Did a pick up order through phone service was a "what you like" type of service hence why gave them four stars instead of five. But it's was okay maybe that's just how it is. I got the crispy beef, also known as the Hunan beef with the fried rice . Fried rice was bland need to add a little soy sauce for taste, but the crispy beef has so much flavor because I did take out. It wasn't as crispy but still good with a nice spice.. I will come back because the food here is really unexpected. Would want to see what else is on the menu. The Malasadas was good very sweet , can be addicting after 2 or 3 be careful. great deal for Chinese food. Need to try the lunch special next time Let me know what you think. read more

It's Friday 7/12/24 at about 2:00 pm. This place is located in the smiths parking lot. Lots of free parking. It's a mid size Chinese restaurant. Well kept and clean. Whenever someone left the table was cleaned immediately. I was greeted upon arrival and thanked when it was time to leave. My waitress came several times to see if I needed anything. She always had a smile. I had a lunch special for $9.55 which included soup and some won ton chips. Great value. The food was served hot and fresh. The food came out almost instantly, so you know it's not cooked to order. The vegetables were crisp. Nothing seemed to have been sitting too long. The restaurant had a steady flow of customers who ordered without the help of a menu. To me this showed a good amount of regulars that are happy with the food and staff. It wa almost the perfect lunch until I watched one of the cooks blow his nose and continue cooking. They serve side in cans. I much rather fountain drinks with free refills. read more

I am from LA and I am not basing this on LA reviews but the quality and price has changed. It used to be they would give better portions and for Chinese fast food, not bad quality. $10 for beef or chicken kung pao. along with other dishes for a similar price. While I am not going to say they are 1 star, for Chinese fast food, I used to give this place 4 stars. I would now give it two stars for the following reasons. What I like the Service and the Ambiance. For a fast food Chinese eatery, the store is always clean ,which shows that thoe owner does take some pride in their business. And on top of that, they cook the food fast. They are near my house in Las Veags so I would used to come during lunch time. What I hate , they do put in an extra 18% charge on your pick up order. To me that is a bit excessive if you are just PICKING UP. I can understand charging the customer $3 if you want to deliver it to them. However, I should not be charged 18% for pick up, the MAX it should be is maybe 8-10%(and that is if you are greedy). 18% means on a $50 pick up order, you are being charged an extra $9, to me that is unfair and gouging. What I dislike It used to be the quality of the food was good but now it is just mediocre. In fact i am being nice when I say that. They are trying to Americanize it by adding a ton of sugar in the food. On top of that they put MSG on it. Not only that but the the portions have gotten noticably smaller from a year or two ago. I normally don't write negative reviews because I hate to heart small business as a veteran but here is another problem I have. They used to be responsible and accountable. If they messed up your order, they would make it right. Last time, I ordered half and half rice and noodles and I got all noodles, along with no flavor beef for my kung pao beef noodles. They are dishonest they do not say that they add 18% for pick up. Again, I understand charging a couple of dollars for delivery but pick up is over the top and at near 20%. I said I'd bring back lunch for my crew. I saw the "open" sign and wandered in. It's simple Cantonese food made to order, not a Panda-style steamer. I ordered Pepper Chicken, Sweet & Sour Chix, BBQ pork fried rice, and Egg Foo Yung for myself. It was all good stuff! I especially liked the young woman at the register. My Dad wanted egg drop soup so I visited this place for my first time. When I walked in, I was greeted right away and the team members energy was high and very joyful. I ended up adding on egg rolls and hot and sour soup for myself after she recommended that the hot and sour soup was her favorite and she planned to eat it that night herself. She was so kind and warm and I figured I wanted to ask her name so I could leave her a review as many people don't often enjoy being at work as much as she displayed. Her name is Audrey. I specifically ordered plain hot and sour soup and ended up with seafood hot and sour (a separate menu item). Be aware if you have a shellfish allergy, this restaurant might kill you. I fell for the B1G1 small orange chicken deal, and ended up with two small cartons of soggy, overbreaded, bland chicken nuggets that were not worth the price, even at half off. The mapo tofu was good, though quite pricey for a simple dish, and the peas were a bit desiccated. This restaurant is close to my house, so delivery was quick, but I'd have happily waited a little longer for food prepared with more care and accuracy. With so many generic Chinese places in the area, this is one to AVOID. read more

We've been here several times since it's just near our house. Their superpower here is SPEED. Whether it's delivery or to-go, it's insanely fast. The food quality is pretty solid for fast Chinese. It's what you would expect. The Buddha's Delight is our fave - tons of fresh veggies and fried tofu. Sometimes the broccoli tastes a little off. However, the chicken is usually pretty dry (probably cooked from frozen or used throughout the day). I would not recommend the chicken teriyaki for that reason. Also, the people who work here aren't friendly. Don't expect any thank yous. Granted they are busy, but I always appreciate a little gratitude for a tip or a big order. read more

We continue to go to this restaurant, and have for several years. We also regularly get delivery from them. They provide their own delivery, not third party. We went today for lunch specials again, and this time we got the black bean fish and General Tso's chicken. Both of them were delicious, and served with rice and noodles and soup with chips and dip. You just can't beat their lunch deals, still for under $10. All of their prices are reasonable, and their portions are large. The hot garlic shrimp and chop suey are always delicious. Not to mention how delicious everything else is! They make all of their own sauces, and they have many - all tasty. It's a mini mall location. There are only about 7 tables or so, and it's not anything fancy inside. Just a nice clean place to sit down and eat their food. Good service. What a great little restaurant. The server was so helpful and kept our table stocked with all the condiments we needed. My wife had the Kung Poa chicken. It came with steamed rice and was delicious. If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered shrimp and broccoli with garlic from a picture they had on their menu. I live 30 minutes away and once I got home I realized they made shrimp and broccoli in brown sauce. If you know Chinese food then you know there's a difference. The shrimp was not even fresh and I couldn't get myself to drive all the way back. The young lady that answered the phone said she was the only English speaker and said she didn't take my order. Well the person that took my order spoke english. Either way she said all they could do was a credit for next time. I told her I would call the credit card company because I wasn't about to drive all the way back. She then replied HAVE FUN WITH THAT and hung up the phone. I wish the owner knew how terrible the front staff is and how much business they're losing because of them. read more

For a quick chinese takeout, it's not a bad choice. They even have Thai food in their menu if you can believe that. It just depends on timing. I was tired working all day and didn't have time to cook. So this cheap hole in the wall in the Smiths grocery store strip mall off Charleston fits the bill. Don't just go and show up there. I called and ordered the shrimp in lobster sauce and curry fried rice. They make it fresh in the back. Tonight, I figured I mix it up a little. When I brought it home, I can see why it was so heavy. The styrofoam was overpacked with curry fried rice with lots of shrimp and chicken pieces! The shrimp in lobster sauce came in a tall plastic soup container filled to the brim! Luckily, it was wrapped in plastic and tied to avoid spillage. Anyway, I ate all the good parts, and there was plenty leftovers for another day. read more
