The food tastes well enough... if you can access the decent stuff. The staff doesn't care when you tell them that some of the food got contaminated by a potential allergen. For example, I saw a man splash the Crab Leg Water, vigorously, contaminating the entire area for 3 dishes in either direction. When I informed the staff, they told me to pick something else to eat or just deal with it. As someone with a lethal shellfish allergy, this scared me away from them for life. read more

It's a Chinese buffet. I'm not normally a huge fan, but our friends were picking and it was all about the company. But a nice place overall! Straightforward, simple. Some delicious options, which were a pleasant surprise! The pork buns were super good. Hot and fresh, sweet and savory. Tried all the dumplings and dim sum. Very tasty. Lots of good seafood, and freshly prepared sushi. They had bacon wrapped shrimp and fried squid and crab legs and tons of stuff. It was packed. My family and I went here tonight for dinner, it was good the food was really good for the most part. My friend was eating crab legs and ACCIDENTALLY spilt her butter I went up and asked for some napkins she gave me 4 so I made due but it didn't clean the mess up all the way. Then my daughter ACCIDENTALLY spilt some sweet and sour so now the mess is a little worse So we seen someone walking by and tried to stop her we said um excuse me she looked at us and walked away, then she came up to grab a plate about four minutes later and looked at me with disgust and said oh wow and then started speaking Chinese and stomped away comes back and throws napkins on the table and starts "wiping" it up meanwhile it's just going everywhere including.my friends sweatshirt we said that's not gonna work we need a wet rag, another lady comes up and slams about 40 napkins on the table and starts viciously wiping almost elbowing my one year daughter in the face I said hey you guys don't have to be rude it's a accident. Again if they would of just grabbed a rag like we asked for this all could of been avoided. As we get up to leave the first girl walks by us glares at me and starts mumbling im Chinese. When I went up to pay I told the lady up front your girls are very rude accidents happen and they were very very rude the lady didn't even say sorry at all she just looked at me with a blank stare.... Had a great experience there last night. We got there late (around 9:30) and were the last customers in the restaurant. There were still plenty of options available in the buffet. The food was warm and fresh. The staff was friendly and attentive. They refilled my drink each time that my cup was only half full. Even though it was close to closing time we did not feel rushed at all. Also, happy that they added mozzarella sticks. read more

Last time i went was for a birthday party. Two people In our group waited almost 30 mintues for there drinks after the asked 2 different waiters and they were both rude about it. I sat there without a drink for 20 mintues with them walking past and picking up the plates off our table!! The worst service i have ever had!!!! Ignore any negative reviews, this is the best Chinese Buffet for 500 miles in any direction.

I love places like this. If you are poor and want a ton of lo-mein noodles and egg drop soup, this is the place. They've got a ton of weird stuff, all the generic Chinese buffet classics plus sushi and french fries. It's the perfect example of an All-American Chinese Pan-Asian Buffeteria. The staff is super nice, even if some of them speak little English. Friday nights this place seems pretty crowded. But totally fun, totally worth the ten bucks per plate. read more

This has got to be the most disgusting, dirty, and unhealthy place I have ever eaten. In fact it was sooo bad I had to call the health department. Luckily the health department responded quickly. They had 9 critical violations. (Please take the time to read the inspection report. Just google restaurant inspection report for China Buffet in Missoula). Their coolers didn't work and had "vegetation growing in them", the soy sauce bottle were CAKED with old food and debris. The thermometers were so covered in food they couldn't be read. etc etc etc It is absolutely the most. Nothing was dated. I could go on and on. The service is terrible and don't ask for a refill of water or you will be glared at and talked about by the other employees. Just horrible. I went in April and just got around to writing the review. Ok so I used to go here quite a bit, but the last time I went was definatley the LAST! I used to go for lunch and decided we would try it out for dinner. Well the food was for sure left over from lunch and the price was more. The beef and brocoli had a huge chunk of raw meat with some white gooey stuff and to top it all off the dish washer was holding the plates with his hairy chin so the stack wouldn't fall. YUK! Also there are never clean plates, always something stuck to the top few you have to dig down for a clean one same with the bowls. When I complained the lady I beleive the owner, had nothing to say not even an apology. Just nasty never again! read more

My favorite place to eat in Missoula. I almost don't want to recommend it becasue I don't want more competition. i suspect that some of the negative reviews here were by people who feel the same way. The all you can eat lunch is cheap and wonderful. In fact the only thing I don't like is that they changed the recipe for the cheesey mussels. They were addictive when they used real cheese in the past.. I would go there for those alone and other told me the same thing. Now they seem to use a cheese substitute and they are okay but I don't go there just thinking of the cheesey mussels anymore. I've noticed in some of the other reviews customers complaining about the service. Most of the staff don't speak English very well if at all. And this is self serve. And if you are going for an early lunch, do schedule your arrival for before the local high schools get out for lunch. Your favorite food might be gobbled up. read more

used to live in missoula i liked eating here but have gotten sick eating there more then once. once had to take my wife to the hospital when she was pregnant cause she got sick when eating there. the crab legs need to be more bigger, but for the price its ok we have one in couredalene i live in idaho go there alot its better and cleaner than the one in missoula mt. there used to be a joke that the place in missoula used to cook rats their dont know if its true or not. i would advise never eating seafood in the middle part of the united states because it takes twice as long to get to those restaurants then to those closer to the coasts. try the one in courdalene idaho!!!!! read more

My favorite restaurant in Missoula. The all you can eat Sushi is even better now that they have a sushi chef. Lunch is only $6.99. And there is a wide range of other food most of which is superb. And hot tea is always free. The only think I do not like is that a few years ago they switch cheeses on their cheesy mussels. I used to come just for those. They were to die for but are now just okay. I used to meet other people there who had also come for the cheesy mussels. Most of the staff do not speak English. I recommend grabbing a soup bowl rather than an ice cream bowl for ice cream. read more
