The bubble tea here is really good. I got the watermelon and although it is kind of expensive I will definitely be back.

Stopped by here on my way into the mall as I was parched and needed some sustenance. Ordered some smoothie that was orange flavored, I think it was called a starburst or something to that extent. I got the lychee bubble tea here and I felt it may have been the worst bubble tea I have had in a while. The drink wasn't even blended to a consistency and had an awful after taste. I definitely do not recommend this place. read more

Absolutely love this place. A bubble tea addiction can get pretty expensive at $5 bucks a pop, but it is well worth it. I usually stick with the Mango or Berries. I would have loved to give it 5 starts, but the staff there is usually lack luster. Never really smile or really acknowledge anything besides your order. They do however make a mean bubble tea, so that alone will keep me coming back for more. read more

I love this little spot in Woodfield. I work right across the street and it has become a ritual for me to go there on Tuesdays for the Special! I stick with the Green Tea. I have tried a few of the fruit ones and they are kind of like slushies with tapioca in them. The Milk Tea is pretty good too but beware it is really sweet. I can't imagine getting any of them without Tapioca (It is called Bubble Tea for a reason). The service does suck sometimes because they are under staffed or cleaning stuff in the back. I LOVE BUBBLE TEA, I personally love the way Chilll makes them. Also, always ask for extra boba. I will say though...there is a Bubble Tea Nazi that either owns the place or is just an employee but her customer service is a little harsh...my sister asked her for a certain flavor and she answered her in a odd way but to be fair she does know her flavor combinations and makes a mean bubble tea...I guess you get what you get. read more

Maybe it's because I've had so many bubble teas and smoothies from many different places and even different states, so now I'm picky. Tapioca are really easy to make and if you soak it in honey water for a just a few min the Tapioca would taste so much better, but the tapioca here are bland and flavorless, just chewy. The mango smoothie's pretty good, but the milk tea is..., it's good but it has that taste that makes you sick of it about half way through. I still go here cause it's a tradition for my friends and I when we go to the mall, but some of the staff could be friendlier. read more

This was really good! however.. I am not from around here so I have never heard of bubble tea before. I saw a long line in front of the store and was curious to see what it was. When i finallyy got to the front of the line i saw what the hold up was..there was only one worker! Over 100 degrees outside and there was only one girl that had to do everything by herself. The girl that was working was yes, flustered, but understandably so. I had many questions for her and she was more than happy to answer all of them..she even let me taste a few of the other customer's leftovers to see which one I would like the best. Great cusomer service under the circumstances in my opinion! I ended up getting the mango and peach mix with the tapioca...and it was wonderful! I will definately be coming back for more and giving the poor girl a hug.. from looking at other reviews the customer serivce issues here are not due to individual employees..they are due to whatever manager believes it is okay to understaff a store that gets so busy and allowing them to take all the heat. read more

I love this bubble tea! It is not authentic, but I still dig it. I mostly get a large honeydew with no tapioca. That being said I am always angry and agitated after leaving because of their staff and customer service.This is not one time that I had a bad experience with staff....it is ALL the time I go here! The staff are horrible! I mean horrible. I always wanted to ask to speak to a manager...but I'm pretty positive there is not one. I go to this place often, every time I am in the mall. I live very close to Woodfield, so it is often. And every time I am treated very badly by the staff. There is one girl who is in her about 16-19 year old and where her hair up in a vintage pin-up style. She is extremely rude. Never smiles, never says hello, rolls her eyes, does that deep breath thing like she is angry, and makes customers feel very uncomfortable. I several occasions she gave me a small and when I inform her that I purchased a larger (because I do it every time)she says "no you didn't." And every time I say "Yes I did." When she goes back to check my order she just says "yeah" and then seems disgusted that she has to change the cup and add more. Have you ever seen the episode of Seinfeld with the soup nazi....that is how she makes me feel. I go there because I really enjoy the product, but I feel so belittled by the staff. I'm even intimidated by her; like she is going to smack me or go off screaming at me if I say the wrong thing. One time I went there and there was a dirty stool on the counter with a paper sign that said "be back at 2:30pm. On lunch." This would not be acceptable at other establishments, but I was empathetic because normally there is only one person working and I understand they get hungry. It was around 2:25 so I figured, "I can wait." When 2:35pm rolled around I was so livid to see 3 girls st role out from the back still munching on food. Really? They couldn't rotate who was on lunch break? WHO runs this place and why are these staff members still here? They are always out of something...normaly at least 4 flavors. This normally doesn't bug me because they are normally not ones I drink, but I think it is still an inconveniences for other customers and unprofessional. If you know you run out of certain flavors, purchase more when buying supplies. There are numerous stories that I could say about the horrible staff and service there, but I won't bore you any longer. Moral of the story, if you find another bubble tea place you enjoy go there! I love this place. The staff is great, Veronica (Who i assume is the manager by the way she seems to know what she's doing and the others follow her lead) is so help full and every time i go she suggests a new flavor that isn't even on the menu. ZERO stars...I came to Sears to deliver a load and walked over this chill bubble tea and got the at 10am there was a sign saying be back in 10 to 15 mins went to storage. So I went to the restroom. I came back and there was a guy sitting there so I asked if they were open. ERIC response was we usually open at 10:30. So I double check the time on the site and on Yelp. I watched him sit there on his phone and after I mentioned what time they open he grabbed a magazine and started reading. I took my phone out to show him the time listed open and closing. He then say I guess I can make your drink, we don't have any tapioca you OK with that. I'm like there's the pineapples that's the ones I want. So it started throwing and slamming utensils and mixer with an attitude. After he got done with the sugar he threw it on the counter and it fell on the floor. Once he grabbed my cup and put those balls in he basically threw my cup on the counter in front of the blender. He also then threw the cup after it was filled and had the lid seal. Afterwards to then told me here! Have a nice day. I literally watch the guy Eric pick up the spoon and run it under some water and put in back into the sugar container. I will never return to this location again. Very rude and unprofessional plus not to mention unsanitary. read more

I'm not going to lie, I come here pretty often, but that's only because of lack of any other place I really want to go to for a drink in the mall. The tapioca is always awkwardly small and bland, it's only redeeming factor is that it's nice and chewy and not mushy, however, their actual drinks are terrible. I've ordered a fruit smoothie a couple times and they always put in way too much fruit so it comes out super tart. It sounds weird to hear that they put too much fruit, but a fruit smoothie should just be a little fruit and ice and maybe milk depending on the fruit, but they cram so much fruit in it the flavor is too strong and sour. Another drink I like is milk tea, except the milk tea here makes me sick. I keep ordering it since i just love the actual taste of milk tea, but here they make it so sweet I can't even taste it sometimes. Not only that, but it's so inconsistent. Sometimes my milk tea is really sweet, and sometimes not so much, but its annoying since all I want is to have it either be consistently ok or consistently bad since I don't like playing guessing games when I eat. read more
