Living in Orlando feels like a hit or miss when it comes to authenticity Chinese food. My family and I had not had what feels like real Chinese food In a very long time and we went on a Friday night. So glad that we found this gem! Not sure where to start... all the dishes were savory, cooked to perfection and would come out as they were ready. Service was excellent, they were so helpful and patient as we were a little overwhelmed with the menu (so many delicious options) There is something for everyone, from noodle soups, to authentic classics, to spicy wontons to Szechuan dishes. And the potions are generous! We literally shared everything and still had leftovers. Definitely will be coming back.

    - I'm always ecstatic to find a place with good Chinese food - Go inside and take a number from the machine, wait till your number is called to be seated. If you're not inside the restaurant, they will also call you - Got eggplant in garlic sauce, pork in garlic sauce, Dan Dan noodles, deep fried mini buns - The only thing I didn't like was the Dan Dan noodles. They drown it in sichuan peppercorn sauce and it's too numbing - Rice is ordered separately - Everything was so flavourful and the portions are huge - The service was quick - They have about 4 large tables, good for 6-7 people

We had a great lunch at The Chilli Spot Chinese Restaurant! I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup, and my husband had the orange chicken. Both dishes were fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The service was warm and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this place if you're looking for authentic, delicious Chinese cuisine!

Most Asians I've seen since our visit so this spot is legit chinese food. Parking is in a plaza and accompanies a grocery store. Despite coming from a heavily Asian area, this place offered some pretty unique dishes. The male server is very efficient and observant making sure every need is met and the dishes come out fast. For example, a table was having trouble packing and he swooped in and offered to help, flawlessly packed the soup within minutes. Hes also able to figure out any technical errors. Duck- never had a crispy fried version but the meat was still tender with a nice crackle crust. I loved the side slaw to cut through the oil Stomach tripe cold dish- solid flavor good mix right texture Boiled fish- lots of fish, very authentic numbing spicy l, maybe almost too much peppercorn oil as even soy milk tasted weird after lol. Rice cost per Bowl and the soy milk is a canned version so don't recommend it. Each table also has an electric stove so maybe good for dry/hot pot. Overall great place, id highly recommend to try.

Ok they have never disappointed us yet this is our 3rd visit. This time we tried their Dandan noodles and we have unanimously agree this was the best tasting Dandan noodle we've had. We are eager to come back and try some new dishes as well as we asked other customers what they were eating. Apparently their beef tongue is a popular dish.

Located in a strip mall, this place was amongst quite a few places in that area. I personally am a snob with Asian food but this place was pretty decent. Most of the food was spicy on the menu which I can't really eat but we ordered the non spicy dishes such as saute veggies, soup noodles, etc. Food was good and the ambiance pretty casual. Place was full for a Sunday afternoon but we still got a table and good service.

It's authentic szechuan cuisine. Menu well designed. Place was packed with Chinese, a good sign. How spicy a fish is a highly individual preference, but I think this restaurant did well in warning people how spicy a dish is by default. The hot soup with beef was warm hearty and just what I needed. Beef was slightly fatty and savory. Paired well with rice. Got sautéed pork. It was like bacon, slightly slightly sweet but not overtly so, and provided just the right amount of heat. I actually thought it wasn't spicy enough do i got chili oil on the side. So addictingly good. Service: good and reminded me of china. If you needed anything they would provide it. It wasn't like some spots where they serve you food and never come back. Fast. Friendly. Especially if you speak Chinese. Ambiance: busy. Crowded. Slightly cramped feeling. But you get the feeling they are prepared for busy dinner service so it was ok. Would come back.

Having spent time in Taiwan and hosting Chinese students for five years I can tell you this is extremely authentic Chinese food. It's wonderful. They've got a nice selection of food. Would highly recommend if you wanna come try authentic Chinese food wonderful service nice ambience inside and very pleasant.

This restaurant is such a hidden gem. I tried a sample of their food at a Yelp event over a year ago and I loved it but the restaurant is a far drive for me. When I was staying at the Helios hotel for a work event, I looked the restaurant up and I was so happy to see this location was near by! My daughter and I went for dinner one night. It was a Friday night and it was not too busy. We were seated right away. The waitress let us know that the meals were big enough to split so I ordered the sizzling beef with black pepper. This dish was amazing! It was piping hot, flavorful and filling. The plate of beef and peppers arrived sizzling like fajitas. We had enough to split for dinner that night and enough to take leftovers back to the hotel. I asked for extra white rice for the left overs and the waitress did not even charge us. We got all of this for $20.95! Very rarely you get a big, filling, delicious meal for such a reasonable price. I really wish they had a location near me but anytime I am in this area I will definitely be coming back!

Authentic Sichuan food!! Which is hard to find in America. We got the Sichuan Wontons, Dan Dan Noodles, and Kung Pao Chicken. It was all delicious!!!

    Chilespot fish! 10 stars!

I went back again tonight to have the chili spot fish again... couldn't stop thinking about it from the 1st time. Again, outstanding! I love that in the broth they have a bunch of yummy vegetable ( Napa, lotus root, cauliflower, melon, bean sprout). Everyone there remember us and welcomed use back like we were family.

We had a large group on 10 and had several signature dishes. Best was the fried noodles with beef, boiled beef, fish in sour soup, and drooling chicken. Also mashed eggplant and old eggs. Tasty. Mapo tofu uses the wrong kind of tofu. Most highly recommended.

All I can say, this place simply blew my mind!! I never expected this resto to be this GOOD! Came in around 7:15 pm and there's were a few people waiting and I signed up on their Yelp waitlist kiosk. But I got seated about 5-10 mins upon arrival. So when looked at the menu, they had 3 dishes that were Michelin guide recommendations. The first one is their wonton soup, the pan fried Peking duck buns and the steamed buns with bokchoy and mushrooms. So I was curious and had to order the wonton soup and since I love Peking duck, I ordered the buns. Here's my assessment: 1. Pork and shrimp wonton soup - 15/10 - the soup was pretty neutrally flavored but still good to my liking but oh boy, the wonton was out of this world!! It came with 6 large wontons, some bokchoy, seaweed and the broth. I always ask for chili oil and when I took a bite of the wonton, the sudden burst of deliciousness that I felt in my mouth was indescribable. Then I dipped the wonton in the chili oil and it added another layer of umami flavor. This is prolly my Top 2 wonton soup I've had in my life next to the one I've tried in Hongkong years ago!! Every wonton I ate the more I just want to eat more wontons . It's INCREDIBLE. 2. Pan fried Peking duck buns - 20/10 - this should be a Michelin star dish!! The bun was a little sweet, soft but that first bite felt like all my salivary juices just exploded. This is the BEST BAO BUN I've had in America. The most perfect combination of sweet, savory, salty, with a touch of five spice and a gastronomically out of bounds dish - It's UNBELIEVABLE!! Every customer should not leave this resto until they've tried this one!! Trust me, you may want to eat at least 4 pcs of this. I would have wanted to get 2 more but I was already full. 3. Steamed bokchoy with garlic - 10/10 - love the freshness of the bokchoy, well poached and the garlic was just enough that it was not overpowering yet it was garlicky. I wish we can have Kung Fu Kitchen in CA but I guess FL is more business friendly. They also have their sister flagship resto in NY!! So if ever you come to Disney World or Orlando for a work or business trip, pls do yourself a favor and make sure you put this resto as part of your itinerary!!!

The place is elegantly decorated with an Asian theme. However, some of the benches attached to the booths had worn out upholstery. Our server, Yumi (spelling?) was polite and efficient. We had the salt and pepper squid appetizer. It was plentiful and great with the accompanying sauce. However, we didn't like the breading. And I dared to bite into one of the peppers that accompanied it and it set my mouth on fire. For dinner we had the Szechuan scallops and the XO fish. The scallops were tasty and the dish had lots of broccoli, peppers, and mushrooms. The sauce was a bit sweeter than we expected. The XO fish sauce was very similar to the Szechuan sauce and though the fish was a tad salty, it was still savory. The asparagus that accompanied that dish was chopped (easier to eat) and there were plenty of sweet snap peas and bell peppers. We adore snow pea tips and were in the mood for lots of veggies. So, we got an order to accompany our meals. We did take home most of it, along with lots of broccoli (for me) from the Szechuan scallops. We were treated to a complimentary Chinese-style dessert made with peeled split mung beans and thickened with tapioca starch into a gooey, translucent pudding that was served warm. Our meal of 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, 1 order of veggies, a pot of tea, tax, and tip was $138.

First up, the tofu and veggie stir-fry--a glorious mix of crispy tofu cubes with perfectly sautéed broccoli, carrots, and bok choy in a savory brown sauce that hugged every bite like a warm hug from a Chinese grandma. The beef with broccoli? Tender, flavorful, and bathed in rich umami goodness. Honestly, if I could bottle that sauce, I'd put it on everything--maybe even my cereal (don't judge). The Honey Walnut Shrimp was love at first crunch. Perfectly crispy shrimp in a creamy, sweet glaze topped with candied walnuts and nestled on a bed of fresh steamed broccoli. This dish was the Beyoncé of the table--everyone wanted a piece. Those crispy, golden Shrimp Ball Fritters? Imagine a crunchy sea urchin made of joy. Light, airy, and addictive--basically the potato chip of appetizers. The pan-fried dumplings were thick, juicy, and had the perfect crispy sear. No sad, soggy dumplings here. Then came the crispy duck--dark, rich, and bursting with deep roasted flavor. It had that satisfying crunch you want, and the meat melted in your mouth. A must for meat lovers. But the real MVP? Those soup dumplings. Steamy little flavor bombs that explode in your mouth like a culinary fireworks show. Served in their own mini tins like royalty--juicy, delicate, and impossible to eat just one. The table went silent the second they landed. That's how you know it's real.
