DISGUSTING. First time here and the food was awful. We ordered chow mien and fried rice. The noodles and rice tasted old and stale. The veggies for the noodles were still raw and cold, mushrooms tasted like dirt, unwashed. Zero seasoning added to both the noodles and rice it seemed. Also the beef for the fried rice tasted so gamey it made my fiancé nauseous. I would rate them 0 stars if I could. Food is normally not bad. I get the same thing every time I go. It's what I like. Due to huge language barrier, I point at the menu. Shrimp with snow peas. Every time they try to push the upcharged rice and I have to tell them no just the steamed rice. Today they handed me my order and when it came in a different container I tried to question it but there is too much of a language barrier. Got to work and the snow pea has been replaced by bell peppers. I cannot stand bell peppers. I call for a refund. Get the corporate call center explain I don't have time to swap it out. Another person came in for a to go order and was helped by the lady who helped me. A couple came in to dine in and a waiter came from the back to hand them a menu as they sat at one of the booths. Literally 5mins and my order was ready. Plenty of parking in the plaza. When I got home and opened the containers, the food portions were big! You can feed 3ppl easy with what I ordered. Upon learning how good China A Go Go is, I've added it heavily to my take-out routine. I'm usually pretty loyal once I find a place I like, location included. I hadn't tried this location but the other location I usually order from had some loooong wait times, so I decided to give this one a try. The food is the same great quality. I have a real soft spot for Chinese-American food and I very much find this place to have some great examples of it. The oil factor is low but the taste and quality factor is high and that's the way I like it. The portion sizes are perfect for sharing and leftovers. I gave a shout-out to the hot and sour soup for the other location but I can't do that here. This version tasted like dishwater but hopefully that was a one-of and when I order it again, it will be delicious. I see this restaurant come up on my delivery apps every time I order, but never ordered since Chinese food is not typically my favorite. I decided to give it a try and found that it's much more than traditional (American) Chinese food. They have Thai, Chinese, and even Japanese food. Crab Rangoon - Was ok. It's a fried Rangoon with cream cheese and green onions inside with sweet and sour sauce on the side. I did not find any crab inside of the Rangoon. The flavor was ok. I would have liked to have seen them use a little more spice and chopped up shallots mixed in with the cream cheese. You get 6 in an order and they're good sized. Thai Iced Tea - Pretty good. This was sweet enough, but not too sweet. Deep Fried Roll - Very good. I loved the crunch and the mix of fish and cream cheese. Dragon Roll - Good. The only thing I didn't love about this roll was that the crab was then topped with sliced avocado and they easily fell off the roll. It was a little tricky grabbing the roll and keeping it all together. The taste was good though. My driver arrived much earlier than I expected and my entire order was correct. Today I decided to try China GoGo, I called in my order for Buddha Delight & Beef Chow Fun. I drove down to pick up my order and when I got home it was fried rice and beef broccoli. I called the restaurant and was told I could either keep the food and be reimbursed or come back and pickup my original order. I decided to pickup my original order. When I got to the restaurant I was pissed, I returned the wrong order and got my food. The guy helping me told me he had included 2 free vegetable egg rolls, did he really think that was enough for wasting my time? I had to make 2 round trips, a total of 1 hour, 15 minutes each way in triple digit temperature. When I got home my food was cold. The chow fun noodles were cold greasy tasteless and the noodles were caked together. The Buddha Delight also had no taste. This entire experience did nothing but piss me off. We asked for chili sauce to go along with the food for some kick, got charged for it but it was never given to us. Ambiance was way off as well, on top of that they damn near kept us from leaving and telling us we needed to tip?! Tip is not required especially if your service sucked and you were completely rude the whole time. I am hoping my family and I don't get sick. Absolutely worst food I've ever had from a restaurant. Lots of bone and gristle in the chicken curry that had zero flavor to it. The egg rolls were not cooked throughout and soggy, and what was supposed to be barbecue pork was unrecognizable but looked and smelled a little like last week's burnt meatloaf. I called to let them know about the bones in the chicken immediately, in the hopes that no other bones would go out to other diners, and was informed that chicken does have bones. They offered me a credit for one entree on my next visit. I don't think I'll ever be using that credit. I would like to request a full refund for the horrible food we received. If I could give a negative star I would give this china a go-go negative 5 star. I ordered chicken chow mein and orange chicken. An hour after eating it ended up with food poisoning. I called to tell them and they didn't know what food poisoning was and that they have had no other complaints from anyone else getting food poisoning and I should call back tomorrow and talk to the owner. Never ordering from them again and will be contacting the health department. I will be calling the owner as well. read more
