My husband and I were headed to Walmart on Boulder Hwy. looking for a place to stop for lunch. Not many choices along the short drive to Walmart. We quickly get to the Walmart, turn into the parking lot and I see a few restaurants, first one I spotted was China a Go Go. We decided on Chinese food, we love it and it had been a while. My husband ordered the Singapore Noodles, he loved it. I ordered the General Tao's Chicken, which came with chow mein, fried rice and a bowl of egg corn flower soup. It was all very good. I ordered from the lunch special section of the menu. $9.95. Very good service, hot fresh food and ingredients, very kind and friendly people working there. I look forward to coming back and trying other items. I brought home a take out menu they gave me, so glad I did because I circled so many things I want to go back to try. Decided to stop here and have lunch and the 1st time was last week and today I ordered to go, the service here is top notch! Always so friendly and inviting to this little spot! When walking in, there's not a lot of tables but, I must say this place is very clean and that's very much appreciated. Last week when I had lunch with my mom and auntie I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and had to order them again along with the yummy soup! It's nice to find a place where dinner isn't served in styrofoam with plastic utensils. I had Mongolian beef personal dinner which came with wonton strips, soup and egg rolls. You also have a choice of rice or chow mein. The meal was flavorful and the beef was tender. It wasn't at all spicy though, despite being marked as a spicy dish. Most of their business is take-out, with a steady flow of customers in and out the doors. They have a small but comfortable dining room, big enough for their limited number of dine-in customers. I haven't been to China a go go on Rancho & Charleston because of the quality and the taste of the food had gotten so bad either it was tasteless, I was very salty. So I decided. Let me try him out. I ordered chicken Fried rice and shrimp. This shrimp was great. The rice, on the other hand was terrible. It was hard and chewy. I'm almost like it was plastic. I was chewing on and the meat smelled. That's if it was kind of rodner, there was something rotten in the food I don't think I'll ever eat there again ! ! The food was absolutely horrible. I was served refried food that tasted old and cold, and it made me sick--I actually started throwing up afterward. It seems like the food might be better in the morning, because at night it feels like the staff just wants to go home. The quality drops, and they start serving whatever is leftover. I wish I could give 3.5 stars but that's not an option on here. Pros: Compared to other smaller Chinese eateries in Vegas the inside has clean floors and tables and they really do read delivery app order notes and try to give you what you request which I really appreciate ( especially after dealing with establishments that don't offer the option for notes or don't follow directions on given). I like wonton soup and it's propbably one of the only Chinese restaurants that offer the option of wonton soup or egg drop soup with a personal dinner. Just wish there were more personal dinner entree options to choose from. Cons: The food is tasty but lacks consistency. Some days an order comes with condiments and utensils, other days nothing at all. Or the soup may have good flavor one day but is bland the next time. So far I've tried the beef with broccoli, pepper steak, salt and pepper chicken, wor wonton soup/wonton soup, kung pao chicken, NY Style Chow Mein - all were tasty. Just wish the food was consistent. The wonton soup half of the time has decent flavor and half the time tastes like bland wontons in brown water. The menu says no MSG but the black and pepper wing seasoning gives me a headache everytime and I'm drinking water all night afterwards. I love their red and black oufits with the China A Go Go logo and I think there's a lot of potential for them to be an amazing eatery, or at least this location, but I think they just need to tighten up on the food consistency. read more

The only problem for is the foods for food quantity, it's a plus for me. The taste and the spicy for me is good. There is only one problem. The rice portion is not the right size. It's not even four ounces; I'm not satisfied on the corn soup. The only dish that got me to like this place is their own egg plant Tofu dish. The favor and savory of this dish is superb. read more

Enya is absolutely amazing! She answered all my questions, she was very patient with me, and she went above and beyond for me. I'm traveling and the zipper on my luggage broke and she allowed me to leave my things in the restaurant while I go shop for new luggage. She even allowed me to wait inside until my Uber arrived.
