China Buffet is located south of I-10 (China Dragon is north), this restaurant has a reasonable buffet set up. It's inexpensive, it's clean, the food is fresh, and I ate my fill. They're doing everything on paper plates and with plastic cutlery. So there's that. On the plus side, they cleared my dirty plates quickly and I got plenty to eat for an early dinner tonight. First Time Here. we heard about this place from some friends in the Area. At First Glance at it from the parking lot, it was an Old Waffle House. But, When you Open the Door & Look inside? Food was absolutely delicious! It was super clean. Everything was fresh, flavors were amazing, and staff were very attentive with refilling our drinks. I saw someone saying they had paper plates, they have styrofoam plates and plastic wear but we had no issues with them holding our overfilled plates! We will be coming back a lot more. read more

i'm a sucker for a Chinese buffet, so I was able to convince the wife to try here recently. Yes, it doesn't look like the most upscale restaurant from the exterior being right off the highway next to a gas station but sometimes those places can be secret food Havens. I will be blunt, while there was not one particular thing that stood out, for the most part everything I had was good or better. they were doing a decent business for a Sunday early evening when we were there. The best thing was actually the weirdest seeming item it was a shrimp dish that was kind of sweet but even my wife liked it and she typically does not go for things like that. and of course I had to finish it off with the Chinese donuts love those. read more

Four stars based upon comparison of similar establishments in a similar area. Food is pretty good, it's adequate and the selection is decent for a place of this size. This is no mega buffet. This is also a very small town. The facility is kinda rundown but it is clean. For example the laminate flooring is peeling up in spots and all the tables are kind of canted a little bit and all the fabric on the chairs could use a cleaning. I came in at 11:45 in the morning and all the food was hot and fresh. The local firefighters had parked there fire truck in the parking lot and were in here eating when I got here. do you look like hungry guy so that might explain a fresh turnover of food. It wasn't particularly busy there were a few patrons at any given time. The employees were clearly Chinese and we're talking to each other in Chinese. The food is fairly typical prepared in the traditional recipes that American buffets use. I wonder if they get the stuff in a package because they hot and sour soup tastes identical to every other Chinese buffet I've ever been in except it could've used a little salt. Actually, the hot and sour soup really wasn't very good. The Blackpepper chicken was good The pepper steak was surprisingly tender. The Japanese chicken was tasty. Everything on this menu is prepared with sugar in it so if you're diabetic be careful. I looked closely for bugs and didn't find any so that's good news. To be fair I was here on a rainy day and you know in Florida if it rains people stay at home. It might be busier on a sunny day. So in some, if you're in Macclenny looking for a quick Chinese fix this is a great option, I would travel from Jacksonville to go here but I would come back again. read more

I tried a spoonful (or two) of almost everything! There were plenty of fried and breaded options, but also assorted grilled and steamed items. I didn't care for the cheesy mussels, but who'd even expect that on the menu of a small town buffet? I don't recall anything being spectacular, but the options were very plentiful and filling. Did you know that is restaurant is part of a chain? I did not until I looked on their website to see their hours. I've passed this buffet probably 30+ times. The food here is decent, I wouldn't say "fresh" but it's not terrible either. I mean come on, it's basically in the middle of nowhere. Decent eats in a pinch. read more

Its a nice Chinese buffet place in a small town. The food is better than average for buffet style and its best to show up around 11:30am before there is a crowd. Everything they make is kitchen made and the service is diligent and polite. The star player at that restaurant is the roasted chicken. read more

Run down, the seats were broken and the outside smells...not like a restaurant. But it had delicious food and all I was looking for at the time was something good to eat for a decent price and that's exactly what I found.
