It was relatively quiet for lunch on a Saturday, not too loud and not too busy. I am usually a chilis man, I love their mozzarella, their chicken, their fajitas, their burgers. But what in the hell was this evening. Chilis is more of a chill down your spine in fear when they bring the plates out. My mozzarella stick literally LACKED THE CHEESE? It wasn't just short on cheese no no...IT HAD NONE??!? I cannot rave enough about the $10.99 burgee deal at Chili's. It's definitely all the flavors of a McDonald's Quarter Pounder, but restaurant quality. No modifications are needed; I recommend ordering it as is. For my appetizer, I opted for the small side salad; it is very tiny, but for the price, you can't beat it. That quesadilla dressing is the bomb. It includes a soft drink or tea and if I recall correctly, you can actually get a margarita, too. Past service industry makes me a little critical of greeting time, it should not take as long as it did to have a server approach my table. Especially considering it was a lull before the dinner rush. The burger sliders looked thin and dry but my son didn't mind. Since chilis keeps deleting my google review. I will continue to post else where. Very rude female bartender, Naecha. Was disgusted by the service. Went in on a week-night. Was not busy. Must have waited like 3/5 minutes for the entitled bartender to stop telling people about her problems. Eventually she came over. What can I get you to drink? No hello or hi. No personality. Unless you are the couple she's talking to. She was nice to them. While we waited for this very sloppy bartender to stop talking about her personal life. The patrons were not even talking.... the bartender just kept gabbing. Other employees kept coming up and standing there looking at her. Mind you she IS NOT BUSY. 5 people at the bar. But won't stop talking long enough to make these employee drinks. Watched her yell at an employee that she needs time and berate other employees. I was sitting at the end of the bar by the door. So I could see her only table trying to wave her down. They had to ask another employee to get her attention. I watched as the man's face was in shock meaning I wasn't the only one sharing this experience. She put drinks down and immediately went to the hallway in front of the kitchen and started stuffing her face with food. I watched her enjoy her meal while I was still waiting to order mine. Watching her shoveling food into her mouth and then when she was done make a drink. No hand washing of any kind. This is a nice, local spot for me. It's a nice spot for a group of friends, co workers, peers, etc. It's very laid back and casual, and you're able to unwind here. I enjoy the drinks!! We had a great experience here tonight! The entitled yay-hoo sitting at the table next to us complained to the manager about Lord-knows-what, but he seemed the type to do so. The staff handled him with courtesy and professionalism. Our food came out fast, warm, and tasty. Our server, Hailey, was friendly and she kept our drinks full. Chili's is fine, whatever. Chain fast casual that does everything safe and nothing special at all, but because it's super corporate everyone is required to be friendly even though my fat son shrieks like a Golden Eagle descending on its prey. So that's a definite plus. I usually do the 2 for $20 menu, which snags a small appetizer and two full entrees from a limited menu. It's almost always fajitas and ribs, which are always cooked well enough. It's exactly as expected, every time. I guess it's good that they're consistent, but if you're bringing a date here, you're boring. And a terrible decision maker for restaurants, since this place is always packed with kids (Fishhawk, amirite?). They do have those Ziosk things at every table though, so you can order drinks without having to flag anyone down. The Ziosks also have games if your smartphone (or the conversation) dies, and you can even pay and get your receipt from them. Best part, though, is that the signature box accepts any input, so you can draw a cat as your official credit card sig. read more

We ordered the vegetarian black bean fajitas and they refused for the second time now to not give us cheese and sour cream. I ordered via Uber Eats and called in to ask them to leave it out. Both times I was told the toppings come pre-packaged (comes in a box with 4 toppings- cheese, sour cream, salsa and pico, see pic), so I'm like can you just not give me the box then and give me a separate cup of pico and a cup of salsa instead (the same way the guacamole comes in a separate cup). Both times I was told that this is for some reason "not possible." ??? I really thought that the first time I called and asked the girl that she was just a ditz, but no, same experience when we ordered this time. Pretty ridiculous. Not crazy about the black bean burger meat. We had it on a burger as well, very meh. Most places offer Beyond or Impossible meat for burgers, which is far better. I really don't think any vegan is a big fan of black bean burgers. Aside from that, good flavors. Love the onion petals. Very disappointed, we are regulars and we went to eat today and they told us they had a 25 min waiting, we wanted to sit in the bar area which is normally first come and they had 3 tables empty and the manager still said we had to wait and there were no people waiting. Chilis used to be one of the best restaurants in town and over the past years they have completely went downhill. Just ordered online through DoorDash. Food was hot so it definitely wasn't a delivery issue. Burger was completely overdone to a point where it was a brick. ( I asked for a pink center) At one time Chilis had the best burgers in town and now the meat is thin. Almost like it comes out of a box. Holy Dog Farts. This was an epically bad experience. So here I am on a Saturday with the family (wife, son, fat baby) wanting to get a little grub/booze and take in the first NFL wild card game (Bills v. Texans). We decided to give Chili's in Lithia a shot. Its my first time at this Chili's, but obviously we have all dined our fair share of Chili's warehouse-like trash food in the past. Anyways, I waltz in like an old school gangsta and request to be seated somewhere within view of a television so that I can view said Wild Card game. Keep in mind it is 4:45PM and this hell hole is less than 25% full. The hostess goes "uhhhh, uhhhh maybe, uhhh (looks around like an asshat) yeah... uhhh, come with me". She proceeds to sit us adjacent to the bathroom in the only spot where the tv is literally in the opposite direction of my head. I pointed out a plethora of open tables (I'm talking 12 plus) in view of several TVs. She says "No, you can't sit there because I don't have servers for those spots". I looked at the 16 year old kid and asked when she expected to have serves so I could sit there. She indicated really soon. I said coolio lamb chop, we will gladly wait here at the table with the TV view. She looked at me with an Old Testament vengeance and said "No, I will need you to wait up front". So, with all the calmness in the world I looked at my girl and said "f*ck this". Just at that moment I noticed a booth in the bar area and went and sat down. From this point everything took forever, which was perplexing considering the place was empty and crawling with slack jawed employees. Regardless, food came wrong twice. Check out the Southwestern Egg Rolls the waitress brought us after brining us a wrong item. The egg rolls looked like a battered wife. And yes, that is the wrong dipping sauce. The waitress was so depressed I couldn't even bring my self to complain as I thought it may push her over the edge. I couldn't have that my on conscious tonight. Any other day I wouldn't have cared, but not that night. In closing, I just want to say this place blows horse wang. Thanks Chili's for giving a 0.0 effort.
