I really enjoyed this restaurant. I've sat at the bar and dining area. The dining room is very spacious in between tables so you're not bumping into anyone ever. They have a nice extensive list of alcohol in the form of hard liquor, mixed drinks, craft beers, and a bit of wine. I've never been out on their patio. Steak and cheese egg rolls are by far my favorite appetizer in this place. It is very filling too so it would well for a foursome. The Breakfast Burger is one of the best things I've had here. Although it is not part of the $5 burger nights (Thursday I think). Which may or may not coincide with open mic night. They have an events calendar in the entrance area so you could stop by and see what's happening before you make a decision. I've had a few different entrees here before but I don't remember which ones. I'm sure I'll update this review again with more details at a later date. read more

We were surprised to find Chill is in a run-down looking strip mall, but as soon as we stepped inside, our minds were at ease. We made a reservation for Saturday night at 7:00 but didn't need them as there was no wait. The décor was trendy and cool and there was live music that wasn't too loud; it was actually the perfect touch and our 2-year-old enjoyed watching her sing. I got a blueberry lemonade cocktail that was absolutely delicious while my husband stuck with bud light. They brought out bread with a scallion dipping oil (which was addicting). All the apps looked so amazing, we had a hard time deciding on what to get but settled on the short rib empanadas and were not disappointed. I have a bell pepper allergy and they took it very seriously, bringing the side of slaw on a separate plate, which I appreciate. For entrees, I ordered the salmon which was supposed to come with a thai-chili glaze but the kitchen couldn't guarantee it didn't have peppers, so instead they offered a balsamic glaze. I asked for mashed potatoes instead of rice and everything was excellent, although the piece of fish was a little on the small side. My husband also got the t-bone which was on special with a caramelized onion and blue cheese crust served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. He asked for it to be cooked medium, but it was more like medium-well; he still really enjoyed it though. A kids pepperoni pizza rounded out our entrees. Food timing seems to be a little off at Chill. We were happy we waited until after our appetizer arrived to put in our entrée order because the table next to us got their entrees within minutes of receiving their appetizer which always makes me feel so rushed. However, our entrées took a very long time to come out and our waitress never came over to give us an update on the status while we waited. Would be nice if they could find a happy-medium. All of the above set us back about $120. We would definitely return to try more apps and maybe a sandwich or pizza for a meal that's easier on the wallet. read more

We've been there twice and after the first visit I was impressed. The last time we were there, June 22nd, I was disappointed. The chicken parmigiana I ordered was terrible. I don't know how to explain it, but the chicken was "tough". I told the waiter and gave him my plate. The manager came up to him to tell him that he wanted him to tend to another table. The waiter told the manager about my dinner and the manager told him that he would take care of it. The waiter left to tend to the other table and the manager walked away with my plate. Not one word to me about my dinner. No apology, no explanation, no can I get you something else, nothing. He walked into the kitchen never to be seen again. Traveled 35 minutes based on positive online reviews and Phantom Gourmet video for Saturday evening patio dinner at Chill. Well, food was good but service was horrible. Need to wait excessively all night for everything except the check. When the hostess had to take and bring your drink order after no one acknowledged our presence for 15 minutes, there is a problem. Our server was a young girl who was nice but continued to apologize all night for messing up everything and all the delays. Chill is probably okay for takeout but going there for a quality service is not what we received. Very disappointing. read more

Had a great meal while in town for a hockey tournament. Started with a cup of the clam chowder, which was very good. For my main course I had the breakfast burger. 5 stars for our waitperson Mary!!! Amazingly patient, understanding, and accommodating. There are only 3 oils I will consume; olive oil, coconut oil, and avocado oil. While they do have olive oil in the restaurant, they use canola oil in their dressings and to cook with. By now most people know canola oil is highly inflammatory to the human body, as are most "seed" oils. Because I care about what goes into my body I always ask questions. Mary went to the kitchen 4 separate time to ask questions for me! She ended up bringing me olive oil and lemons to put on my salads which was great!!! I had the arugula and beet salad with grilled asparagus on top of it for an appetizer. Kudos to the kitchen for grilling my asparagus with no oil. The salad ingredients were fresh and flavorful!! For my entree I had the Chill chopped salad and added lobster. Absolutely delectable. Whole lobster tail and a few more pieces for plus $22. Well worth it. My significant other had the grass fed burger and proclaimed it was fabulous along with accompanying fries. Great value for the quality of the food and would give 5 stars but for the use of canola oil. I understand keeping costs down, ( I own and operate my business), but I would gladly have paid another $10 for the meal if the only oils used in the restaurant were the aforementioned 3!!!!! So I gladly added that $10 to Marys tip, she is certainly worthy of it. Wouldn't it be great if when you walked into a restaurant there was a sign that stated: "Because we care about your health and well being, we proudly use only EVOO, unrefined virgin coconut oil, or avocado oil in the preparation of our food, dressings, and sauces." Update 16 Sept 2018: Brunch here is fannnnnnnntastic!!!! We got here and somehow it was pretty empty 9:30AM. Good for us, bad for anyone else in the area that didn't decide to come here lol. Seriously, the sweet potato hash is sooo good and the Hollandaise sauce was absolute yummmmm. The steak and eggs was also delicious. You know when you sit trying to figure out the flavors in the original steak sauce is because it is so good you want to make it yourself. The staff was extremely accommodating including the owner. Our waiter Johnathan gets props for being super helpful. I'm a Bloody Mary snob but the Bacon Bloody Mary is in my top 5 where my own Bloody Mary is number 2....yeah I just can't get it perfect yet . The dinner menu was great minus the beet salad (odd flavor pairing, possibly just for our tastebuds). The prices were on par for the menu. The beer list is mostly IPA (not my fave but oh well onto the mixed drinks). The musician was great, she was playing a lot a recognizable covers in her own style and so I tipped her well. I forget the exact name, but were muddled Blueberry and mint spritzers. Homemade and Refreshing for a 93 degree day. The food I thought was good, but not exceptional. I got a crabcake sandwich for $14 and she got a small arugula salad with grilled salmon for $13. I wish the fries that came with my sandwich were handcut, not frozen fries... But they were still tasty. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The crabcake sandwich was cooked well and had a lot of crab and only a little bit of filling which I obviously liked... But I found the flavor to be a little off for whatever reason. Wasn't bad.. Just wasn't that to-die-for crab cake I was looking for. I think it's die to not using lump blue crab meat. The crab inside was the "stringier" kind and less flavorful. All in all though I would certainly give this place another shot and I hope they succeed. Food 3.5 stars. Service 5 stars. You can tell the staff and the owner really care. Maybe they'll think about using hand cut fries from now on, as I just think there's no beating the real McCoy. read more

Just tried this place for the first time today. The food was delicious and drinks were great! The staff was super kind and accommodating. They have gluten free options for most of their menu and they have mocktails for sober customers.
