He was on another job, and took time out to explain some things that I required regarding my chimney. He presented his card to me and I advised him he might be hearing from me. I called the office a few weeks later and scheduled an appointment with another gentlemen and owner Matt Mousseau. He also was very pleasant and easy to work with. Brett came out and installed a stainless steel chase cover, and cleaned the interior of the fireplace. He also repainted my fire box. After completion, everything looked brand new and was ready for this winter. He cleaned everything up with no issues. Brett display a very professional manner about him. It was a great experience to deal with CHIMNEY USA from the start, when I set the appointment, to the work results. I truly value their expertise and, above all, their honesty. In fact, after cleaning and inspecting my fireplace, Matt mentioned that the top of the chimney showed a few cracks (documented by photos) that in the future might create leaks. I recently contacted Chimney USA for a chimney cleaning. Matt called and we made an appointment for the next day. He sent an email reminder and called 30 minutes before arriving. He was also right on time, so even before he arrived, I was already impressed with his professionalism. He investigated and found that our chimney really didn't need cleaning. During his inspection, which he documents for you with his camera, he showed us several cracks in the chimney apron. I needed to make another appointment to have that fixed, since my husband wanted to be home for that. Matt was easy to schedule and quick to respond. We were having some new gas fire logs installed and the seller/installer gave us Matt's card to do an inspection and cleaning before the gas logs are to be installed. Matt is great, he has been cleaning our chimneys for years. He always takes his time and makes sure they are ready to go. We burn a couple cords of wood a year so he is the only one I would trust to make sure we don't have a chimney fire. One of the great things about them is that they are one of the most honest companies I have dealt with. We have one chimney in our house that does not work and Matt told us what would need to be done and even showed me in the fire box what was wrong. They inspected the chimney and found cracks and even took pictures so we could see the cracks! It wasn't just their word, like some others, they showed us how dangerous and unusable it was.
