Hands-down the best Chinese food I've had since moving to Aurora. I ordered them through GrubHub and I jump around the entire menu nothing has ever disappointed. The packaging is good too so very rarely are their spells unless it happens by the fault of the driver not the packaging. The spicy chicken is fried chicken pieces and it's absolutely delicious. It's crunchy and spicy and literally the best. The volcano chicken is phenomenal it's fried thinner strips of chicken drenched in a spicy sauce those are my favorite the sesame balls are phenomenal because they're not too greasy with just enough filling. The cream cheese wontons are cooked to perfection perfect crunch of the thicker type of rapper if that's what you like. Just know that the vegetable lo mein vegetables are cut in large pieces rather than small chiffon style cuts. Either way this place is above and beyond and the Boba drinks are all great so far. Those who are new to authentic Chinese food, here's some recommendations based on what I've ordered: - Scallion Pancakes - These are most crispy and onion flavored ones I've had in Colorado. Highly recommend a small dish of soy sauce on the side and dip a tiny bit with each bite. - Braised Beef Noodle - The noodles are clearly made in house. I am from Taiwan and I love beef noodle soup. The broth is rich and flavorful. If you like Spicy, you can order the alternative Spicy Beef Noodle. - Fried Dumplings - Pork /w Napa - These are not the regular boiled dumplings. They have a slight crunchy outside and delicious meat inside. We even bought a few frozen. The waitress taught us how we can cook the frozen ones at home! It was seriously the best Chinese food we have had and this is coming from an Asian. I got the braised beef noodle dish, the salt and pepper fish, the braised egg, the scallion buns, and pork with Napa cabbage dumplings. Restaurant located in a strip mall. Visiting from out of town. This is definitely not fast-food although interior is diner-like. The cooks bring you the food straight out from the kitchen. Customers are 90% Asian so that tells you they know a good Chinese restaurant and keep coming back for more. What a delight! This place is apparently under new management, and the new manager is charming and knows her stuff. The menu features lots of authentic Chinese fare, some of which might scare Americans, but it also has a full menu of American-friendly Chinese dishes, such as General Tso's Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, noodles, dumplings, egg rolls, etc. We ordered off both menus and were happy with our selections. It was overly breaded and the breading was soaked in grease then saturated in a heavy syrupy sauce. The fried rice was dry and bland. Even the fries were gross. The cheese wontons had a generous portion of cheese but still flavorless. I asked for mustard, didn't get any. That may have helped cover up the horrible disgrace that this food was. Wow! What a wonderful surprise. China Cafe II has great food. There's an Americanized option and Traditional Chinese option. We went for the Traditional Chinese option and the food was on point. We ordered Spicy Chicken which has a lot of dried chilies and the Mala Sichuanese peppercorn numbing flavor - it was very good. If you like hot spice, it's a good one! We also ordered steamed pork soup dumplings. They are homemade and juicy. I was impressed with the uniformity and texture - again, very good. To start, we had the wontons in spicy chili oil. Very good! The meat filling was delicious and the portions of all our dishes were generous. We have enough for another meal. They definitely do not skimp on portions. It was very comforting to have the wontons and soup dumplings. I also ordered thinly sliced pig ear with cucumber and onion. It's a food I grew up with and again, it was very good. There was a lot of flavor and I could also taste some Sichuanese peppercorn. Yum! For a vegetable side, we ordered the potato, green pepper, eggplant stirfry. I liked the variety of textures and the flavor is mild, not spicy. It was good balance with our spicy chicken. The owner is very kind. She's very hospitable and takes good care of the flavor of the food. We will definitely come back with a group to support the new owners. I'm excited to try the beef noodles next time.
