By far the best Chinese food I've ever had and they deliver they're lo mein is great and they're priced fair

Im not one to write reviews, especially not bad ones, but I'm a Postmates delivery driver. I got an order for China Cafe at 9:26pm. I drove up at 9:33pm and was refused service when it is stated online and on their door that they close at 10pm. They had already closed their kitchen down and were all about to leave. They would've had to close down a long time before that to already be done closing. This is really bad for a business. read more

We did delivery last Monday. The food was really good! General Tso's chicken, sweet n sour pork and sweet n sour chicken. The reason for the 4 star instead of 5 is the sweet n sour pork was pretty dry, borderline jerky. The two chicken dishes were spot on and made up for the pork. If you decide to order online they use a third party ordering site that you are linked too from their web page. It seemed weird at first but worked perfect and food arrived promptly and everything was in the order as we requested. China Cafe has become our "go to" chinese buffet. Friendly service, decent food, and good sushi (with a live sushi chef).

Best hot & sour soup in the area. Great comfort food. Really nice folks. But honestly, I liked it a lot better before they expanded and went full-time buffet. They didn't have the ton of choices they do now, but they were all done really well. Now it's pretty much typical, lackluster, heat-lamped buffet style stuff, lacking that extra care they once had. The soup is still good if you get it fresh. They really should go back to making food fresh the way they did in the past. That would really set them apart. read more

I have been going here since it opened and let me tell you, it just keeps getting better and better. I have tried many other Chinese buffets all around and this one is by far, my favorite. The food is alright. Not bad but not the best either. I got sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. I asked for the chicken to be extra spicy and they made the rice spicy instead. It took 35 min for my to go order of general tsos chicken and egg drop soup. To get fried rice with my meal was extra too. So 15 dollars later I'm at home with watery egg drop soup, fried rice that has more onion and only half fried, and under cooked in the center and over cooked on the ends of all but one piece of my chicken! Terrible! Had the buffett lunch. Everything, and I do mean everything was cold. Hot and sour soup cold and bland. Calamari cold with overpowering corn starch taste. Told the manager and he told us to only pay for 1 of the 2 plates. Even that was overlriced considering the lack of quality and minimal amount we "sampled." We come here a lot at lunchtime for the buffet. Don't expect fine dining, but it's definitely clean, with good service, and a unique sushi bar/grill station- overall, food is good. For the price, you won't do any better around here. read more

Tried this place for delivery tonight and it was awful. I ordered Kung pao chicken and the chicken pieces, well honestly I don't know what they were but they were definitely not chicken. The fried rice tasted like plastic and there was no flavor in the Kung Pao. Even the egg roll was super disappointing. I won't be ordering from here again. read more

I probably did this to myself, but my normal go to Chinese restaurant had a two hour wait last night for delivery so we thought...Hey! Lets try something new.. buuuut clearly that was a mistake. I will say that the food did get to my house within the time frame that they told me it would (30-45 minutes). Normally, I do not order from any place that I have not eaten at in person but we try to eat locally and would give it a shot. I generally order the exact same meal from any Chinese take out restaurant... sweet and sour chicken, fried rice and cream cheese wontons/crab rangoons. My husband also sticks with the same order, general tso's chicken, white rice and egg rolls. Rarely do we stray from this because we are super boring and stick to what we know! We chose one of the combo meals that came with general tso chicken, beef and broccoli and sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice. ALL of this came glopped together in one Styrofoam box. everything looked the same and tasted the same. Pork fried rice? Don't do it!!! It was terrible. The cream cheese wontons - a normal staple for all fast foody Chinese takeout places....these had such an odd taste to them that I am not even sure what was in them. My husband ate one (they are small and only take one bite), he immediately spit it out and was making gagging faces. Overall, I feel this was a waste of $35 and a chance to indulge in takeout. just had lunch expensive at that and i will never ever go back there ,,, disgusting.. was eating lunch i watched 2 servers short male Hispanic and young black female both were wiping down tables with dish cloths picking dirty dishes.. all while using a back table they were making some type of food for diners to eat.. egg roll type where they were stuffing meat into and had to pinch ends to close never once did they wash there hands after handling those dirty dish towels and dishes. come back to my office told a few staff members and all advised me that they too will never return back there for now oblivious reasons i will be calling health inspections on this restaurant very unsanitary informed cashier of this ,, im sure nothing was done . read more

Mediocre selection and food had little to no flavor. Sushi was the highlight and it was no shining star. Staff was friendly.

On the positive side, the staff was very attentive and polite. Fresh fruit was available, including cherries (one of my favorites). On the negative side, I shelled out $25 for my son and I to eat from a very subpar buffet. He's a teenager with a big appetite, yet only had one plate, then ate some fruit. I had one plate as well. Not to sound gluttonous, but one plate at a buffet is indicative of poor food (at least for my son & I). All the food was tepid, with the exception of the buffalo wings. I hope not to be ill from eating food served at a less than ideal temperature. The ribs, which looked promising, tasted like they had been marinated in light bleach water. The fried rice had a yellowish hue, and one wonders if the coloring came from Play-doh, which was the predominant flavor (seriously). I did not try the sushi or the desserts, so am unable to provide any feedback on the quality of those items. Feedback on those items will not be provided at any point in the future since this a certain "no-go" for me -- definitely not a do-over. read more

When we moved here from "Fabulous Las Vegas" we went some of the other "Chinese" restaurants and were very disappointed by the quality of the food and the price of the sushi rolls. My family and I use to enjoy going to China Cafe, but the service and food are no longer worth the money spent. We recently went to China Cafe at 9:00pm ( sign shows they close at 10:30pm) we went to the buffet and found most of the food gone. Thinking that they would bring fresh food out we got very little on our plates. Within a few minutes of sitting back down at our table we notice four of the staff members going to fill there plates with food (including the manager). When I saw this I asked the manager if they were going to bring more food out and she tells me they stop serving food to the buffet at 9:00pm. I can not believe that they thought it to be ok to not tell us that they will not be serving anymore fresh food when the buffet was already bare. Not to mention the food that was on the buffet was all cold and chewy. Then they have the nerve to go help themselves to what was left on the buffet in front of customers. I just feel like that was beyond unprofessional. I can say without a doubt I will NEVER go back to China Cafe or recommend it to any one. read more
