Cima in Orlando Florida was different and they served the best meats from start to finish. plus they also served grilled pineapple which you can't get everywhere -- none of the Chicago restaurants serve it. it was great. The meats were very fresh and tasty. And the salad bar was top notch, all fresh with a wide variety of choices. they offered Great service, too. They charge an 18 percent service charge -- but I added more to bring the tip to 20 percent, and gave some of the servers tips too because they were all great. the ambiance is so bright, inspiring and makes the dinner even better. Let's start off with this place decor is so sleek and modern warmness. I like that they're venturing away from most of the common decor around town. The moment you get into the establishment you are greeted and checked in. Then we were guided to our seating area, which was right next to the live music that we enjoyed the entire time while we were there. Singing and dancing slightly side swaying. It started off with the explanation from our friendly server who explained that the salad bar had some warm items and some salads. You could get up as many time as you wanted. Once I went to the gourmet salad bar, I noticed that they had some white rice, black beans with pork, some potatoes in a creamy sauce, . They also had a tomato soup. They had different type of sauces. If you wanted to grab some for the table for example, mint jelly, chima suace, or steak sauce. Keep in mind they do serve the Brazilian cheese bread, with a turkey spread which was yummy, along with the unlimited access to the Gourmet Salad Bar, featuring more than 35 fresh selections, including gourmet salads, charcuterie, beef carpaccio, smoked salmon hot dishes, seasonal vegetables, and more. I would share more items but you have to go to experience it. Everything I tried with the magical dining experience was the regular sausage, Aji chicken thighs, garlic sirloin, gauchos, Garlic Picanha, Jalapeño Chimichurri Picanha, Filet Mignon Wrapped in Bacon, Lamb Picanha, Shrimp, Brazilian Sausage, and Grilled Coalho Cheese with Honey. Decided to try China today because of a special price $49. The dining room was very elegant compare to other Brazilian steakhouses I've been too. The music was amazing. It was covers of top 40 remade in a slow smooth style. They have Coke products which is a plus. The buffet area had amazing choices. Not the largest choices compared to others but very good. I really enjoyed the street corn and Quinoa salad. For meat, the beef and sausages very good. The chicken was missing flavor. The lamb was too chewy. The grilled pineapple was a show stopper. I'm extremely disappointed with the service we received, especially considering we were a party of 15. You would think a table that large would receive some attention and organization, but unfortunately, that was far from our experience. We were repeatedly forgotten about when it came to being served meat. Yet, when they finally came around to our table, they consistently skipped over half the table, leaving us with empty plates while everyone else was being served. We were even asked which items we wanted, but despite having empty plates, those items still weren't brought to us. When we brought it to our server's attention again, she looked flustered, and by that point, we were ready for the bill. To make matters worse, while the meat was finally being served, the person carving it got grease all over my pants. Instead of an apology or acknowledgment, I was looked at as if I had somehow done something wrong. Mistakes happen, I completely understand that but the lack of urgency, communication, empathy, and basic courtesy was extremely disappointing. For a party of 15, we expected much better service. This is a comment about about the discriminatory practice of Restaurant Economics which the restaurant abides by. I tried to make a reservation for dinner via Open Table. I am a solo diner (as I just moved here and literally do not know anyone) and when i asked for a specific time i was informed it was not available but other times later in the evening were available. I changed the number of my party to 2 to see what would happen and to my surprise a table at the time i wanted to dine was avail. I called the restaurant to discuss and was told that was the way it was and there was nothing that could be done.. I could understand if all you had were tables for 4 or more but i know you had an accommodation for a table for 2. Discriminating against a solo diner because the restaurant feels they will be losing money is despicable. I was looking forward to dining here because of the reviews i had read but i think that's doubtful to happen as long as this behavior continues. read more

Had a wonderful visit to this Brazilian steakhouse that is located on restaurant row on Sand Lake. Immediately upon entrance, we were greeted in a very friendly manner. We sat at the bar because we were coming for happy hour. Happy hour is from 5-7 pm. They have a great happy hour with martinis and old-fashioned for only seven or eight dollars. They also had an absolutely beautiful buffet station set up with all of the trimmings, fruits, vegetables, and sides that you would need to accompany your meats. They also have people walking around the restaurant with beautiful meat presentations. The seafood salad was delicious. The burger sliders and fries were also delicious. The drinks were amazing. Our server, Katrina, was awesome. A manager even came by to check in on us to make sure that we were having a good time. They also have an award-winning wine cellar. It was also an additional plus that there was live music and she informed us that there is live music every Wednesday and Saturday. We waited very long to get our check after asking for it three times. Most of the time with our waiter was him trying to upsell us on an already expensive meal. We came for a birthday celebration. When we arrived, the hostess told us they had a treat for us at the end. We did not order dessert and upon asking for the check, they brought out a small slice of cheesecake, stating that it was a birthday gift. Turns out the birthday gift costs $10. To start, we had reservations at 7:30p, my new wife and I who are on our honeymoon show up at 7:07pm. A party of 12, a party of 4 (w/a baby), and another party of 2 are seated before us with or without reservations, who knows. I was asked 3 times for my name. At 7:42p we were finally seated in the back left of the restaurant, furthest from the salad bar. The server and the valet were nice and that's about it. The front of the house did not make us feel welcome, asking us to either sit at the bar (which we don't drink), or the lounge where leftover drinks from others stayed the whole time. We were finally seated, my wife wanted to leave but we went along with it, thinking the food and experience would make up for it... With our cards flipped we didn't start to get meat until about 8:05pm (20 min after being seated). Our server attended to us well with water plus the cheesecake at the end which I asked to have to go when a party of 20 was seated behind us and clearly got all attention from the staff. We will never return to this location, we will choose Eddie V or the Melting Pot over this Chima. We felt unwelcome here. This was by far the worst part of our honeymoon. Good luck. read more

We often choose steakhouses for special occasions, so I felt confident booking this location for Valentine's Day. I personally do not eat steak, due to allergy but I obliged my partner and did my due diligence by reviewing the menu beforehand. Based on what was listed, I felt comfortable that there would be sufficient seafood options available. Unfortunately, once we were seated, we were informed that there was a fixed Valentine's Day menu, but his was fine. Throughout our service, nearly every cut imaginable was offered flank steak, strip, filet, ribeye literally every beef option on rotation. Meanwhile, salmon came around once (after multiple requests to the server), and chicken and shrimp were only offered twice within a 90-minute window. Unless you were there strictly for beef, the variety felt extremely limited and unbalanced. For a holiday menu, I expected clearer communication and more thoughtful non-beef options, especially once especially to the server. I left disappointed and will not be returning. While the lemon caipirinha is the traditional one and its acidity balances the fattiness of some of the meats, I'd go with the passionfruit one for a refreshing twist and unique tropical flavor. - Service: Very attentive and friendly. I felt that the offerings at the salad bar were ok, although the lettuce was not well stocked enough for my salad at the time I visited. But, the smoked salmon, meats, and cheeses were great. As far as the meat served, it was perfect with my favorites being the filet and picanha. Sometimes when it comes to all you can eat, I have had experiences where the food was low in quality and you can tell some places are just trying to make money off of you. Some highlights for me: vegetable soup, polenta fries, chicken, shrimp, ribs, and the creme brûlée! Everything was yummy but those were my favorites. The food was always hot! They had all the cuts of meat -filet, chicken, sausage, top sirloin, melt in your mouth beef bone, and grilled cheese and pineapple. The sides were amazing. The fries were fresh cut and addictive, polenta was crispy and mash potatoes extra creamy plus cheese bread. The service was spot on and she was always there to check on us.
