I have only been here once and it was for a takeout lunch order , PRE covid. The person that took our order on the phone was friendly, but unfortunately forgot to actually register the order to the system, so when I arrived, nothing was ready. The manager, who also happened to be the person that took our order (I forget her name) noticed the issue here and rapidly placed in our order, and did NOT charge us. It was very sweet and kind of her and demonstrated excellent customer service. The restaurant is very lovely inside, and they also have a nice deck outside. Parking is shared, but you should never run into an issue finding a spot. I cannot wait to go back here one day and eat/drink there this time. Went to Chill with a large family group for Easter dinner. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was plentiful and tasty.

I stopped in to chill for lunch! I had the French dip with A glass of Malbec! My lunch was excellent! My server was Kayma. She was excellent and very knowledgeable about the menu! This place was amazing... Let me explain: My wife and I made a reservation for 7:45pm on a Friday. We got there a few minutes early, but had to wait until 7:55 or so to be seated, which I didn't mind at all. The manager, Johnny was very nice and apologetic about the wait. He even came to check on us a few times during our meal to make sure that things were going well. Service was perfect - Michaela, our server, was super attentive and very friendly. The food was spot on as well. We had the steak & cheese rolls for the appetizer, Caesar salads, steak frittes, and the short ribs. All were cooked perfectly. The live music was the perfect touch. Please support your local restaurants right now, especially Chill! Normally we go here 3/4 times a month but obviously it's not happening right now. Last night we ordered our 3rd meal here during the quarantine. And it was amazing as always. We got the Chill Burger with sweet potato fries, cooked to perfection. French Dip, I don't know what they marinate their beef in but it's always perfect and just the right amount of rare. And finally meatball app. Everything was great, as it always is. I've lived in Marlborough for a year now, and this is hands down the best joint in the village. And they haven't lost anything during these hard times. The pickup is super easy and "social distance approved" you walk in, if your food is ready is on the table with your check and a pen. All I can say is if you haven't been there, it's well worth a try during covid and you may just find yourself a new joint to become a regular like us once this is over. What a wonderful find for weekend brunch! Can't wait to try drinks and appetizers next visit. I had the lobster Benedict and it was absolutely delicious! I am picky about hollandaise and in this case expected the hollandaise to be a little extra acidic for the lobster--it was perfectly acidic! English muffin perfectly toasted and crispy. The breakfast potatoes were also perfectly cooked and seasoned--very tasty. I have to note that the eggs were just slightly undercooked. Poached eggs should not have any runny whites--I don't know why that is so difficult. But I still have to give this place a 5 because everything else, including service and decor, were perfect. read more

Loved it! Had the Shepard's pie. It came in a piping hot small cast iron skillet, delicious. Beet salad is excellent with a nice presentation. Our waitress Natasha was very attentive and able to make wine suggestions. Everything was so good we went back for lunch next day. I haven't tried anything close so I stopped in and to my surprise it was a very upscale place for the area. Very nice bar and entry area. Well designed dining room with a luxurious feel to the place. I had the fish and chips, some of the other orders at the table where steak tips and burgers as well as kids meals. Drinks were good and meals came out with decent timing. Everything was hot and fresh and the portions were decent. I can't think of a bad thing to say about this restaurant except that the prices are a bit high for that type of every day fare. This place is super confusing! The bar area is really chic and elegant, and the floors, walls and trimming are really clean cut. But the booths and tables are cheap looking like they belong in a Friendlys and not here. THEN you look at the drink menu and you go - WHAT?! We came in on a very rainy Saturday for brunch and my husband had a super spicy Bloody Mary that KNOCKED his socks off! Our server, Alice, was all of that and more - attentive, sweet, funny and knows the menu like a boss. My son had the brunch burger with an egg on it. The meat was juicy and very flavorful and the "well done" fries were super crunchy! My husband had the breakfast sandwich and it was perfect. The crab cakes on my bennie were the wehwehweh... lots of panko, no flavor and not a lot of crab. BUT the hollandaise was really good and the eggs were perfect. I judge breakfast based on pancakes, so I ordered my 1 lonely specimen. REAL maple syrup and very fluffy pancake - BUT they sweeten the batter too much and it has a fake after taste. NOT the worst but not the best. The drink menu will blow you away. DEFINITELY coming for burger Wednesday $5 burger or appetizers with some friends! wow, I love this place. everything, from start to finish was executed perfectly and the staff was so friendly and helpful. it's casual, but the food and attention from the servers elevates the whole experience so many great options on the menu, but standouts are the Steak and Cheese egg rolls. they use high quality meat (rib-eye I believe) and onions with cheese, so it's like a mini-cheese steak sandwich in a fried roll. but the egg roll is not the greasy thick crust you might find in a another restaurant, it's light and thin and barely holds all the yummy meat inside. I can't imagine not ordering this any time I return. the other great starter is clams casino. I'm not sure it's always on the menu, but the clams are fresh and not chopped up with tons of breading as you might find elsewhere. and come topped with a nice piece or thick bacon (or perhaps pancetta?) the big hit on the mains was a seafood stew that was a special that night, but we kept telling the staff it should be a regular item. a light but creamy broth, loaded with shrimp, white fish (haddock?) and clams. it was really special. kudos to the chef for this one! wine list was good. I'm from Northern California so study every wine list carefully. I would have liked to see a few more higher end selections, but I also realize I might not be the target customer. they had a very nice selection of micro-brews (heavily weighted with local IPAs) and a very interesting cocktail menu. I had their version of a Manhattan which was delicious. I don't often come to Marlborough, but will absolutely be coming here every time I visit. Highly recommended!!! read more

The Chill Kitchen & Bar I can see as more of a hang out. The Bar area is great to watch the game, the food is good and casual. They do have a great beer selection and the prices are decent. That being said, I have been there a few times and sat on the restaurant side and they run out of food on the menu, meals have taken unusually long to come out of the kitchen, waiters and waitress fail to acknowledge that some one is even sitting at a table waiting for them to get service..... I found that if I sit on the bar side I get better service all around, it's just not great for kids.
