We had an amazing time at this location! An awesome waitress! Delicious food! Just a great overall experience! Don't mind the picture of the triple dipper. My bf and I already taken a bite. The waitress even gave us a beverage to go and packed up our left overs for us! We loved her! Thank you chilis!

I ordered Chili's from this location using DoorDash on Sunday, 4/26 at 6:55 pm. When my 2 meat barbecue meal finally got to me, it was cold; this probably isn't the fault of Chili's though- in fact, I kind of expected it with how long DoorDash took to deliver the meal. I do however take issue with Chili's on the sorry state that my brisket was in. At first when I opened the plastic packaging, I didn't even see any brisket. After some digging, I found it hiding under a slice of garlic bread and laughed out loud; it was petrified, stringy, and shredded- not at all like pictured on the menu. I had expected a couple of tender slices, but was given a small portion of what looked like freeze dried pulled pork. Its my belief that Chili's ran out of brisket for the day, so they found a gross burnt end that they were going to throw out, stuck it in my to-go container, and hid this tiny shame under a slice of garlic bread. I will most likely eat at this location when they open back up for dining, but I will not order take out from them again.

These bad reviews are pretty confusing to me... I've been to this Chili's 3 or 4 times since it opened and I've always looked forward to coming back. The building is in good condition and in my opinion it has pretty good ambiance for a place in Vestal. The servers have always been personable to me and wait times were never an issue - I've always been seated as soon as I walked in and the food has been brought out in a timely manner. And the food has been good (although I can't compare it to other Chilis' as this is the only one I've been to) but everything I've tried has been exciting and tasted great, although they do have a tendency to really slather on the sauce which might be a turn off for some. Th e one complaint I have is from the last time I visited - I got the Santa Fe Crispers salad, and the menu description reads: "Pico, avocado, cilantro, tortilla strips, and a drizzle of spicy Santa Fe sauce", and below there's an option below for "with spicy grilled chicken". Assuming that the normal version of the salad came with only what it said on the menu, as one does, I ordered it, thinking it was vegetarian, but when it came out, it had fried chicken on it. Turns out this is what it normally comes with even though there's no mention of chicken on the menu. Not really a problem with this location as much as a problem with the franchise and menu, but still really annoyed me. If you're going to have meat on a salad, you have to be clear about it coming with meat, it shouldn't be a surprise when I get it.

This is exactly how the server put it on our table. Mashed potatoes missing (total wait time 1h 10 minutes)

Okay food. Nothing to get excited about. Prices are average. I went because I had a gift card and I problably will not go back again.

Currently in the restaurant. A lot of empty seats yet we waited for 15 minutes and had to ask front desk to bring our drinks.

Tapatios was my family's Mexican restaurant of choice growing up, so my review is a little biased…read morein that I have the nostalgia glasses on when I eat here. That being said, I think it's fully decent food, if not totally authentic Mexican. Lots of variety on the menu. I mostly eat vegetarian, and they have a good number of vegetarian options, but I do really like their seafood dishes. I don't think anything on the menu is totally vegan as-is, but you could probably make some of the vegetarian specials vegan by requesting no cheese. The food is tasty and I would say well-prepared even if the presentation isn't always fancy. It does tend to be salty. If you like cheese, any of the cheese-based dishes like cheese enchiladas or chiles poblanos will delight because they are very cheesy. Their chips and salsa are great - the chips always come out warm and the salsa is simple but fresh. First batch of chips and salsa are complimentary and refills are pretty cheap, but one basket is sufficient for us. I tried the "Cinco de Melón" margarita this time, a frozen watermelon margarita with lots of Tajin. It was a good margarita - I really liked the spicy Tajin with the watermelon, and the drink was appropriately strong. Always friendly service and fun atmosphere. In my experience the service is almost never slow. The waitress on our last visit was actually a little too attentive; it felt like she was coming by every few minutes while we were eating to ask if we needed anything, but definitely better too much than too little. I've visited some other Mexican-American restaurants in the area in the past few years and it seems to me that the quality and degree of "authenticity" at Tapatios is comparable to similar places, so my family continues to come here because of proximity and familiarity.

It was really easy to find street parking since most places were closed, and the restaurant wasn't crowded. The inside is cool with interesting decor - true to its name, it has a garage theme with some fun decorations. The waitress was incredibly sweet, friendly, professional, and serviceable. She was extremely attentive and went out of her way to proactively offer everything we needed - even taking the time to explain the different (homemade) hot sauces to us. One of my dining companions got a strawberry margarita with a chili rim, which the server explained used their housemade tajin-like blend. Good flavor to the drink. They had a large menu of cocktails and mocktails, and half priced basic ("broke") margs on Mondays. Looking at the menu, it was really hard to decide because they had so many great options. We started with the fried avocado which were DELIGHTFUL. Our whole table loved them. Not greasy at all, well seasoned. The outsides were perfectly crispy and inside was like biting into guacamole. A really fun menu option. I went with the cauliflower tacos, and they were perfect. The cauliflower was cooked perfectly, crisp but light and not greasy. All of the flavors and textures were evenly balanced. I'm not the hugest fan of cilantro but I didn't even detect it. I thought that the prices were a little high initially but two tacos (+ a side of choice) was PLENTY. The flavor and quality was top notch, and we were all really full and satisfied. I tried a bite of someone else's fish tacos and they were BOMB. Might have to order those next time. This was really a five star experience all around, and we were all already talking about returning in the future even though it's a drive for all of us.

We came towards the end of the lunch rush (1-2PM?) and were seated immediately. The ambiance is hip and buzzy, with lots of colorful decor. The menu had some very tempting options, even for vegetarians. We started with the buffalo brussel sprouts, a stroke of genius. I'd never thought about dousing this tasty veggie in hot sauce and blue cheese, but it makes sense. This was a very tasty app, and the sprouts were roasted perfectly with crispy outer skins which provided the crunch needed for a good buffalo dish. The special that day was some kind of french dip sandwich which one of my dining companions got. Another one got a cajun catfish sandwich and graciously offered me a bite. It was flavorful. For my main, I got the spring roll bowl and decided to add tofu. It had noodles, peanuts, a sweet thai chili sauce, and lots of veggies. It was MASSIVE. Prices are a little high but the portions definitely made it worth it. I could have taken half home as leftovers if I'd wanted. The restaurant also has a coffee bar which we decided last minute to partake in instead of venturing out into the rain to find a different cafe. This was such a convenient option because we didn't have to fight to find parking or brave the weather to go to a second location. I did a pistachio latte. Someone else at my table got a Mexican hot chocolate. I treated myself to the homemade whipped cream. The coffee hit the spot. Throughout the whole experience the staff was wonderful. Our food came out quickly, and the servers were very friendly and joking with us. I'd come back if I was in the area.

It was around 5:30pm on a Saturday and luckily there were plenty of tables still available. We started with the Buffalo Brussels Sprouts which I absolutely loved! These are some of the best Brussels sprouts I've had at a restaurant. The buffalo sauce was light and not overpowering and even the blue cheese dipping sauce (which I'm usually not a fan of) was pretty mild and paired well with the Brussels sprouts. A great start! We then shared the Large Rigatoni a la Vodka and added Meatballs to it. The Large is definitely enough for 2 people. The Rigatoni was cooked well and the vodka sauce was well balanced with the cream, tomatoes, garlic, and cheese. It wasn't anything spectacular but it hit the spot! My only complaint was for ~$6, I expected the meatballs to be larger than they were. The Meatballs had good flavor but for such a large bowl of pasta, it barely makes a difference. And those 3 meatballs should be $1 each at most, in my opinion. The Side Caesar Salad was a great pair with the pasta and for ~$3, very reasonably priced. All in all, worth stopping by if you're in town!
