Finally got to try the new Chill Charleston on Folly Road, and I was blown away by the vibrant, beachy decor and laid back atmosphere. This place takes the cake in coastal coffee shop rankings nearby. I didn't get to try the açaí bowls, but heard they're incredible! I also learned there was a drag bingo and at night they serve wine and charcuterie. This place and the staff were so welcoming, I will definitely be back!

I really wanted to love this place. I'm always looking forward to new local spots on James Island, but this place missed the mark for me. Pros: The decor/vibe is very cute and instagrammable. I love the feminine, beachy vibe. The staff was also very nice. The also have both indoor and outdoor seating which is nice, and plenty of parking, which I always appreciate. Cons: The blended strawberry lemon drink wasn't that great. The place was really full when I was busy so they may have just been rushed. The menu was pretty limited and the prices that I saw weren't cheap. I think they're still a new-er business so maybe they are just working out the kinks, but this place is sadly a pass for me.

What a wonderful little hidden gem! I had no idea this was here-my friend told me about it and I'm so glad she did. As soon as you walk in you feel like you're on vacation. I need to find out who there designer is and have them come to my house!! I sat in the rattan hanging chairs while I waited wishing I could sit there all day! I had to take mine to go, but I definitely recommend eating there if you can for the ambiance. Looked like they have an outdoor area, as well. I ordered two of the cocoa heaven açaí bowls and my boyfriend and I loved them. Definitely on the sweeter side so it felt like eating dessert for breakfast but in a good way! The toppings were perfect so we had that nice crunch with every bite. I also got the Sassy Bi*ch juice, which has carrot, ginger, and tangerine in it. If you love the taste of fresh ginger, you will love this juice (I do). It is a very strong and spicy flavor and absolutely delicious. The latte with maple syrup was good-I think next time I might get a little vanilla in there for a little more flavor. The staff was very friendly. It hits all the marks-great ambiance, friendly staff, and delicious, healthy food. Highly recommend!

I love drive-throughs. I love healthy smoothies. This place has both, so I'll be swinging by frequently.

You get a new glass with each new pour. You choose which wine you'd like & how much you'd like. I appreciated that I could do tastings of various wines. The QR code gave tasting notes, so I could choose what I might want from there. The food was also delicious. The meatball had a cinnamon after taste which was interesting. The crostinis were super tasty with the goat cheese, balsamic reduction, and strawberries.

The wait staff was not very welcoming, which definitely impacted the overall experience. When visiting a restaurant, especially one with such a great reputation, I expect to feel welcomed and valued as a guest. I was also disappointed by the inconsistency in the posted hours. The hours listed on the restaurant's website differed from the hours shown on Google, which can be very confusing when you're trying to plan your visit. Another concern was the payment experience. The restaurant placed two separate holds on my account--one for $1 and another for over $100. I understand that temporary authorization holds can sometimes occur, but having two separate holds was unexpected and added to an already disappointing experience. Hopefully, this was just an off experience, but based on my visit, I would hesitate to return.

There's a comprehensive cocktail menu and the French 75ish and the tiramisu martini were both delicious ($18 each). The prices are super comparable with other bars downtown. They have a full bar if you'd like a standard cocktail or any other creation I'm sure they could make it. Our server was great and very attentive. The kitchen stopped serving food at 10pm which I wish we had been told when we came in because I tried to order fries at 10:04 and was told I couldn't. Which I understand I just wish I had known. The place is pretty small and dark and very quiet so the perfect place for a calm nightcap.

This place would also be great for date night. Definitely should be a place people should try if they're in Charleston!

Brought my daughter and her friends here to celebrate her upcoming wedding and the experience was absolutely wonderful. Eric is incredibly knowledgable about wine, made the entire experience both educational and fun. Even the girls in the group who don't really drink wine ended up having a great time and created a wine blend that they truly enjoyed! Plenty of wine to taste and enjoy while you are creating your personal blend. You leave the class with a custom made bottle that you created with a personalized label that you designed (need to send the label design a few days before your class and they have it printed and ready for your bottle the day of the class). It was quaint but very inviting. I'm so sorry if I got your name wrong but I think it was Nicole? She was very friendly and told us about their specials and I love that they print a new menu daily as they rotate a lot of their wines. There was an option to do a "half bottle" which gets you just a touch more than a glass so we thought that was perfect for the two of us for just under $40. We got a nice and chilled Gamay and enjoyed our conversations with her. It's a nice place for a date, girls night or even if you want to sit alone at the bar. The team there makes you feel at home!
