Let me start off by saying I've never in my life have experienced something so unprofessional in my life. Yesterday may 20th 2024 me and my sisters went to chillis in Vacaville to start off they didn't seat us we were told to seat ourselves, we sat at the bar and we noticed it was dirty so we asked the waitress to wipe down the bar area for us which she used a dirty rag which didn't smell pleasant so we asked if she can use cleaning product she then went to the back which the manager came to the front and brung out air freshener which wasn't going to do a thing we just wanted a clean surface to eat our food we then asked to move our seats we set in a booth which was also dirty so we cleaned it ourselves we sat down ordered our food my burger was overly salty to the point I tasted straight salt I told our new waitress and she walked straight to the back to the manager came back and asked if I wanted something different but at that point I was over it so I told her no thankyou and she took my food off the bill ... when it was time to pay we asked for the bill she pointed to a kiosk and said we pay here we told her we had cash she proceeded to say "leave it on the table and you are good to go " we did just that walked out as we walked out the manager walked out from the back of the restaurant approached us and said "are you ladies going to pay your bill" which we were very offended he then accused us again when he realized we paid he didn't apologize at all . Over all I rate coming from a food critic and someone who's worked in the food industry that restaurant is a 0 out of 10 customer service is outrageous I see why there closing down . read more

Service here is terrible. I really dislike how slow they are. Ever since those dang iPad order things. Also their cups smell like clorox. Be sure to use a straw. Just finished eating there with my family and my stomach is upset. I have a damn near iron clad stomach. I had the steak fajitas along with the guacamole and chips. Not sure what it cold be. Also my wife ordered her stake to be medium well, and they gave to her medium rare. Sent it back and it gets back still too pink. 2 tries. Terrible. I think they are part of the same company of Applebee's. If you can avoid it, I recommend you don't eat here. read more

My wife and I frequent here and the server Pat is absolutely fantastic. He remembers what we order for food and drinks and asks if we want the usual or want to mix it up. Fantastic service and great food. My wife and I typically get the Fajita plater with three items and order a second topping boat and tortillas. We love it. We like the mango teas with extra syrup and Pat brings us a bowl of the syrup to add to our drinks. Thanks for such making great date nights for my wife and I. read more

Had the most horrible experience eating there this evening. First had to wait about 10 minutes so I could get a regular menu because you can only get a full menu on your phone. Next we waited forever just to order our drinks and one required a straw but he never came back. So we walked over and got one ourselves. We finally ordered after waiting 25 minutes or more. During this time I'm noticing how dirty the benches and tables are , the plexiglass between the tables are just gross. Then we walk into the bathroom and I lost it. There was shit, literally shit in the sink and on the counter. This place has never been so dirty and poorly ran. I will never be returning after tonight. Had dinner Fri. nite around 9:30pm - after waiting across the street at BJ's Brewery - and couldn't wait any longer! Was it the chilly rainy nighttime weather ... I don't know, but 3 of us ordered different burgers and were very very very happy! It wasn't what or where we had planned to eat, but was great after all! Service was good, if a bit intrusive - well, we were here after a vigil service and needed to chat with each other - could wait staff listen for 3 seconds to see if it's a good time, if anyone looks their way, or if we don't look at them, because we don't want to be interrupted just then. I know, I'm picky. Please, wait staff should discuss private lives with each other away from our table...other than that...staff attentive and responsive! read more

I can't say much for Chili's full menu b/c I haven't had an entree from there in years, but we do like to frequent Chili's for their all day happy hour on Sundays in the bar. They have some pretty good deals on half portioned appetizers and the $3.50 house margarita's are pretty spot on. Their $5 mango and blackberry margaritas are mighty tasty too. The bartender usually makes them strong enough to be worth your while. So far we've tried the happy hour portioned nachos (pretty good), texas cheese fries (really good) and their southwestern eggrolls (awesome, but I've always liked these since highschool). Prices range from $3-$5 an appetizer. Service has always been friendly, not too attentive, but they don't ignore you for periods on end. read more

Sorry but the service I just received is sad. The server was too busy to even look at you while he took the order. Another person brought everything out and tried to handle the table but that wasn't even any good! Never got stuff we asked for or refills! The food was mediocre! The lettuce on the chicken sandwiches was like wilted lettuce. Not all was bad but two meals out of five is not even worthy! Ridiculous we sat out front waiting for 15 mins with no one to come up and seat us we came in at 8:50 and yes we understand they close at 10 but we were prepared to tip well and eat fast just a party of two me and my wife, someone could of at least had the decency to tell us they weren't excepting anymore people rather then get a bunch of awkward stares from at least 6 employees yet not one had the decency or courage to greet us rather then have us embarrassingly stand there absolutely ridiculous i would recommend a customer courtesy course for better training or just one employee that has the courage to tell someone they are no longer seating. First of all My family loves Chili's. Dining at this chilis was a terrible experience. The bathrooms were disgusting. Urine all over the toilets all over the floor. No toilet seat covers and i am disabled cannot squat/hover over the toilet. The tables were gross. The waiter wiped the table down with a dirty rag. She didn't spray the table with any type of disinfectant. The place needs to be cleaned it has a weird smell. The staff are understaff but that doesn't mean i should get cold food. I left the waitress a good tip because she did a solid. The quesadilla salad I got was a joke. While the chicken was tender the quesadillas were just cheese and tortillas, the lettuce was old and limp, the corn salsa tasted like thousand island dressing. It was busy, and I understand we are just getting back into the swing of life. My onion petals were really good, but my meal was such a disappointment and service was dreadfully slow. This is my fourth time here in three months. Today we sat in the bar had a beer and ordered take out. Service, beer and wait time was not bad. The salsa, my favorite was less then desirable watered down and the chips were broken little pieces. Both burgers were very oily and cold. The fries, also a favorite were also cold and flavorless. The salmon was very good but the broccoli was bland. The entry has a funky odor and in need of a good chemical cleaning. I'm happy to drive to any other chili's until this local restaurant changes its standards. My bill was just under $50 for two burger, salmon, 2 drafts with chips and 1/3 of this ended up in the garbage. read more

Delivery did not work out well. Ordered through the yelp ap because I'm home recovering From broken ribs. Ordered around 5. Got a call at 5:30 saying that the order specified Saturday. I was with my 3 daughters and signed up for a seat even if there's an hour wait. We decided to just a curb side pick up. After I sent my order they called us for our seats. I let them know I just ordered online and we would like to eat the food inside. They said no we can't. We have to wait for our curbside order and can't seat us even if we were on the list for dine in. I find that ridiculous. I would have cancelled my order if my daughters weren't hungry. If 0 stars was an option, that's what I'd give it. We used to love going to this Chili's. In fact, it was our Friday night spot because we loved the service we got from the bartender, Nikki. After Nikki left, we had nothing but bad experiences. The service is horrible, even at the bar. We have to always flag down someone for a drink refill. And now, the food comes out cold and the portions are small. My favorite was the Southwestern Egg Rolls but those are half the size they used to be. The final thing that makes me write this review and decide to never return was that twice, I ordered delivery online and TWICE I received a message that my order was cancelled by the restaurant, 10 minutes after placing it. The reason listed was because the restaurant was closing early; on both a Friday and Saturday night?! If you can't fill delivery or pickup orders, remove it from your site! First of all restaurant was filthy and majority of staff were not wearing masks during this pandemic. The host seated the two people in front of us right away. We asked for a seat in the bar and we were told they would clean one up and seat us quickly. While waiting he sat 4 sets of different customers at other tables. I asked when we can get our table and he told us to take "that one" a table that was already cleaned when we got there. After a very long wait our server, the bar tender finally took our order but didn't come back with our drinks because she was too busy socializing at the var and we only order a glass of wine and beer from the tap. Our table was situated to where the employees would walk back and forth from the kitchen. We had to corral one just to get two glasses of water and he never brought them. We asked another waitress because ours got lost In a black hole never to be seen again. We only saw her when we finished and had to locate her to pay for our bill. As we were eating we had a scenic view of a male employee with his underwear hanging out sitting at the drinking a beer listening to music with his ear pods then going back into the kitchen after finishing his beer. I have been to many Chili's and this is by far the dirtiest and worse service I've ever had. I was tempted to leave a $1 tip but the human in me left $6 which was 5 dollars too much. Came to the restaurant with two seniors for a birthday waited in the lobby for 5 to 10 minutes before anybody even talk to us. Finally when the hostess did speak to us she said I'll be right with you. 5 minutes later. I'll be right back. Restaurant was not half full and just terrible attention to customer service. I want to thank Emily our server for the great service. Although we had a small issue with our food, Emily took care of it immediately and replaced one of our meals. Came here and ordered bone in buffalo wings "WELL-DONE " and they were delicious !!They were prepared by "JOSH"...that boy got DOWN on those wings !! Lol..I ordered Two dozen for me !! Ask for Josh to prepare your wings, and give him a tip , lol . I also ordered a Burger ( Not so great ) lol and fries with "NO-SALT ".... The fries were delicious !! They need to pay attention to cleanliness, it could be cleaner if you ask me, It wasn't dirty, but they still need to keep it cleaner, the bathroom needed attention, as well. It wasn't clean. The food has REALLY improved... everything we ordered was presented well and tasted great... i ordered the steak and shrimp fajitas and it really was good... fresh, seasoned well, flavor was amazing, healthy portions... i also had the spinach queso which was addicting, creamy, nice addition of guacamole and pico on top... i am actually looking forward to going back for both...everything that came out looked like the pictures in the menu... the burgers are beautiful ... stacked high, you can see all the ingredients... i was throughout impressed... I stopped going to Chili's years ago because the food was lack luster but they really have turned a new leaf... food and drinks came out fast but didn't seem rushed or thrown together at all... and can't forget to mention customer service.... HALEY WAS AWESOME! She never missed a beat from the time we sat down to the time we walked out.. she was so sweet, warm, so accommodating... something about her seemed super genuine ... i haven't had customer service like that in a while... so refreshing... Love this place, always fast service, love that everyone seems to be helping one another out, server is always attentive when we come here. We feel very taken care of! They have a special margarita every month and a bunch of different beers on tap at all times (12 I think!!). The blueberry pineapple margarita is my favorite, the bartenders know their stuff! The menu has a ton of options, various meats, low calorie items, vegetarian and gluten free options. And the chocolate molten is the perfect end to a meal. YUM. read more

I will never come back. This was my second time coming and my first time wasn't so great either. Our server was nice, but didn't come back to check on us. We had to ask a different server to get her for us. Tonight I drank the spicy jalapeño margarita and couple bites of the Caribbean salad and started feeling strange. The shrimp was gray, slimy and cold. I don't even think it was cooked. I was given a refund for the salad I was unable to eat and I appreciate that. This place needs better service and the cooks need to make sure food is properly cooked to avoid food illnesses. I hope I don't get sicker. read more

We were forced to eat here last night when meeting half way between Sacramento and Fairfield, and we ran out of time and energy, and available options. It was open, they had tables, we took one. We were seated and the tables were dirty and sticky, covered with the fat-sauce-beer ooze from prior diners. Got that wiped off (on request) and we settled in. I ordered a burger and asked for the menu-described sauce on the side and had barely finished that request when the waitress sighed deeply and rolled her eyes at me. I stopped talking and instantly said "Oh, is that a problem for you?" She realized she'd been a little less than cool with a simple request and said "Oh no! Sure sure I'l ask!" and then went overboard being cheerful (tip on the line?) After our meals were served, we spent 2 minutes trying to flag her down to get cutlery. Another server noticed and alerted our server to the fact that gee, we could sure use a fork. And a napkin. The mini hamburger was actually fine, but the included onion strings were ICE COLD. I understand it was a harried and frenetic night (pay day for all on April 1) but sheesh, get it together. Awful place. Awful food. We knew the risk when we took it. read more

I want my money back, money back, money back .... Never again will I eat at a Chili's! I was on a lunch break and it was close by, but I left both unsatisfied and a bit irritated. Our server was friendly, but she forgot about us after a while. I had my empty beverage mug sitting on the edge of the table, in clear sight, for at least 10 minutes without a refill. The service isn't what got Chili's a two-star rating. The food, while edible, was one of the most laughably horrible meals I've ever had. I ordered the Cajun Pasta, which was described as "penne pasta with creamy Alfredo sauce and Cajun spices." Instead, I got penne pasta with watery, flavorless Alfredo sauce and no Cajun spices whatsoever. I could see a few grains of pepper here and there, but not one hint of "Cajun" flavor." The meal came with one half-burnt, half-soggy piece of garlic toast (the exact same Texas Toast you buy frozen at Sam's Club) with chewy, bland chicken charred to an oblivion. To top it all off, the meal was $11.50 but did not include soup or salad! My sister ordered the Smoked Turkey sandwich, which turned out to be one slice of Oscar Meyer-esque deli turkey, one slice of provolone cheese and a dab of mayo on a plain wheat bun. When she lifted the bun off the top of the sandwich, she laughed! To add to it, the salad that accompanied her meal featured brown, unappetizing lettuce. The total cost of our meal: $24.78. All for two embarrassingly awful entrees, two drinks, and two very unsatisfied, ripped-off consumers. After leaving Dickeys because they didn't have any meat to sell, we crossed the street and hit up Chili's. We sat in the bar and since there was a baseball game on the TV it was considered to be Happy Hour-how cool is that! Unfortunately we were working so we didn't take advantage of happy hour :) We did order the artichoke dip and pretzels with cheese sauce. In addition chips and salsa were free during happy hour. The artichoke dip was hot cheesy and good. The pretzels were too salty for me, but my companions enjoyed them. I ordered a burger which was pretty good. The portion was large and the onion straws added a nice crunch. While their is nothing special about Chili's at least they had more than pulled pork available to sell and provided us with great service to boot. read more

A few years back my wife and I were stopping in here on a hot summer day as we were driving through Vacaville. It happened that my wife ended up slipping on vomit from some kid that we didn't see. Now, that isn't the restaurant's fault, but how the reacted was just horrible. They never said sorry, instead telling my wife that flip flops are really not good footwear (when it's 100 degrees outside). They were obviously worried we'd sue them, which we had no intention to do and didn't do. Still, I'll never eat there again because of how they treated us. read more

I'm only giving them 2 stars because the manager came to our table to try and set things straight. The food was so gross! Anything on our plates that should have been warm was cold. If it should have been crunchy, it was soggy. If it should have been tender, it was tough. The margaritas had little or no tequila. At some point, someone started spraying the tables next to us directly in our direction and on to our food. There were two people at the bar who were completely drunk and out of control. The reason this received three stars is because it is a great location located on a great corner and easy access. The drinks were cold and plentiful, the bar is a good size for this type of restaurant. However I must save the bad and the neutral with the good. The neutral is the service was good and very fast the bartender remember what you ordered and what your request where. Your food did come fast. And your drinks are refilled pretty quickly. The good thing is is that it is not too loud in here. So on a date or with a friend out and about you probably would not have to yell at each other across the table. Now for the bad. My food came out horrible. My fries were twice cooked and warmed up. My chicken wings were soggy and we cooked and also a little hard as if they were overcooked and then cooked or warmed up once I was served. Next thing I know my drinks had bugs in them. I know that's not a lot of people at the bar order dark drinks will my drink was a tall order and almost clear and there were bugs. I notified the bartender about it she emptied it out put in new ice did not apologize and served me another drink. I was very quiet and subtle when I notified her about the condition of my drink. But I believe she thought I was coming for freebies or complaints. It is rare that I complain. But I was at an opportunity to where I can pay attention to my surroundings. I hope no one else experiences these things and it was just a bad night with bad ice and a bad cook. Which negates coming to a restaurant. Best of luck I will definitely give this place one more chance. And I will leave a review on my next opportunity. It is family friendly this is a great location. But please clean the bathrooms more often. read more

i came here for a birthday lunch. and boy was i disappointed in my meal -_- first off, i couldn't find this place because vacaville is known for their outlets. I thought chili's was on the main side but nope, it was on the other side of the freeway! -__- it took me about 45 mins just to look for the restaurant! T_T my friends were already waiting for me, so right when i got there we ordered. we all ordered the 2 for $20 plus an appetizer. I got the ribs -- i have to say it wasn't that good at all. when the ribs came out it didn't look appealing at all. the meat was DRY and it was drenched with bbq sauce. very disappointed. -_- i should have gotten the chicken salad or something! service was alright, but i felt like we were rushed with the food and the check. sheesh. anyways, they helped us with the cake, which was nice of them. i don't think im going to come to Chili's again. read more

This place sucks! Chili's is typically one of my favorite restaurants but the service, the food, and the facilities are all nasty. We came here because our darling family bought us gift certificates. After we wore them out I think we made the mistake of coming back for the margaritas. It is not worth it, even if you have a menu favorite (find a comparable item at another restaurant). The hostess doesn't greet you, seats are commonly empty and there's typically a wait, the wait staff is so bitter about the automized ordering system that they think they can get away without having to do their job. Their tables are almost always dirty. The other patrons got treated like poo as well so they're just as nasty. The entrance is inconveniently on an awkward side of the building. Parking sucks. The chips are greasy... I'm just whining now, but ultimately this place sucks! read more
