Food quality is better than other Chinese buffets I've had in Pittsburgh. Lots of variety but still for some reason feels pretty narrow. Wish there was chongqing chicken. All my homies wore suits because my mom was in town which was funny. Seller is that it is cheap ( less than 18$ a person, cheaper on weekdays) and you can get a lot of food.

After church in the area, a few friends and I came to this place for lunch. Due to COVID precautions, the restaurant is only offering take out, but allowing us to sit in their dining area to eat, with tables spaced out to accommodate COVID guidelines. This meant that the buffet was available, but we had to put what we wanted to consume in a to go container. As usual, I wanted to try a little bit of everything, so it was a bit difficult to fit it all in. Thankfully the cost was very reasonable at around $6.99 per pound. I even purchased a drink, which was only $1.50. I enjoyed almost everything and most of the food was yummy and well seasoned. My favorites were the fried fish, fried shrimp, honey chicken bites, crab and shrimp scampi, along with chow mien. The vegetables (such as broccoli, green beans) were cooked well with tasty sauces. The fried rice looked really good, but was a little bland. I wasn't a fan of the stuffed shrimp either - Maybe a bit too fancy for a casual buffet spot. Overall, it was a decent meal and very filling. I am not sure I would return though, because I was able to sample all the menu items I wanted.

Round 1: Noodle with shrimp, BBQ chicken, satay chicken, soup, stuffed mushroom, etc.

I am glad that they are reopen for indoor dining. I have been waiting for a long time (a year?) for this option. Drove about 45' to the restaurant. It was around 12:30 pm on Sunday (02/27/2022). The room was packed 20 minutes after we arrived. I am sure they are having a hard time like other restaurants from the pandemic. I see that the chief is also doing cashier and waitress jobs. Last time I was there, one lady was doing cashier and another lady doing waitress jobs. However, it does not mean the chief did not do the jobs right. He did very good in both cashier and waitress position. Price: Sunday (All day buffet): $15.95 Weekday: Lunch:$13.95; Dinner: $15.95 Open hours: You can check it out on Google or Yelp Customer service: 5/5 Food: 4/5 (for the price). I wish they have some more options. But, the quality of the food is good compared to other China buffets. Price: 4.5/5. Reasonable, according to the inflation and pandemic. I am happy to pay this price with the current situation, quality of food and customer service. By the way, drinks like hot tea, soda are included in the price. I will return to the restaurant some more time to update my review. For now, it is 5/5 overall, and I do recommend check it out if you are looking for a good China buffet restaurant in Pittsburgh.

I was extremely pleased to find China Buffet in the corner of the shopping plaza. Food was quite tasty. Atmosphere was quite peaceful. The buffet was well stocked. Customer service was decent. Price for lunch was comparable to other places before these last 2 years and it included the drink. If you're looking for a good buffet, I'd recommend the stop!!!

So nasty fucking disgusting I'm pissed

Really good simple buffet. Has everything you want and is really clean. I love their peanut butter chicken. Can't beat the price either.

Tasteless lukewarm food. The best part of my lunch was the little Skippy cup of ice cream.

Good food. Fresh. Deserves more than 1.5 stars. Reasonably priced. Clean. Pleasant. If we lived in Pittsburgh, we would go again.

Both delicious. The 17 ingredient salad is highly recommended and we could tell why. So refreshing and flavorful. It was fun finding all of the 17 ingredients. For our entrees I got the crispy shrimp and my boyfriend got the khao soi. Both left us craving more the whole drive home. Staff were so pleasant and happy to answer any questions. Beautiful restaurant, indoor and outdoor. I think next time we visit, we will have a later reservation outside to enjoy the greenery. Make a reservation at least a month in advance!! If not, there are some bar seats available but make sure to get there early.

Finally, I was determined and I booked out probably 2 1/2 months in advance.... And ended up going in the dead of winter. I know that I would've enjoyed my experience much more if we could've sat in the garden, that's probably an excellent vibe. I'm a spicy marg lover so I tried-new person same old mistakes-it didn't really strike me as spicy but more so smoky and I wanted spicy. We did the khao yum-it was unique, I think I would really have loved this. If it was hot out it seems like it would be very refreshing and light and more ideal for the spring and summer and like I said we went in the dead of winter. I did the beef tenderloin as my main and it was good, it wasn't too spicy, had a nice flavor, but I don't know that I would order it again. If it wasn't so hard to get a reservation, I would definitely come here more. I really liked the vibe and the aesthetic.

I wouldn't really call this a supper club to be honest but the place definitely carries a house music bar vibe and the back bar area and seating is very dimly lit, perfect for cozying up and enjoying a drink late night. The ladies' room was so dark, I mistook it for a storage area because I could only make out a white ladder in the corner that was being used as cute shelving. The place is seat yourself. Our waiter was not super friendly and didn't offer to give us napkins or anything when our wobbly table caused our drinks to splash all over the place. The cook served our chicken with a big smile and happy interaction and we really loved his personality. The bartender also stopped by to bus our table and he was very pleasant as well. We enjoyed the perfectly fried small plate cauliflower with the plum sauce and the fried cheese/garlic wonton bites with the sriracha mayo spicy dipping sauce. The fried chicken breast on the large plate was slightly overcooked with a maple gochuchang sauce that was very bland. We were so thankful that the large plate fried chicken came with a side salad to offer some respite from the heaviness of the fried dishes. It would have been great to have some side acidic or fresh vegetable options like Kimchi or something. Maybe we tried the wrong dishes and there are other not fried things that are delicious? The dirty martini cocktail was just so-so, not really much flavor at all, but the mojito was very good and refreshing. It's probably a good late-night place for a bite and drink.

This was a combination that I did not expect to actually work, but it does. The bartender does an amazing job that very few in my experience have been able to do, which is blend the drink to where it is not just 90% alcohol and 10% whatever else. This allows you to really experience the drink and its fancy little name. Food: Entree - Godzilla: This was recommended by my waiter at the time because it was the first time ever that I have tried sushi and I was not disappointed. This dish was sooooo delicious. Dessert - Churro Cheesecake: What can I say? It's cheesecake and churros. Not a big fan of sweets, but I do love me a good cheesecake. Service: 5 / 5 - No complaints. Waiter was very attentive and made sure to check in periodically. He was very passionate about his job and provided strong recommendations with his opinion on the choices when asked. When he found out that this was my first time having sushi, he took the time to explain how the menu works, which I have horrible memory, but appreciate deeply. Wouldn't mind having him as a regular waiter in the future. Vibe: 4 / 5 - Restaurant and food presentation is very pretty, clean and aim to provide you with that "fancy restaurant" experience, that so many people have come to expect. It's a very chill vibe and lighting is not bad at all. Overall: 4 / 5 - Normally, I have a rule that I don't have ocean related dishes in an area where the ocean is not readily accessible. However, an acquaintance once said, "you have to have several mid dishes before you enjoy a really good dish" and she was right. Although, I wouldn't call social house mid. I enjoyed my experience overall and the staff was very friendly. The cost-food value is on the higher end, but in my opinion it was worth it. Definitely plan to return, and try other items on the menu. Recommend? Yes
