There was a line out the door of people waiting for a table. All food items were fresh and seasoned well. There wasn't anything that was overly salty or over seasoned. Great variety of items from seafood, to sushi, to French fries and chicken nuggets. They also have a soft serve machine that actually works!! This buffet was surprisingly very good! I wasn't expecting much due to the generic name, and it being in a bit of a older shopping center. The restaurant was clean but hadn't been updated in awhile. However, the food selection was on par with or better than most Chinese buffet. And the taste was well above average for similar restaurants. I have been going to tis buffet since before 2010. It is near Middletown NJ and I meet a friend there throughout. i was disgusted by the service of the food. We were there for dinner on a weeknight. They purposely did not allow to the customers more than one spare rib. When I went to get ribs, there was only one rib remaining. the worker held onto the replacement and did not refill until I left. then she only placed two ribs in the buffet. That was ridiculous. The China bufette is a nice place to visit to have a good meal. It is big so you don't feel cramp the food is in the middle of the floor. They serve lots of vegetable, fish and sushi. A few various types of sushi, a made to order Mongolian Grill station and about 4-5 sections of hot foods. They had 4 or 5 different types of chicken as well. They had crab legs that they refilled 2-3 times while I was there but some people were savage and would basically empty the entire tray on their own plate. We have been going there for quite some time and then we stopped about a year ago. I forget exactly why, I know we had a bad experience. Now, they seem to have new management and I can highly recommend this buffet. Prices ( $15-$19) are very good along with attentive and friendly service and good selection. This place is terrible. This is a buffet style restaurant. The staff brings your drinks and clears the tables pretty quickly. That is the only positive. They used to have enough items to allow you to make a salad, not all they have is lettuce and little else. All there appetizer offerings are bad. The chicken wings are tough and over done. The mozarella sticks taste like they are microwaved. The entrees aren't any better. The General Tsos chicken half the pieces are terribly over cooked and too hard to eat. They are inedible. The rice is often over cooked as well. The pepper steak is OK and maybe the best option which isn't saying much. Ate at this place twice in the last 2 months and it was terrible both times.
