My husband and I have been meaning to stop by and try this restaurant for some time now. Parking is in the back, just a heads up. We decided to sit outside because it is quite small inside. You can just grab your own menus and seat yourself. We started with the micheladas with Negra Modelo which were very delicious and ordered a molcajete mariscada and campechana. Both were amazing and very filling. The prices were reasonable and luckily it wasn't very cold outside that day. I'd say the only downside of out visit was that their were two televisions outside and on a Sunday during football season, they were not on or music playing just to give it a little ambiance during our meal. This is your typical mexican restaurant. There are only probably 5-6 tables inside but they have outside patio seating. Value: My wife ordered tacos for 4$ a piece. she liked the flavor, quality and serving size. I ordered a super burrito which was around 16$ which i think is a bit pricey. So the value can be a hit or miss depending on what you are getting. Location: there is a parking lot behind the restaurant which probably can accommodate around 10 vehicles. No public bathroom available inside. Kitchen is somewhat open so you'd see how they prep your food. Service: During our visit, there was only one girl working and she is friendly and busy. No complaints on this one. We didnt have to wait for our order to be taken and food to be served. I deducted a star for the value for your money and another star for cleanliness. Im not saying it is filthy but can definitely work on making the restaurant a little more presentable, neat and appealing to the eyes. It's one thing to make a mistake, but to charge someone's card way more than they owe and then not want to fix it is basically stealing. I'm new to Fairfield from the bay area, so I'm used to have good food options all around me, especially for Mexican food, and I was not expecting much when I moved up here, but this truck exceeded my expectations and gave me the assurance I needed that I have a good option for Mexican food. I have passed by this taqueria many times and have seen their food trucks everywhere . I stopped in today for a quick Michelada and it was probably the tastiest one I have ever had. It is spacious inside which I didn't expect and has a very authentic feel. The menu is outstanding so many options and great prices ! We live in Vacaville but this will be our new go to Mexican food spot. The patio looks nice but it was raining so we will be back to enjoy it in the summer. Stop by here and check it out. Went here on a Monday night. The place was not very busy. Upon arrival we were greeted by a young lady and were told to pick a table. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating looks very nice. They have televisions and good music playing. A friend and I decided to get a molcajete. These are spicy but you can ask to have it not too spicy. The portions are huge and you get rice and beans on the side with tortillas. The food came out fairly quick and it was delicious. Customer service was great very attentive to our needs. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the restroom is behind the restaurant and they have no soap dispenser to was hands, so it makes me wonder how employees are washing hands before returning to work, other than that I would most likely return and definitely recommend. read more

This is our favorite Mexican food spot in Fairfield and surrounding areas for Quesabirria tacos and their Molcajetes. Their consome is to die for. Their Molcajetes earn their name, the cactus and sauce is amazing, as well as their huge pieces of carne asada. They can be a hit or miss at times, with the food or service, I would say 90% of our experiences here are good. I think they just changed up their salsas, which are good. My son had the chicken burrito last, he liked it, I tried it and did not, the chicken in it was dry and bland. We are tired of disappointment with surrounding Mexican food spots so come here for to avoid that. La Donna is our second favorite spot in the area. read more

While I always order this on doordash with absolutely no problems, and the food is often the best in town, the service itself is always horrible. It's always understaffed, despite the lack of customers, as the staff themselves are often behind on orders, and delivering orders. You almost have to beg the workers to do their job. In addition, the food itself is usually good, but unfortunately, the lazy waiters allow for food to get cold, and often neglect the customers. Usually, the horchata is very solid, but it's been more powdery and lackluster lately. No joke, it took twenty minutes to get my horchata, and it was still as if it had been made from a packet within a minute. To charge $5 for something that's water and powder mixed is abhorrent. It wasn't even fresh... If you are ordering takeout, it's not that bad. If you're actually sitting and enjoying a meal, don't do it. It's honestly kind of a hole-in-the-wall place, and it lacks familiarity. You either have people acting really loud and drunk over the music and ads, or blasting mexican music. Revising my previous positive review due to terrible customer service on my last few visits. All of their servers act like they hate their job and don't want to be there. Came in for lunch today. I was the only person there and a simple burrito took 20 minutes to get to the table. There were also zero to-go pick ups while I was as there. No greeting, just here's your menu. No check in to see how everything is. No water refill,even though she spent 10 minutes cleaning windows 5 feet away from me as I loudly sucked the last bit of water from my cup. Then when she clearly sees my plate is empty and pushed to the side,she proceeds to go inside and clean the windows on the other side. Finally after waiting another 10 minutes with my debit card prominently displayed on the table, I gave up and went inside to the register. Then the other server, who was right next to the register and had no other customers, failed to ring me up but instead called the first server over to do it. Again, she took her sweet time getting there. No smile. No thank you. No how was everything. No eye contact. Nothing. They've got great food but they really need to fire the entire serving staff and start over. I'll stick to Jarritos from now on. Their food is execellent, more affordabke, and they have much better customer service. You lost a very good tipping customer today. read more

This place use to be 5 stars in my eyes, but today we ordered super nachos and it feels like they gave us a box full of chips. Hardly any meat, beans, cheese, pico or guac. Didn't know the portion of chips was 90%. Called their restaurant and they said they put the appropriate amount of meat and other stuff to the super nachos. It's an old Taco Bell building, they did a nice job with the Patio & furniture, and inside had adequate ventilation as I waited for my order I noticed nicely varnished tables inside. I ordered a Chile Relleno plate with refried beans and rice, chips & salsa, and 3 Asada Truck tacos. The rice was excellent had tasty cooked carrots in it, the refried beans are made with a different type of bean not pinto, bean portion was tiny like 1 teaspoon, the Chile Relleno had a flavor from the oil that I didn't care for, and didn't want piled lettace, tomato, and Avacado on top of my relleno. bc for $18.99 it should be a choice, a relleno doesn't typically come covered with lettuce, but I do understand that foods are regional. The tacos were excellent and the spicy salsa was fabulous. read more
