day, however in her chosen profession that involves face to face communication with the public, she needs to learn to keep her crappy emotions to herself, no matter what the situation is, leave it at home, leave work early or find another job!!!!! read more

To the 2 ladies and guy crew that worked 09/07 (Saturday) at 9:50pm.....THANK YOU!!! The store closes at 10pm and I was craving for a Double Char. I decided to take my chances and walked it. I asked one of the ladies if they were still available to take an order...she graciously said "of course!". I was able to see that they were almost done cleaning the kitchen for the night. The guy fired up the grill and another lady started working on my fries and onion rings (obviously...who has the Habit with no onions rings haha). They were quick and able to prepare the 4 burgers, 2 onion rings and fries super quickly. All of them were kind and friendly even though I know I probably delayed them from heading home on time. This Habit had customer service and great food, way better than the other locations!!!

We decided to finally try this place yesterday evening. It's a high-end burger joint. For the most part the food was very acceptable. The french fries were boring and dry. That could just be because there are better fries out there. I suppose they were healthier though. But here's my question: when I pay $10 for hamburger, why am I getting that oil based craft fake so-called American cheese on my burger? So my advice is go to the grocery store, buy a package of real cheese and order your food without their fake cheese. Other than that it was very nice, I just can't stand that vegetable oil fake cheese. read more

I've never had any issues at this location. The food, service and quality is always good. I always order on my app to go and have I've never dined in at this location, but the inside is clean and looks brand new. Also noticed right outside there's general seating with heat lamps which is really nice. Definitely recommend getting their teriyaki burger and the fried string beans. It also comes with ranch and never had any issues getting any extra ranch or sauces when I ask. I don't come here all the time, but always enjoy it when I do. read more

The food at this location is usually good, but the service needs improvement. Tonight, I ordered 2 burgers and iced teas using the app. When I got there to pickup at 8:45pm, they did not have any iced tea. They're open until 10pm. When I informed them that they were out of iced tea, the guy behind the counter said they had already stopped making it, and then turned away and continued working. No discussion, no suggestions, no offer to refund the drinks. Nothing. Basically completely ignored me. The problem is we don't drink sweet drinks or sodas, so this was not going to work. So I just threw away the cups and left. The Habit owes me credit for a regular and large drink, but I doubt that will happen. Too bad...I used to like this place. read more

I always have a great experience at this location. All went this go round too. Unfortunately this employee wanted his phone more than he wanted to help guest. He stayed on this spot. He don't notice he had a customer at the register and walked over still holding the phone in his hand just lowered it. He walked to pick up the trays over the trash cans with it, and back behind the counter. It was amazing to see this and no one from the team didn't pay him any attention. Yes it's a tech would, but this was unprofessional unless this location doesn't mind being on your phone. My food was tasty. read more

I have been coming to this Habit location bimonthly for about a year. There is an attitude that permeates the entire staff that is DGAF about customers. This is in stark contrast to other locations where team members go out of their way to make their location a positive experience. Tonight, the woman working as a cashier simply walked away from me after helping the woman that was in line before me. She stood at the left side of the grill area as if I didn't exist. I call to her for help and she strolls over with attitude and asks if I need something. Let's see, I was standing in line, I am now in front of a cash register under a menu. What could I want? (cue the Jeopardy music) She takes my order giving me a look like I am wasting her time. Then, she walks away not giving me my cup. I call her back and get it with yet another side of attitude. What is sad, is this attitude is held by the majority staff. Last summer, they had the A/C cranked down to freezer. My friend actually had to put on a jacket while it was in the mid ninety's outside because it was so cold. I am that guy from the Midwest who wears shorts in a snowstorm. To me, it was cold. After the third visit being frozen in there, I asked the manager if she could turn down the A/C to a temp normal humans find bearable. Nope, I was told we don't do requests. Tonight, between taking out the trash and what appeared to be the pest control team, they kept leaving the back door open freezing guests with a strong cold breeze. When you looked at staff working in the kitchen, they were wearing jackets. Is this their way of keeping customers from loitering? Now, when I pick up the order, I ask for two ranch dressing cups. I am told anything more than one is $.65. This is odd, I frequent a location near my work and they have never been charged for an extra cup of ranch. When green beans, fries, onion rings , etc. are $4 to $6, giving an "extra" cup of sauce that in today's restaurant costs about $.15- $.20 for 1 oz, it will not break a solid business. What was truly annoying was the entire time we were sitting at our table eating, the unhelpful cashier had an annoyed puppy look every-time she looked at us. At one point, I considered getting up and asking her if she had crapped her pants because of her facial expressions vacillated between mad dog and what is that smell in my pants. It was getting really really late; almost 7:20pm. Staff pulled the iced tea containers for nightly wash. Considering they close at 10pm, this is an F.U. to customers. I can see pulling them around 9pm, any earlier is just the staff trying to go home ASAP. As for food, it was meh. Between the random extra charge for ranch, freezing temperature, lack of a tasty beverage, and the mad dog queen, I am done with this location. YMMV, as this experience was not abnormal for me. This how this location is managed and employees are trained. Hit the In-n-Out or The Hat close to this location for a better experience. read more

Food was late like 20 mins with not calling my pager and when I told them it's cold, the manager told me you started to eat it already!! Ordered for delivery. Food showed up 30 minutes early and was very hot and fresh. The salad was huge! A lot of food for the price. Everything was delicious. Not happy at all. I just called to speak with a manager and I was told I had to go to their website and fill out a contact form. The guy on the phone was of zero help and didn't act as if he could have cared less. I went to the website but I couldn't figure it out. This is way more work then I wanted. I just want my money back for my gross food. I am so upset right now that I don't even want to go inside another Habit Burger to get my money back. I have multiple chronic illnesses and it's not easy for me to do things like this. I have already decided I am no longer going to buy food from there again. They always mess my order up anyways. I don't know why I wasted my time trying to go back there. I should have learned my lesson from the last time I went to get food there. I am very unhappy to say the least. EDIT: I just called to again to insist I speak with a manager and I was placed on hold. The employee then came back on the phone after two minutes to tell me that they get a high call volume at this store and that me being on hold is, well, holding up other callers. Duh! I was calling first. I should have priority over the other callers. Then the employee told me she would have to transfer my call to consumer support. She did and then I had to listen to the prompts and other useless information that I don't need right now. I had to leave a message! At this time I have wasted at least four hours out of my day from leaving my house, ordering my food, waiting for my food, driving home, calling them, trying to figure out their website, calling back, leaving a message and finally now leaving this review. I understand people are starving in other parts of the world and I help them when I can but today was supposed to be a celebratory meal and it has completely turned my day upside down. I am unhappy. The first time we ate at this particular Habit was in 2015 so fast forward to March 2019! This is honestly my favorite Habit! I'm only comparing this location to the one in Rancho Cucamonga, Glendora (by Costco) and in Rosemead and a couple others I ate at. By now, I know their burgers and fries are awesome. Parking at this location is never an issue. My husband and I don't even order the burgers anymore as we're just addicted to their salads. The one in Glendora never fills the bowl up and we're able to finish the whole thing and are left hungry by the time we get home. Honestly, customer service is awesome here. They messed up once because they forgot to put in our online coupon before we paid, but they made up for it by giving us 2 coupons. Service has always been fast when ordering. They have a large outdoor seating area that they share with Chipotle and the others. We sometimes bring our dog with us. Last but not least, when we order salads here (fave is the Super Foods salad, Santa Barbara Cobb or their new Southwest BBQ chicken salad), they really pile it on. The last two times we ate here, I couldn't even finish it. Upgrading my review from 4 to 5 Stars for this location. read more

They actually commented "I am sending an email to you right now"...twice but the email never was sent. What started out to be a nice lunch with my husband and daughter quickly turned to crap when we went to place a To Go order for my other kids who stayed home. On the first transaction I used an offer from my app for a burger. We ate and I went to do the take out order and wanted to redeem another offer from my app only to have a message come up saying that multiple offers can not be redeemed in a single visit. No where in the info for the offer is anything stated about multiple offers. Well, so here's where the whole transaction went to s*** and I should have walked out! "Manager" Armando (at least he said he was the manager, by his attitude and lack of customer service experience one would wonder if he really is) was a complete ass and I should have told him to shove his food up his you-know-what! Armando told me that he had no way to override the register and that if the app didn't provide a barcode then there was nothing he could do. I reiterated that the offer didn't say anything about multiple offers and had I know I would have ordered everything as one transaction. Again, Armando said there was nothing he could do! Again, I didn't believe him because as a manager there is always something that can be done to satisfy a customer. Again, I should have left! Bottom line, IF Armando really is a manager he should be FIRED! There is a reason I haven't been to a Habit and the one at the Colonies in particular. Love the Habit Burger in San Dimas, however, I wont be returning to the one in Upland. The employees were so rude, our burgers were put together so sloppily that we could barely eat them! Delicious burgers, but we were traveling and ate in the car. The insides were wrapped up as much outside as inside. The Brussels sprouts had great flavor but they were not hot, I'd guess they were just leftover scraps. I ordered on the app and when we pulled up to pick up curbside after waiting over 10 months decided to go in, there was no one in front of me so I walked right up, no wait, so wasn't very busy. To compound matters I paid with a credit card and when I asked for a refund they were unable to put the money back on my card. They said if I wanted a refund I had to take cash. I felt like a low criminal taking money from their register. It was the worst experience ever. Now I have some 16 dollars and change I have to find something to do with as I do not carry cash. I love The Habit but this location has been lacking the last few times I visited. In the recent months they have been out of French Fries on one occasion and then visiting last night, they were out of Ketchup. How does a burger restaurant run out of Ketchup and French Fries? Ordered a Tri Tip Steak Sandwich on Ciabatta Bread and an order of Fries. I've had the sandwich many times and it normally comes cut in half, this time it wasn't, which was an annoyance because I was splitting the sandwich with someone. Normally that wouldn't be a problem if I was eating inside the restaurant, but since everything is to go because of COVID-19, it was an annoyance. The sandwich didn't taste as good as it normally does, the ciabatta bread was soggy, usually it's toasted & crispy. The fries were soggy as well. The whole meal was off. I'm surprised. In the past, I've usually have had a great experience at The Habit. This location, I will not be returning. read more

We went to Habit Burger Grill last night and ordered 2 char burgers with no onions, and 1 fry. We took it home and since the fries were sitting on the counter for 7 mins exactly before our burgers were done, they were cold and hard. The burgers had onions, which I am allergic to onions, so I had to throw the burger away. Tried to call Habit Burger and talk to the manager, they said they have no manager and to go online. Of course could not get any manager that way Very disappointed in the service. All employees that were there were goofing around and laughing and joking with each other.
