Decent service even for a super bowl night. Sat in the bar/lounge area and had pretty consistent service. Much better than our previous night service in San Ramon (boo). Order the queso we wanted and it arrived nearly magically quick. Assuming they expected demand and planned ahead. Chips were good on top and trash on the bottom, but the server quickly refreshed them at our request. Meals ordered and came quickly as well.. Fried cheese had more to be desired.. not sure if they were over cooked or freezer burned. We let if slide since everything else worked out pretty good. read more

They've added these terrible tablet devices to every table. The idea is drink, appetizer and paying of the bill convenience. We might as well just go pick up our food from the kitchen too, then we would t have a need for a waiter or waitress either. These flashy devices only cause problems with kids at the table and they don't tell you they charge for the games to be played until it is time to pay the bill. We won't be back. read more

The only reason I am giving this restaurant 4 stars is because of the staff!! The food was mediocre compared to other Chili's that I have been at! However the service was first rate!!!! The entire staff is very young, in that the manager, the host, the wait staff all had to be under 30 years old, however they went above and beyond the call of duty!! Amy was our server and she was extremely apologetic about the wait, the poor quality food, the drinks, etc..and the manager (I think his name was Victor) was appreciative of our comments...they were short staffed and the host even bussed our table himself, so that we could get seated right away! 01/18/2019 Date night with me and my sweetheart. Ordered appetizer and drinks for the two of us...off to a good start. After 30 minutes and flagging down waitress, ordered meal and another round of drinks. Once the meals arrived, the burger was so raw (blood red) and greasy it soaked through the bun and tore apart once I picked it up. Sweetheart ordered Southwestern soup, they ran out so they brought her to bottom of the barrel and sprinkled some cheese on it. Guy from kitchen said we are going bring you another bowl of soup because we ran out...just ask waitress. I pointed to my burger when the waitress came back (still no beer) and she said, ohh, it's raw...I will bring you another one. After another 30 minutes with no burger or beer, I cashed out and left. The waitress was awful, talked way to much to other guests and didn't bring our drinks or get our food order right. This was a complete disaster. 2 beers, bottom of barrel soup, raw burger, poor service for 32 bucks? No thanks! read more

I'm really surprised to see their overall rating is 2 stars. We've been going there for over 15 years and really like it. We start with chips and salsa. Then my husband usually gets the Texas Cheese Fries as his entree. I have to say I love getting their Triple Dipper appetizer as my entree too. Everything is so good. The service here is terribly slow. There were noticeably vacant tables, but my group of 6 and I were standing at the entrance for about 10 mins, before being served. It took our waitress about 12 mins to ask us what we wanted to drink and took almost 10 mins to bring them to our table. My friend ordered a soda and it tasted like it was half filled with water. 15 minutes after the drinks were delivered she finally brought out are appetizers. The food was decent, but while delivering my friend her vegetarian burger, a waiter made a remark that it wasn't a REAL burger. Always eat in the bar area, not in main restaurant. 4, don't go. We always go M-Th 4-6 p.m. That is when the best staff works in the bar area. You can get the full menu and you are treated great. They also have apps for less during that time. We like the chips, salsa and skillet quest. But I used to live in Texas what that was a must on all their menus. The servers will tell you their honest opinion if you have questions about something tasting good. There are two ladies that work in the bar area that are great and one in particular works M-Th and that is why we go during that time. We stay away from chicken tenders, and their corn on the cob is way over cooked.. We like the tacos, enchiladas (various kinds) black beans and rice. Or a 2/$20 combo. I have eaten in the restaurant area and will never do that again. If it isn't M-Th early evening, we just don't go. read more

Slowest service ever!! They don't clear tables after customers leave in the bar area so if you want to sit in there, you have to wait till the hostess clears it. Had to ask for refill of drinks, waiter came once to take the order and never saw him again. Food taste like hospital food... way too many restaurants in that area to choose from. Was not impressed with this Chili's. My boyfriend and I ordered the 2 for $20 in which you get an appetizer and 2 entrees. What a great deal! Unfortunately, the food was awful. My boyfriend ordered a burger and asked for it medium well. When it came to our table it was bright pink and dripping blood type liquid. My family and I chose to go to chili's after going to the pumpkin patch. We were greeted by a man who shouldn't be the first face you see. His hair was to long an had poor facial upkeep. And not to mention he just pointed to our seats and didn't ask us our preference of seating. I Went to the restroom to do my business to hardly see anything. The lighting is too dim. After returning to my seat I had soon on a rocking chair. The legs were not even so it was uncomfortable to sit. After waiting 25 minutes for our food to arrive the 4 out of the 5 was wrong. They offer to take it back to take off the unwanted toppings not even to replace the sand which all together! Also to mention the food was room temperature. And our seats were in a corner next to the door. Terrible floor arrangement. I guess the only thing good out of this was our server was on top of refills. Will not be returning. read more

Came around 7pm on a Monday, thought we'd try sometjing different than Applebee's. Big mistake, we walked in and we're not greeted and after a minute of standing there awkwardly we decided to seat ourselves. 10 min later we were contacted, 10 more minutes later we had water.... 30 minutes later we had appetizers (by then we were starving) and 10 minutes after that we had our food. Simply put, the food was terrible. It was tasteless, the turkey sandwich was dry, the avocado was mushy and my boyfriend didn't finish half his pizza due to its cardboard taste and texture. Thank goodness unbeknownst to us it was happy hour so we didn't pay full price for it, it was awful The waitress was alone (I felt for her, but that's not my problem either) and we never got. Check in nor got asked if we wanted a drink refill. We saw her at the beginning and the end. It was not packed, there was no excuse for the terrible experience. This chilis used to be very nice and great for night dates, now it reminds me of a siZzler or some cheapo trash diner. I am glad to say I will not be giving this place a second chance. We were seated after a 30 minute wait. We immediately noticed vomit under the table across from us. Soon two girls came to clear away the table next to that one. They both noticed and mentioned the vomit under the table but didn't bother to clean it up or have anyone else do it. The entire time we were there all of the staff ignored it. We went in for dinner on a Saturday evening and were sat right away. The lady at the door already had menus in her hands and made eye contact with me and said "seating for two." No hello or anything. The lady who sat us told us that she will be our server as well. The food was just okay. My dish had way too much cheese on it. There was cheese hanging off my food burnt. It reminded me of the cheeseburgers at Squeeze Inn with the cheese hanging off of the sides. The side salad that came with it didn't look too fresh. Some of the lettuce had black spotting indicating that it was old. The table right next to us was too close to our table for comfort and felt like the couple was actually dining at our table. I don't know if Chili's restaurants in general has gotten this bad, but this particular one was horrible. It hurts me to say this because I use to dine at Chili's in the past and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I ordered a samplers platter that included bbq chicken, ribs, fries corn on the cob. The chicken was just ok, the bbq sauce was gross, and the ribs was plain. The only things that was decent was the fries and corn. My sister ordered the steak fajita plate. I don't know what kind of meat it was, but she had to send it back twice. They then tried to pawn off chicken instead. The sides weren't worth mentioning either. They didn't charge her for the meal, but the whole point was to enjoy a meal out, away from home. I'm tired of going out to eat, expecting a nice meal, and being served garbage. Had the best experience ever at Chili's in Vacaville! We had their chicken fajitas with a salad and a drink for $10. What a deal! Roland, the manager, walked around the restaurant making sure everyone was enjoying their visit. (You don't see that everyday.). Our waitress was very attentive too. Let me first start by saying that for my husband and I, Chilli's is one of our favorite places to eat. We are not from the Vacaville area, but were in town and thought we would stop to grab a bite. The restaurant was nice and clean, and the waitress we had was really good. However the food was horrible. The chicken we got got was bland, tasteless, and had a very weird chewy texture. Also, the salsa of our chips and salsa appetizer was horrible. It was flavorless and was so running it appeared to have been dramatically watered down. I would never come back here again. read more
