Despite driving by literally twice a day to get to work, this spot really wasn't on my radar until…read moreI got their mailing ads for their summer family pool membership promo. We joined last year, and the deal was something like four months for $200 for the family? Don't quote me on that but I'll be on the lookout again this year. The location is definitely on the older side but staff were nice. We got a full tour and all of our questions answered when we joined, which was a touch lengthier of an experience than I would have expected but you could really tell that the staff here care about their jobs. They also shared useful info for my toddler and upcoming programming for her age range, which was a nice touch. Despite having access to their classes, we only went for the outdoor pool. There are a few shaded areas with turf to bring your towels or chairs and stake out a spot while the kids splash around, it does get crowded at peak times. There are plenty of lifeguards and staff around to keep an eye on things for safety. There's basically a wading area with a climbing structure on one end, and a deeper pool for older kids with bigger slides and lanes at the other end. Every hour or so there's a swimming test check and everyone gets out for that. My toddler is still a new and tentative little fish, so we mostly sat along the wall in the knee-deep area and practiced floating and splashing. The pool area has loud and family-appropriate music playing for a fun atmosphere, and you can get safety vests as needed. Kids are fairly well behaved with parents and staff around. Locker rooms and bathrooms are dated but as expected, no issues. Everything has always been clean. If you don't have a membership, you can pay a daily fee - as a bonus, the first hour of pool access each day is for members only, which is a calmer time to take smaller kids if it doesn't conflict with naptime. On another kid-related note, I do appreciate that we can pretty much bring whatever toys, drinks, and snacks we want here - you'll see some families with full on coolers to spend the day here. If I could suggest some improvements to the pool area/experience, I would love to see a shade structure added to the tables/chairs by the check-in booth. It appears that they used to operate a snack bar (which would also be nice, but I understand it's not a priority) and the seating is there but completely useless when it's 100+ outside. That space could really be utilized if it was covered.

My family and I have been coming here for fitness classes for over 15 years and that cycling…read more"studio" they use has always been HORRIBLE. When the weather starts heating up, that room gets so hot it's impossible to work out. I swear the A/C doesn't work for that room, or it never had AC installed, because it seems like it was originally meant to be a storage room. The best ventilation you can get in that room is when they have to move the location of the class to the main gym because kids use that room during the summer (which I can't even imagine how hot it must be for them during the summer, how is that even safe?) They tried adding a few fans scattered around the room to help cool it down, but the only thing those fans do is blow hot air around. I've even resorted to purchasing several mini fans that I bring to class with me and attach to my bike, which is so ridiculous. There are also several people who have been coming for a while who completely colonize the fans in the room and move them to where they're ONLY POINTING TOWARDS THEM. I can't believe I have to fight for proper ventilation while I'm trying to exercise. Please fix the awful cooling system or move the class somewhere that actually has working AC, it's the same story whenever the weather heats up and it's been that way for 15+ years before it was even Les Mills RPM. Why am I paying $60+ a month to die in Las Vegas because YMCA can't fix their AC?

When we arrived there was no front desk agent and the lady watching the front desk did her best to get us checked in and to our locker areas. Our massage was scheduled for 9:00 we were on time but I guess due to the call in from staff we waited in the couples waiting area and then we were escorted to our room to start our massage after 9:00 am. My massage felt a bit rushed. The facility was very clean. The snacks area could be better. They only had popcorn in a tub and raisins with mixes in nuts. Also they had water and teabags for tea. Facility seems more upscale and should have better snacks. We didn't use the gym but it seemed new and nice. The outside co- ed area seemed clean but was full by the time we were done with our massage. There was a couple day bed areas you could reserve. And maybe 5 sets of lounge chairs for first come first serve. All staff was friendly

Love this place! It is located in the plaza next to Taco Bell and has ample parking…read more COST - As for pricing, it was $30/kid per drop-in lesson. And if you want to do semi private for 2 kids, it is $27.50/kid per lesson. For private, it is $55/kid per lesson. We did semi-private because it's more fun for our kids to go together but the group lesson is overwhelming for my kid and he gets less swim time. Semi-private allows for little breaks for each kid between exercises but enough swim time. For group lessons, which is about 3-5 kids, it's approx. $24/kid per lesson but you might be with people or kids you don't know. Our kids are 4 years old and at the first level, which is starfish. This level teaches them to go underwater and glide, basic stuff. And at the end, they do playtime with toys. It's good for beginners. The lessons are all half an hour (30 m). And you pay every month for the whole month. You can do once or twice a week, you can even do more times per week, but once a week worked well for us. You make a profile and put your credit card on file. Then you check-in for your lesson and they tell you what number to stand at. They are always on time so that's great. You know what to expect. FACILITIES - There is an air conditioned watching section and a bunch of chairs around the pool that is a non-air conditioned room. Thus, you can watch from wherever you are comfortable. If your kid is scared, the teacher will even let you sit by the pool to give them confidence during the first lessons. That's what I had to do with my kid. But now I sit far away at a chair and he is fine. There is also a co-ed locker room with toilets, changing rooms, and showers. It is not air conditioned, but it is very clean and there are doors on the changing rooms and toilets for privacy, but the showers have no curtains. So if you shower your kid or yourself, you can just do it with your swimsuit on and then change. They give you a tour during your first lesson if you show up 5-10 m early. PAYMENT, SCHEDULING, and STAFF - For payment, you can split the payment between two people, but you need to call or text them every month before the payment posts for Rebecca to process it. She is the manager at this location and SUPER amazing. She knows how to do everything, has passion for her work, staff, and the kids. She also knows how to do pretty much everything. So if you are in a jam, just call and ask for Rebecca to help. Her attitude is super friendly, inviting, and professional. Getting on the schedule might be something that will deter you because if your case is complicated, you will probably need to track down Rebecca to help. But it is worth it!!! At first, we were hesitant to sign up for lessons because it seemed difficult to get on their schedule--for drop-in lessons, they can only schedule lessons a week in advance and the spots fill up quick! We wanted to go with a couple of friends so it made coordinating schedules extra difficult esp because we could only book drop-ins via phone and not online. Less complicated cases (one child, one family), it will be easy. And once you are on the schedule, it is reoccurring so extra easy. Eventually, we were able to find a good date and time, and I am so glad we did! We now go for weekly lessons with Mr. Enrique who is awesome. He pushes the kids enough to make progress but not so much that they freak out and never want to come back. And we now just schedule everything in person at the desk when everyone is present to avoid it getting too complicated. Pro tip - for easier scheduling the first time, select centennial hills location at the menu option to get someone working directly at the centennial center vs the general call center. This is also how you would reach Rebecca, if she is working. You can also email them, which will get you a response too, I'm case they are super busy and you can't get through right away. BABY - Finally, we also did some of the free baby lessons. These are the ones where you go in the water with your baby. This is for under 2s and the pricing is the same for 30 ms. Lots of singing and water play. You can also do dives with the baby or not. They are very respectful and do not pressure you to dunk your baby if you aren't comfy. If you do baby classes, you must have a reusable swim diaper. If you don't have one, they have available for purchase at the desk. So...overall, I would recommend this place! It's a nice facility and reasonable pricing. Plus, the staff all want to help and are friendly.
