I'm a Chinese Buffet lover, and always know they can be hit or miss; but even the bad ones all have something that you can eat to get your moneys worth. Although this place is somewhat of a dive, I was excited to finally go to a Chinese buffet. The server disrespected me several times by asking me if I wanted a diet Coke instead of a Dr Pepper and he quickly took my plate away with my fork. I've visited this location several occasions. The food is "decent". It's Chinese buffet; it's as expected. Service is as expected. The owner/manger/waitress has a terrible habit of walking around the restaurant with gloves on, cleaning off dirty tables and collecting dirty plates. I am upset there is no zero star option and truly disappointed and disgraced by this disgusting place. I picked up a plate of sushi with two other friends and tasted a mysterious meat which wasn't crab. I spit it out immediately and afterwards, my stomach really hurt the shittiest food I've ever ate. I have eaten at China buffet and enjoyed the food. The food temperatures were correct. The flavors were good. The waitstaff is very friendly and helpful. addendum, the floors have been covered in grease, i have witnessed the hibachi "chef" pick up food from the garbage skirt and put it back on the grill for the customer. the quality has diminished, i think with change in ownership the restaurant has deteriorated, and will not be back. read more

My experience has always been good here. I've eaten here 10 or 12 times, and the food has always been fresh. It's an older facility, but it's been pretty clean every time I visit. They have a pretty decent sushi bar for an inexpensive buffet. Definitely worth a lunch time visit. read more

How this place has a Saundersville Rd addy I have no clue...it's actually a block south on the east side of Indian Lake Blvd in a strip mall behind Bojangles. So...anywho...my first buffet stop in Da-Ville.....went for lunch ($7.99 buffet $1.83 soda). Typical fare but most items were overcooked in my opinion. The peel and eat shrimp were just shy of mushy...the salmon and mussels looked WAY overdone...didn't even go there. Most vegetables looked like they'd been water-boarded by Jessica Chastain. The chicken wings were good and the sushi was ok..nothing special. Super dry pasty wasabi (I know it's never real wasabi but it should come off the spoon). Strangest looking crab rangoon I'd ever seen...super tiny little pouches. This place is VERY popular with our South-of-the Border friends....which probably explains the appearance of chicken quesadillas and cheese-stuffed jalapenos on the buffet...not two of your more famous Chinese delicacies. :-) I would give this place one star except for the price. I don't understand all the bad reviews about this place. I have been to pretty much every Chinese buffet around Nashville and this place is by the best one. It's always clean and so is the bathrooms. The food on the bar is always good and they change up the menu to keep it different. It has by far has the best sushi out of any buffet I have ever been to. The staff is always friendly and your drink will never go empty. I go every Wednesday and have sushi here and actually look forward to going. So seriously trust me on this place and give it a shot before you judge it off the other reviews. Make sure you try the sushi and you will be happy you listened to me. Every time I eat here with my group (which is frequently), everything is good. All of the food is delicious, except for the desserts next to the ice cream, but that's just because it's not my style. It has a wide variety, for example if you don't like Chinese food, there are different options for you. They even make sushi, which is Japanese! The only thing I dislike is the fact that the floor looks and smells quite dirty, as if it hasn't been washed in quite a while. Other then that, everything is fine. The prices are a bit high for dinner though, but lunch is around $7, which is amazing! The overall atmosphere is like a regular restaurant, and it's not loud at all.
