Shrimp shumai with shrimp chunks
Joyce T.

Service, price, freshness, variety and clean dining area. In and out for this good-2-go. My shrimp shumai packed w/a lot of shrimp chunks. Bau is a baseball size bau. Almost always someone in line, but it moves fast. I like the firm plastic to-go containers, too. You can look straight into the kitchen. A place for a quick bite or take out

Down left is tofu with pork in its sauce, up left is orange chicken, up right is chow mein, below that is white rice.

Can't give it 4 starts because all the other people that claim it is not chinese will be offended. Plus, I don't want those people showing up here and being felt misled from their panda express adventures. This is real low down Chinese food. Type you'd find in hidden alleys and Shady places. Ain't the best, nor the worst but it fills you up. To me it's 4 stars within that category. Don't eat here if you fancy Panda Express, more well-known Chinese food, or go to expensive "Chinese cuisine" type places. I'd go here again because I am used to this. Like it ain't your mommas cooking.

Great food, fast friendly service, dim sum is great, come here all the time, shrimp wonton noodle, Chinese food, all good!

I came here on Saturday morning in between running my errands. Located in a supermarket - very small. They do accept credit cards. I purchased the chicken rice wrapped in lotus paper, 1 har Gow, 1 sui Mai and 1 pork and chives dumpling. Came to $12 and some change. Employees are friendly. They also offer bbq duck and pork and other Chinese entrees. The chicken and rice and pork and chives dumplings were great. Everything was really delicious and warm. I definitely recommend and will return!

Cheap, good dim sum takeout? A girl can dream! Selection here is very limited, heavy on the buns, and sits under heat lamps for who-knows-how-long. Service was a bit lacking. I was disappointed with the selection, but they apparently can't (or wouldn't) make a fresh order. Employee present was unable to name a few of the dishes- not that she couldn't translate them to English, she couldn't tell me what the shrimp dish was because she didn't cook it! Prices are low, but your expectations should be, too. Majority of positive reviews are actually for non-dim-sum items, so maybe I'll have to give up on those offerings. I'll give this spot another try the next time I'm at the International Market, hopefully the selection and service will both improve.

Well it's definitely best bang for ya buck! It's good for take out but they also have seating area where you can eat there like in a food court. No restroom on sight and the view is their parking lot so not really for a date at any time unless you've been through thick and thin, this place is a very thin one for ya :D Food quality is not really up there but if you want some quick cheap meal then come get em. There meal plate start at $6 and the amount of food is like 2 meals for me. Their roasted duck is real oily (usually the case if you're not an expert on roasted duck) their shrimp Shumai is good, Hagow is not (rice wrap is too thick)

Sometimes, I love going grocery shopping, and seeking out the strangest things at the International Market. Most of the times, I'm good with the Hawaiian and Japanese food items, and not to mention the Chrysanthemum teas for one of my friends. Damn, she's drink that tea like how Adam Sandler's Zohan character can drink fizzy buballah. But today, before I walked into the market, there was a new edition added called Food 2 Go at the front entrance. Curiosity caught me, and I had to buy roast pork anyway. It's rather small takeout, and one thing for sure, this place is no Panda express, and more along the line of the deli at 168 Market. I picked up some roast pork (7.50 lbs) and decided not to buy a plate which was pretty cheap (2 choices and rice for 4.99). The counter girl wasn't Asian, but it didn't matter, because the cooks were all Chinese, and counter girl was totally cool. I'm starting to wonder why doesn't any Chinese takeout places like this in Las Vegas doesn't make any Rice Cakes? I seen Rice cakes all over Chinatown Los Angeles, and Monterey Park. Step it up Chinese restaurant owners in Vegas... I want some Rice Cakes! When I made it back home, I set up the roast pork with a few vegetables, and made dinner out of it. It had enough flavor to stand on it own. Not the best I ever had, but it was good.

Wonton soup with noodles was pretty good.

First, when we walked in, we were greeted right away! The staff were all really sweet and they came by often to check on us. We decided to order the crispy pork belly, the combination of 2 with noodles with bbq pork and duck, and beef chow fun. All were really really good! Our favorite was definitely the bbq pork. It was really tender, sweet, savory, and juicy! It was so good we had to order another side of bbq pork! This is a pretty small joint so I can see having a long wait on peak times. I love the ambiance inside with the asian designs. Love to be back again!

The dining area is long and narrow with vaulted ceilings, very high end Chinese decor mixed with a modern contemporary vibe in the lighting and the furnishings. You turn down the lights and it's definitely a date night type of place. The service was phenomenal from beginning to end. Alex took care of us from walking in all the way to dessert He was witty, funny and took the extra time to explain the intricacies of the dishes we inquired about. The experience was phenomenal lead by him and backed up by the kitchen and the rest of the team. He talked us into the duck special which came with duck soup, salt-n-pepper duck and whole duck carved at the table by Alex. Duck Soup - Delicious and savory broth. The cuts were tender and delicious. The best I've had in a long time. Salt N Pepper Duck - A crispy duck dish I've never had before. Good times. Guo Bao Pork - Creative, delicious and I understand why this is a feature dish. Green Beans - Perfect veggie pairing for all this food. The portions were so generous and I had 3 containers of food to take home for dinner. I appreciated the birthday dessert at lunch to finish off the experience. Well, that was a fantastic first visit. It definitely won't be the last as I see a dinner visit in the near future. Cheers!

Our favorite dishes were the Sizzling Beef in Black Pepper Sauce, Braised Sea Bass Clay Pot, Chili Fish Soup, and Green Beans. The duck was decent, but a but gamier and less oily and juicy than most of us were used to. We had higher expectations for the Sliced Beef and Ox Tongue in chili sauce. This is a cold appetizer which was fine, but did not have the depth of spice or aromatics that we were hoping for. Unfortunately the crispy beef wasn't great in our opinion and reminded me personally of the meat quality at Panda Express. Maybe this dish was meant to cater more to the Western palate. Service was relatively quick, including our duck being sliced up. The interior is elaborately decorated which surprised me as the building appears to be quite simple from the outside. I would consider visiting again next time I'm in the Vegas area.

It is located in the Trop Plaza on Tropicana Ave and Decatur Blvd. Plenty of parking. Spacious inside with lots of seating. Klaws and other games were near the entrance which I find interesting especially in a Chinese restaurant. We were greeted and seated right away. They weren't super busy on a Monday late morning. Our server was pleasant and amicable. He attended to us frequently throughout our dining. Other lady servers brought us our food timely. Thank you All! Menu offers quite a variety... reg dim sum, delicious dim sum, chef specialties, house specialties, super dim sum, vegan no-meat dim sum, congee, noodles, rice dishes, appetizers, entrees, lunch specials, and more. Prices of the dim sum vary from $5.98 and up. We chose a handful of dim sum and one Shrimp & Pork Wonton Egg Noodles. Overall, dim sum was decent. A few of them could have been better in preparation, flavor, and taste. Wonton noodles were tasty. *Bean Sauce Chicken Feet - skin was on the tougher side, could have been more tender, sauce was too thick, flavor was okay *Crispy Taro Pancake - top layer was crispy, but taro fell apart when picked up by chopsticks *Egg Tarts - light and flaky crust with soft, smooth & jiggly egg custard filling, amazingly good, definitely would get again, wished it came with 3 instead of 2, they are bigger than normal egg tarts, but still *Fried Pork Ball - just okay, nothing special *Golden Sand Lava - huge baked bun with lots of oozing sandy egg yolk, must get! *Shrimp Dumpling - full of shrimps in thin skin, tasty filling, good size, worth the price! *Shrimp & Pork Chives Dumpling - more chives than shrimp and pork, flavor was mediocre *Shrimp & Pork Shumai - surprisingly flavorful, but wished there was more shrimp than pork Glad we got a chance to try this place. I would return to try their other dim sum and lunch specials in future LV visits. Worth stopping by if you haven'ty already.

Dumplings like Hargow, and siu Mai tasted a little old. Wrapper dry and filling was denser in texture. Tripe stew had good flavor but texture was mushy (passed the point of tender) Service was fine, staff was available when needed, but overall felt quality/ambiance could be better. When I heard…read morethat the owners of San Francisco's Koi Palace were launching this concept, I was close to the first in line when they opened. It's been top notch since the very first visit. I have taken friends, clients, and colleagues, and the response has been uniformly positive. The menu has changed over time, but the dim sum classics are all there, often with a nouveau twist. What really got me was coming for dinner with a large group, where we could really savor the seafood, noodle, and meat dishes. I'm not going to run down the list because everything I've tried has been excellent, and I've tried most of the menu. We always enjoy decapitating the crispy mochi ducklings, filled of course with minced pork. The wagyu steak and wagyu fried rice, the xiao long bao with vinegar caviar, and salt and pepper tofu are all winners. The interiors are beautiful and give a different feel wherever you sit. Bring a friend or bring a large group and go to town.

Food: 4/5 Drinks: 5/5…read moreService: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 First things first, this is an upscale dim sum experience and the price reflects it. We had what I think was a decent amount for 5 people and paid over $200 without any of the more expensive menu items, only dumplings. For the price and what we got, I don't think it was worth the price tag. Alright, the foods. Pork soup dumplings, rainbow shrimp dumpling, pork shrimp shu mai, chicken shu mai, bbq pork bao buns, pork belly bao buns, the ducklings, crunch dragon wings, chicken satay, and the eel crispy rice. Everything was good, but the best of the bunch were the pork soup dumplings and the eel crispy rice. The pork soup dumplings came with a black vinegar "caviar" that complimented the flavors in the soup portion. The crispy eel rice had a great char on the eel and the rice was crispy without being overly crunchy. According to kid 3, the notable mention was the crunch dragon wings that had the "perfect spice and really crunchy skin." Oh, and kid 1 was not a fan of the ducklings, she realized that she's not a fan of 5-spice which these had an overpowering flavor of. Overall, great experience but for the price we paid vs what we got was not worth it. The lychee martini! That was sensational, if you're 21 and enjoy a sweeter cocktail, this one is for you! Service was top notch, the ladies and gentlemen know what they are doing there.
