My husband and I love coming here! It's always clean and staff are friendly! Some of the food could use some more seasoning but overall I haven't had any issues and the best part is I can get up and get something else! I typically get a little bit of everything.

We were so happy that we found this place looking for something else. So we came here by accident and I'm glad we did. We love the decor outside and inside and there's so many seating area. We were seated promptly after arriving by a nice host. Our server was the nicest lady. One more perk of coming to this restaurant. She also kept her area clean at all time. She was very attentive to all the patrons there. What about the food? We liked it. So much to choose from: sushi, seafood, soups, hotpot, hibachi, salad, kids friendly like pizza, nuggets, pasta, noodles, veggies, and desserts. I love seeing the Korean Short Ribs, crispy shrimp with head, and octopus tentacles. Those are my favorite and hard to find. They were well cooked and not overly salty. The hot pot option was in the soup area. If you are into crawfish, they had plenty of that. Sushi was good too. Didn't try the hibachi this time since we wanted something right away but there wasn't a long but the choices above kept us going. The dessert was decent. The flan was eggy, the scale sponges were moisture and airy. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be stopping a.

It's a buffet with americanized chinese food. What is one expecting here? For me, it served it's purpose. I know what I am getting in to every time I go to an asian buffet. And this place was no different. It satisfied my lunch hunger. And the kicker? They were serving actual McDonald's Chicken Mcnuggets. How did they get these? Did someone go to Mickey D's and bring them back? Did they get a bag from the distributor? Either way, I was happy. Ice cream was good, too. Cookies & cream. Yum. For $18.06, for lunch with a beverage.

    Menu, Prices

We come here every now and again. Sushi is my preference. The veggies were really over seasoned but it's a buffet- mostly over seasoned and not so healthy options are typical. See photo for updated menu prices!

I have trouble passing up Chinese buffets, so when it was lunchtime and I had an hour until I needed to pick up my wife from her nearby dental appointment, I headed here! Not too busy on a weekday at 11:45, there were plenty of tables. The food on the steam tables appeared pretty fresh (or at least as fresh as it can be in this situation). Pretty solid for straight carbs with noodles and rice dishes, the usual protein heavy trays were a bit lacking. You could probably do better if you wanted to do the hibachi where you can put in as much meat or chicken as you like. But where China Buffet seems to excel is over at the sushi section. A very good selection and not just the boring ones. There was mackerel. And more. Hey, I took a pic. Service was good. My waiter was back and forth often to refill my water glass (you should really drink a lot of water at a Chinese buffet). I liked it. I'll try and be back!

The restaurant is stylish, modern, and surprisingly chic , with a great location that makes it easy to add to an evening out. As first-time guests, we especially appreciated our server, who patiently walked us through the process and made sure there were no surprises. The explanation about the charge for uneaten all-you-can-eat sushi that guests want to take home was particularly helpful. Knowing the rules upfront makes all the difference and sets the right expectations from the start. The food was excellent. We worked our way through several rolls , sampled dumplings , and didn't find a miss among them. My Lycheetini was delicious, and after tasting a couple of sakes , I ended up buying a bottle to take home. Zero regrets there. Parking requires a little planning, with a paid lot nearby unless you're fortunate enough to snag a street spot right in front. Overall, I'd happily return and enjoy the entire experience all over again.

Great location in south end near the light rail. We had a reservation for 6:30 and were seated promptly. The restaurant is gorgeous! I was in amazement walking to my seat. The host was about to sit us at a table, but we requested a booth and were accommodated. Our server was very nice and thoroughly explained the menu. We started off with the empanadas and I ordered my first virgin "pinny yolada" :). The empanadas were mind blowing! They were nice and hot, flavorful, and absolutely a delight! We were so impressed, we decided to order the double fried wings afterwards. The wings were good and had an interested flavor with the tamarind. After the wonderful appetizers, it was time for the entrees. I ordered the short rib yuca gnocchi and my friend the arroz con pollo. On paper the gnocchi sounded sublime, but in actuality it was lacking a lot. The entire dish lacked so much flavor, even with hot sauce, additional salt, and lime it tasted bland. I was very disappointed. The empanadas and service were a saving grace, I ordered two orders of empanadas to go for my family. However they were so expensive. I paid $14 for 3. Even though I loved the empanadas, I probably would not be back.

We were a party of 4 on a Saturday, and it was my friends birthday. We had a variety of rolls and a couple non sushi starters like peppers and crispy shrimp. All of the plates came out at a good pace, we were able to enjoy the current before starting the next. The drinks were solid and the service was great- friendly and attentive, clearing out plates and silverware with each round. I can see why this was such a highly rated and booked spot. Atmosphere for this meetup made us stay later than we should have bc I think we stayed til around 4:30pm? Lunch service finished maybe around 2:30-2:45? Felt badly for the person at the reception but he said it was no problem. I hv bn to Yama in Waverly a couple of times n now Yama Loso. Both serve a modern twist to Asian dishes. I love traditional Japanese meals but I also enjoy twists in recipes once in a while. Spicy edamame for starters. Ate the sushi rice bowl but w/o the spicy aioli sauce n asked for something else which was on the sweet side. Comforting meal, not overwhelming, just right. Edamame, cucumbers, yellow pickled daikon, tuna, salmon, avocado. A simple lunch was all I needed. Then, the hamachi neck part came grilled, not on the menu but if they hv it they'll serve it tender n juicy. Only reason I left a star out was bc of the parking. Other than that, I'd probably go there again if I'm on that side of Charlotte but for me Waverly is closest.

Between the awful attitude from the owner and the unsanitary conditions, I would never recommend anyone eat here.
