The service was great, the staff very attentive, the place is clean. I ordered a classic hamburger thinking you can't go wrong with that, right? Very wrong, I've never in my long life had a burger made of meat soaked in pure salt & salt pockets inside the meat! The beef actually looked good & was cooked perfect, but I'll never know how it tased bc all I could taste was salt. 2 hours & 3 bottles of water later & I still can't get the salt out of my mouth. I'll never eat there again. The amount of salt made the burger inedible. read more

Visiting from Florida my family was hungry for some steak. Upon entering the line/ wait was crazy,yet they were moving parties pretty fast. When being seated they grab warm rolls n cinnamon butter and ask if you want to pick your steak and when you do they give a ticket which you give to your server. The onion blossom was great , not greasy, sauce with it had a kick. Your entrees get so many choices all sides are yummy. Our waitress had the nicest welcoming , personality, think her name was Jen. She was right on and got what we needed so fast and checked on us many times. The manager is doing a great job with his team, all seems to know their jobs and each was was very polite from greeting to saying goodbye. We were pleasantly surprised the steaks were so good at this franchise restaurant. I ordered the 12 oz prime rib, cooked medium rare, and it was tender and the portion was huge. My husband and daughter each ordered the rib eye, 14 oz and 16 oz, both cooked medium rare. Their steaks looked more medium than rare but were still juicy and tasty. Each entree comes with 2 sides and there's a wide selection to choose from. We also ordered the combo appetizer which was a good deal. Unfortunately I couldn't taste much alcohol in my mango margarita but still enjoyed it. The restaurant is very lively and loud (a bit too loud), but it was a fun atmosphere. read more

We had dinner with friends and family last night, tables of 5ppl. Did have to call 1 hr prior to the time to have dinner, we were seated appropriately 70mins after we out ourselves on the waitlist, as it was a Saturday night and we got a table at 630pm, upon arrival, the entrance was packed and all tables including the bar were full. As always we picked Texas Roadhouse because it's always reliable, consistent and the staff is super friendly, our server tonight is Vinny or Vincenzo. Awesome waiter, attentive and funny. We order the smokehouse burger, 20 oz bone in filet, pulled ork sandwhich, ribs with mac and cheese, of course we had to order fried pickles and the frozen margarita. Although, it was 9 degrees outside, i could only have 1 margarita. Food was superb, steak was med, burger was perfect and the whole table was very pleased with the quality of the food! read more

Well we just sat down, after waiting in empty place, was a bit disappointed with the service. Despite the restaurant being mostly empty, we had a surprisingly long wait to be seated. Once we finally got a table, it took quite a while for our drink order to be taken. The young lady Kaylea was great once she arrived! excellent in fact! and the food was also good, the initial slow service took away from the overall experience. I typically don't take the time to review chain restaurants, as you typically receive the same service and food - however, our experience last night was review worthy! It was 4:30 on a Sunday; we did join the waitlist on the website and it was a 0-10 minute wait, and it was honestly just that! I was surprised by that as it typically takes much longer than the time they give you. We were seated and immediately our server was there; our drinks came fast, followed by everything else! My husband is a big drinker while he eats and he never had to even ask for refills! Our food was piping hot, the steaks melted like butter & even our teenager was happy with his meal It was super busy but no one missed a beat! 10/10 best TR experience we've all ever had! read more

We went there on Sunday March 9th for the first time. Neither of us ever visited any Texas Roadhouse befoe but I won a gift certificate so we gave them a try. We got there at 12:30 PM and they opened at noon. Only two other couples ahead of us in line for their bread and waiter to take them to their table. The selection of steaks you can see and choose in line is a nice touch! A manager escorted us a table for four (or more) and I asked if anyone else would be seated with us and thankfully he said no. So, we had a lot of room! The bread and honey butter buns are delicious and addicting. We actually got another 4 without asking and saved 3 to take home. We got a coupon by signing up online before we went for a free appetizer and we picked the ribs and split the large appetizer with delicious fries. Another manager delivered complementary samples of 4 of their sides and introduced himself like the first manager did, very professional. Sorry I forgot their names. Our waiter was a young man with a unique name but again, me with names. We shared BBQ Shrimp skewers over a dirty rice that was the best I've had! We loved the shrimp too! Besides the extra rolls, we got two bags of their wonderful peanuts and one had a coupon for a free appetizer attached for our next visit. Finally the top manager came over and introduced himself. We were very impressed with everything and plan to choose a steak next time! It was a very comfortable experience and the staff made us feel special. They always have great service and try to accommodate any of your needs. The steak and sides are really good, one thing I would say though is that the side of buttered corn is way too salty. I do not normally complain and especially about Texas Roadhouse. The bartender was excellent and attentive. He took my order right away but then I waited at least 15-20 minutes for my salad, that never happens at my hometown TR. Approximately 20 minutes later they bring out my filet butterflied which I didn't ask for. It would have been a decent thickness had they not butterflied it. I sent it back because it was over done and I could tell it would have been tough. Next, they bring my food out in a box. I never asked for it to be made to go and the bartender can do nothing but shake his head. Final straw to prompt me to write this review? The manager tells me he is going to "plate" it and it comes out but it's about 1/2 inch thick! When I query the manager about it he explains that's why they butterfly them. REALLY?? I've always gotten the steak when I've gone there and usually it's OK... Once in a while over cooked. But we go back. I decided to order the shrimp and rice this time. I couldn't finish the meal. Not because I was full, I actually was still hungry, but because it was so super salty I couldn't eat it all in one sitting. Their food is known to be salty... Often a little too salty for my taste, but bearable. This was almost like they seasoned it and forgot and did it again. It was so extremely salty. I couldn't pick up a flavor from the food. So we'd never been to a TR before, to the amazement of the waitress. But this immediately got a spot in our rotation. The service is great-helpful but not hovering or annoying. We had: cactus blossom, rolls, prime rib, ribeye, steak fries, baked potato, margaritas. The two weak points were the rolls and fries. The rolls had been sitting out on a counter for a while, so were a bit hard and only vaguely warm. They tasted like they would have been delicious fresh. The fries were overcooked. But honestly, we were so full, it wasn't the bummer it could have been. The meats were cooked perfectly-rare prime rib, medium rare ribeye. Absolutely wonderful. The margaritas were maybe the best we've had since we moved to NY. It's a bit pricey, but the portions are huge, so no complaints there. read more

We always went there for a good steak dinner. We went Sunday 6/8/25 at 2:00pm. Music was so loud we couldn't hear the waiter, got even louder with an occasion sing. My salad was served 2 minutes before meal, didn't even start my salad, steak was good but half way through the meal waiter asked if we wanted dessert and were we paying cash or credit card. A mid-afternoon meal at Texas Roadhouse happened accidentally. We dropped by to pick up a gift card for a friend's birthday and decided we'd stay and eat. Although it was 2:00 pm'ish, the wait to be seated was over 20 minutes. I thought that to be a longish time for a Saturday, but Meg pointed out it's prime Christmas shopping time. Okay, that probably explains a lot. However, I did notice that the wait staff seemed sparse. This likely added to the delay, too. We were served promptly and the food was hot. Meg declared her cheesburger "delicious but messy." She loved it. My pulled pork sandwich was good. I had to ask for bbq sauce, as there was next to none in it as served. I have to credit TR for having an actual Mexican beer on their list. I had a Dos Equis, and noted they also have Corona which is not a Mexican beer, but passed off as one. Our server was quick, personable, and thorough. Totally delightful! Over all, the experience was loud and nourishing. Big praise is due their steak fries! We had a disappointing dinner tonight at the Texas Road House in Vestal, NY. This is a steak house so we expected they would know how to cook a steak to order. We had a long wait even after we sat down, both of us had bone in ribeyes and ordered them medium rare. This cut of steak is generally very tender. Not tonight! Both steaks were very tough and over cooked. They asked how our meal was so we told them. They offered to replace the steaks however we had been there so long as it was, we were freezing sitting my the windows - so we declined. No offer to do anything else. My husband & I went to visit our cousin in Binghamton, NY and she picked Texas Roadhouse. I was skeptical because they wouldn't take reservations and it was Saturday night. We got there at 6:45 and the wait was 1 1/2 hours!!! It was absolutely nuts!! I was ready to leave but stayed for our cousin. People were stuffed everywhere in the area where you first came through the doors with just 2 seats available and everyone standing and it was so hot and uncomfortable. Someone said that this location was the busiest of all their locations. Even though it was 25 degrees outside I had to keep going outside to cool down and breathe. Then I got a text finally at 8:00 so I thought we would be seated but no!!! We had to stand in a lineup in front of the meat coolers and wait some more! At that point my husband was complaining to the Manager. I felt like cattle being corralled. Finally seated and the place was so loud you could nearly hear yourself talking. We quickly ordered because we all were starving. I got the strip steak and my husband a hamburger, my cousin the salmon. Waiter brought out rolls with cinnamon butter which were very doughy and undercooked. My steak was very charred on the outside but it was cooked to my specifications of medium rare. The potato was cooked well. The side salad was good. My husband hated the Hamburg- said it was tasteless. My cousin liked the salmon. I will definitely not go back. I love Texas Roadhouse. we go pretty much every week and will always come back, BUT there is a bad part. In the many, many times we go, we love the staff and all the apps, but when it comes to entree its a 50/50 chance that your food will be overcooked and then you will be waiting 10-15 minutes for them to remake it, so I hope this can be corrected in the future, but I would still highly recommend this Steakhouse. read more
