Green river and Strawberry with Lihing powder
    Daniel T.

Came after dental implant and thought to try since my favorite Shimazu's moved far away. Service is good. They have a bucket of bubbles if you have kids. It's awesome they have sugar free flavors (I got strawberry and green river) & I'm glad they have a prime location for those heading north shore. BUT, honestly, first couple bites of the shave ice were hard and no flavor. I gave it a few more bites, but still yet.. ice was just crunchy. Maybe needed more syrup for sure to keep it from crunching up all hard. If I had to rate it, I'd equate it to mainland kine shave ice, not the soft local I'm used to. Perhaps it's the machine they use, just isn't the Hawaii style shaver. Hope they can figure out thru R&D their way though.

Blue raspberry, mango, and green river. Topped with condensed milk and vanilla ice cream.

We found this little gem when we are going around exploring on our honeymoon. The owner was putting out HUGE bubbles with his kids, which made the ambiance super chill and friendly. The service was awesome- both owners were friendly and attentive to our food orders. The ice was so soft, creamy, and dreamy. We ate it sitting down on the bench next to the food truck. The bubbles and the mountains were you wonderful. If you are around the area, come check this awesome mom and pop food truck for some delicious Hawaiian ice!

He was so sweet & friendly! Awesome customer service!

Thursday, August 22, 2024: We were in an STR in Kaneohe and we were in search of some goodies! My brother, sister, son, and I saw this truck when we were buying malasadas nearby. We love supporting small & local businesses. We came up to the window and we were warmly welcomed by the nice young man. It took a while to make a choice but I settled on mango, sour apple, and watermelon. Unsure of what everybody else ordered. These delightful concoctions were huge and so very good! The young man conversed with my brother & sister and asked where we were from. Then he gave us some nice souvenir lanyards. Island people are so hospitable and really demonstrate that Aloha spirit. I know the rest of our family members came to get their shaved ice, too! We sat outdoors on benches by the food truck in a parking lot taking in that paradise island air relishing in our onolicious Hawaiian chilled dessert. Weather was perfect for eating Blazzing Hawaiian Chiller Express shaved ice! Wish you were in California!

Shave Ice in Kaneohe, Oahu, Hawaii... My neighbor pointed out this new Food Truck (with a train theme) in the parking lot of Windward Mall... next to the Leonard's Malasadamobile... on the corner of Haiku Road and Kamehameha Highway... It's been in our neighborhood for almost a month now... Blazzing Hawaiian Chiller Express used to be in the Kapolei area (the Leeward side of the island). This relatively new Small Local Business is run by a nice couple named Art and Carrie. They said they're going to expand the menu to include steak and crab! Wow! When i walked up to the window, I was greeted/helped right away. The menu was cheerfully explained - get up to 3 flavors in a bowl for $7.50. Toppings such as homemade mochi balls, ice cream, azuki beans, etc. have an additional charge. The list of flavors was intriguing. I finally decided on Butter beer, pickled mango, and watermelon (for color). I liked the variety and the fine texture of the fluffy ice! It was a generous portion! I wasn't able to finish! The lollipop was a cute addition! When you stop by, remember to get a Loyalty Card... and ring the bell for Good Luck! #supportLocal #supportSmallBusiness

Very fine shaved ice, no chunky ice pieces, generous amount of syrup without paying extra. Small is huge and includes 3 flavors, medium is more big and larger is humongous! Prices are reasonable. The owners are super nice. Definitely would go back. I had a small with 3 choices of syrup: coconut, lychee, banana topped with condensed milk, $1 extra. Loved it so much I forgot to take a photo. To keep the kids and adults occupied there's a bucket of bubble soap to make bubble designs!

My mom is addicted to this place. The shave ice is literally like soft fluffy fresh snow, zero chunks of ice. I grew up on a certain shave ice place in Haleiwa and another one in Kailua (both probably the most well known), and back in the day their ice was really soft like that but over the years it's just crunchy. These guys have lots of awesome flavors and all bowls come with a lollipop. The kiddies love the Stitch bubble machine and the employees are really friendly and fun to talk to. They also have a punch card, so make sure you get one cause I know whoever you are will become a repeat customer. They do have benches to sit on, but we like to open up the back of the van and people/car watch from the shade of the van. Keep in mind this truck doubles as a steak/crab popup over by Jack in the Box in the late afternoon/evening, so make sure you go earlier before you miss out!

All the flavors are perfect! Nothing goes wrong. Very sweet owners. It is certainly a vibe eating there.

Great shave ice on the Windward side. Located at the Windward Mall Parking Lot. Near old Macy's by Leonard's Malasadas. We had the keiki size for $5.50 plus add ice cream and snow cap for additional cost. Friendly service even their son was so helpful and sweet. Benches to sit. Comes with a lollipop for that extra special touch. Would definitely come back.

    Best Shave Ice

Best shave ice in town. Lots of flavors to select from. The ice was so soft. The small was actually huge. My son and I shared Chiller #2 with lihing and mango syrup, topped with vanilla ice cream, azuki beans, mochi and condensed milk. Definitely 10/10! Can't wait to try other flavors!

This is my first review of 2026!…read more Tonight I enjoyed the sticky rice with chicken anticucho and it is my favorite meal of 2026 so far. The chicken thighs were beautifully seasoned and slightly charred. The meat was cooked all the way through yet still juicy with bone in thigh. The purple sticky rice was perfectly done and I love the texture of sticky rice in general. The plate also came with sliced cucumbers and pickled mustard greens (reminiscent of Vietnamese pickled mustard greens - but in a much more vibrant green color). My favorite part of the meal was the tart and aromatic sauce that came in the meal. If you're not a fan of lime juice and fish sauce, you may want to use sparingly. However, I was thoroughly enjoying the sauce and when accompanied with a bit of the mustard greens, it toned down the sour aspect of the flavor profile. Overall, so delicious and I would love to find them again and enjoy more of their menu items!

Using Yelp's Mobile Food Trucks search will identify them but you need to use another app to actually find out where they are. I ran across them on a weekend in my neighborhood and stopped by. The food is a fusion of Peruvian and Laotian by husband-wife team, Juan Ching and Kim Thepsenavong. There is a long history of Japanese cuisine fusing with Peruvian - it's called Nikkei. But other Asian cuisines, especially Southeast Asian, also blend seamlessly with Peruvian staples. Think about the heavy use of pepper and spice in Laotian cuisine. You've been in restaurants where the heat scale is hot, Thai hot, and Laotian hot. Peppers were only introduced into Southeast Asia in the 16th century. Peru is one of the recognized birthplaces of peppers, with over 300 varieties and a 7,500 year history of cultivation. Peruvian Laotian fusion works when you do it right. I had a beef anticuchos skewers plate with Laotian accompaniments. The anticuchos had a nice smokey sweet dark color from aji panca paste. The rice was Laotian, with black and white grains of sticky rice. There was pickled Laotian som pak, a vinegar marinated mustard cabbage. A fine blended salsa-like jeow mak len, full of charred tomato smokiness, savory paedek fish sauce, garlic, shallot, bird's eye chiles, and lime, was terrific on top of the marinated beef. I hope I run into Khao and Papas again one day so I can try their grilled chicken. Until then, I have the memory of a fine take-out plate of Peruvian Laotian fusion comfort food.
