We got delivery from China Dragon again on another Myrtle Beach trip. The delivery time is amazing, it was probably only 20 minutes from the time we ordered until the meal was delivered, it was all hit and freshly made. Docking a star this time became my favorite meal, Kung Pao had a really thick and darker sauce than usual, almost gravy thick. It was also very hot when i just ordered it regular hot, my husband got the hot and spicy beef with pork fried rice. I ordered it a level hotter than mine and it was hotter so all of them were a bit too hot for our liking. My daughter got the chicken fried rice and we got Lo mein to share. Those were good, but the fried rice in general just wasn't as good as in the past. My son got the boneless spare ribs which he liked. There were quite a few even in the smaller order. Overall, if this was my first time eating at this place, I wouldn't go back. However we have gone here in years past and the meals were better then. Also, delivery time was super fast, so we may still try it again next trip for delivery.

Ordered crab Rangoon's.... I was so hungry for them! Don't bother ! Very little filling in them! Like a greasy sponge! Waste of $8 . Last time we order $50 worth of food . Fried rice no flavor , frozen food market would have been better . Wouldn't waste your money !

December, 2021. I love me some Chinese food and it is a constant struggle to find anything good at the beach, but I keep trying. This place was my latest try and fail. Tried this place cause it was close by. While waiting for mine there were lots of people coming in to pick up orders and tons of phone calls for deliveries as well. I did hear the girl on the home telling someone they have a separate delivery charge that goes to the driver for gas, must be a percentage of your total cause she told them that would be $3.42 extra. Anywho, the food. It came out pretty quickly but was just okay. Nothing I would want again or go back to. Items come in small or large but the small is really small and for the price, it just isnt worth it. The shrimp mei fun, usually one of my favorites, was very bland, had no seasoning or sauce at all and for some unknown reason had celery in it...vile weed! The broccoli in garlic sauce wasnt done enuf as per the chinese way but was very spicy if you like spicy. Fried dumplings/pot stickers comes 8 to an order but once you get them you see why, they are small like japanese goyza. Pepper steak with onion was the reason I hate beef dishes at chinese places, low end cuts of meat full of gristle and again with the not done veggies. I know its the traditional chinese way, I just hate crunchy veggies. Try somewhere else, you will be happier.

Ordered the combination fried rice and 2 spring rolls. The spring rolls were literally the size of my index finger and they were priced at $3 for 2. They were so small they were not worth the money and they treated like the oil they fried them in. The combination fried rice had 2 or 3 small pieces of shrimp and it also lacked taste. I don't recommend China dragon. Look elsewhere. read more

I ordered the Seafood Delight. It was supposed to have lobster, shrimp, etc. It cost about $15 but I thought it'd be worth it. There were only two shrimp, and one small lobster tail. I ordered it extra spicy, which it was not, and the crab looked like imitation crab. The sauce was good, but did not have enough zing. to it. read more

Service was prompt...when we placed our order for delivery they said 45 minutes. Door food arrived in 15 minutes can you say happy, happy, dance dance. The food was good and tasted fresh, would order again and recommend. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. They cross contaminate with shell fish anything fried. Avoid if you have a shell fish allergy. Found shrimp in my lo mein and we have a shell fish allergy in our home. Need to be re evaluated by the HEALTH DEPARTMENT. Not happy. Going to get a full refund over this bs. read more

Delivered to hotel and was on-time. Chicken Broccoli was awesome. Fried Dumplings and accompanying sauce were probably the best I've ever had. Egg Foo Young was great, but the "sauce" that tastes like curry was really fatty tasting. Sesame Chicken was amazing, although an artificial reddish orange color. Would definitely order from here again. read more

I'm so happy I ordered from here. The food is reminiscent of the Chinese food from DC, New York and the Midwest but in my opinion much better. It's that hangover, fix you, eat-all-day Chinese food. I ordered the hot and sour soup (because I find it to be a decent gauge of the the quality), moo shu pork, pepper steak with onions combo (pork fried rice with an egg roll) and the Lo Mein with shrimp. The egg roll could have been crispier but other than that I have no complaints. 4.4/5. I definitely will be ordering again. read more

Ordered delivery. Lady who took my order was nice (even with my signal issues) and the weather was horrible outside but our order was still delivered on time. Very nice employees! The food was good but wasn't the best I've ever had. We ordered seaseme chicken and shared it between my hubby and me. There was plenty for both of us. I also ordered chicken nuggets and fries for my 3 yr old. For $5 we got a bunch of nuggets and fries!! read more

Overall food was typical Chinese and pretty good. Delivery was 40 minutes and on time. Looked like they forgot the EFY gravy and sent a worker from the store with just the gravy. He arrived before the delivery guy , a little confusing as he spoke little English and our order arrived ten minutes later. We thought that was good service on their part. Soups were hot and good, moo goo gai pan was good, EFY a little dry but OK. read more

This was my first time ordering from China Dragon. I ordered online which was extremely easy and convenient. The selection was great and prices comparable with others. Delivery was within 25 minutes and all of the food was great. I will definitely add them to my delivery menu. read more

We called to make sure they deliver, we give them the address and they assure us they deliver to us. So we say thank you and tell them we will call back once we've got the entire order ready. 10 minutes later we call them to place an order and they tell us they can't deliver to us because we are too far. This business is located on 77th Ave N In Myrtle Beach, and we are at a location on 9th Avenue N in Myrtle Beach. I understand you may not want to deliver the 12 minute drive down Kings highway to deliver, but that would have been great to know when we asked. Our business is on 9th Avenue ( Where the tourists are ) so we will be more than happy to inform every tourist looking for take out to not give China Dragon a call, Because they don't deliver to half of the City of Myrtle Beach. read more

Tourist here on vacation. We wanted a quiet night in at our resort and some Chinese. Great menu!Food delivery was prompt. Some of the best sweet and sour chicken I've ever had! Super jealous that locals get Chinese this good all the time. I was happy to see a healthy section on the menu. After days of dining out fresh, crunchy steamed vegetables was just what I needed! It comes with no sauce on it so it's vegan friendly! Highly recommend read more

I have been to nearly every Chinese take out place from Myrtle beach, Conway, Carolina Forest to North Myrtle Beach. This is the place I always go back to. My family has been eating from here for 9 years. Everything is always fresh and hot! I will not hesitate to drive 20 miles from my house to eat from here. read more

I finally arrived in Myrtle Beach after a long drive from Maine and I couldn't bring myself to cook. I'm really picky with my chinese food and I'm so happy to say that this place was fantastic! I ordered online and it was to my door in 20 minutes. I ordered the beef lo mein, house fried rice, egg roll, spring rolls and crab rangoon. The rangoons left something to be desired, but everything else was absolutely perfect - not too heavy and very flavorful. Between the rangoons and the price (some items are pretty pricey in my opinion), I'm giving this 4 stars. I would definitely order again and certainly recommend! read more

After reading the reviews on yelp we decided to try it. We got sesame chicken and chicken teriyaki. The sesame chicken had no flavor, and was basically not good at all. The teriyaki chicken came in skewers and was more like an appetizer. No sauce or veggies. Just find another Chinese restaurant. The only reason left two stars was that the staff was friendly. read more

Visiting the Beach, first time eating here, ordered for delivery to the Embassy. $15 minimum to order which was fine. I ordered General Tso's & hubby ordered Chicken Lo Mein and chicken teriyaki sticks. Food was very good. I gave it five stars because the only Chinese restaurants that advertises at the sand dunes resort is closed. Got it delivered to room. Cheap prices. Good food. Giant portions. Jumbo shrimp the size of your fist. Would highly recommend. read more

This was the worst Chinese food I've ever had and everyone in our party agreed. The General tsos was a strange color and had no flavor. We asked for extra spicy and it wasn't spicy at all. Most of our food went in the garbage and we ended up getting pizza. What a waste of money! read more

Sorry to say, but have heard really good things about this place and was horribly disappointed ordered shrimp toast that I normally love but tasted like it had pork in it and cooked in oil that should have been changed days ago. Triple Hunan and peppered beef are apparently the same dish - literally nothing different except 1 had shrimp. So disappointed but I am very particular with a Cantonese family background. read more

Food was average. Had General Tso's Chicken, Kung Po Shrimp, Beef & Broccoli, Chicken and Vegetables. All were just ok. Shrimp were 20-30 count size not the size of your fist like another reviewer wrote. Maybe he has tiny fists. Won Ton soup was very good. Egg rolls were too chewy, outer wrap too thick. Prices were reasonable and portions were good size. Overall, just another standard Chinese restaurant. Definitely nothing special here. read more

Did takeout and it was wonderful. Got 3 entrees for 3 adults and it will serve us each 2 full dinners. Rice, chinese veggies, sweet & sour chicken, sesame chicken, & shrimp were great. Not only did they send the completely wrong order -- like, not-even-close wrong -- but when I called to calmly explain the mistake, I was met with pure hostility. The person on the phone was rude from the first sentence. No apology. No accountability. Just attitude. I was talked over, dismissed, and made to feel like I had committed a crime by expecting the food I actually paid for. But wait -- it gets worse. They also flat-out lied about how far away we were to justify charging a higher delivery fee. I know exactly how far my own address is. We are not in another dimension. Yet somehow, according to them, we were apparently located at the edge of civilization. The distance magically "increased" when it came time to calculate the delivery cost. Convenient. And then they charged an absolutely insane rate for the delivery fee. Not slightly high. Not mildly overpriced. Unhinged. The kind of number that makes you check your receipt three times to make sure it isn't a typo. For what? To deliver the wrong food and then be rude about it? So to recap: * Sent the wrong order. * Rude and dismissive on the phone. * Lied about distance to inflate the delivery fee. * Charged an outrageous delivery rate. * Offered zero solution. If chaos had a customer service department, this would be it. I have never experienced such a combination of incompetence and attitude in my life. Truly diabolical. Not even normal.

I had the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and the hot and sour soup. I've had better. The chicken was heavily breaded. The rice was good but didn't have any egg in it. It did have small chunks of pork in it. The hot and sour soup was good but missing the long Chinese mushrooms that I love. The restaurant is very tiny inside a shopping plaza. We asked to eat there. Gave a good tip. She said she'd bring it out but forgot to mark it eat in. We had to get up and get the drinks and the food ourselves and open everything like take out. Wouldn't tip again. We were never asked how it was or even checked on. If you're looking for an actual sit down restaurant, don't go here. There were lots of people waiting on takeout while we were there, so it must be a local favorite. The price wasn't bad. $25.00 for two people. But not for me.

Plenty of parking outside. Clean restaurant with lots of cool decor. The staff are amazing. Our waitress checked on as every few minutes to either clean the table or get us drink drinks. The food is amazing. Lots of different choices. My kids are very picky. They found a bunch of food they could eat. They have the regular buffet, sushi, bar, and hibachi. Lots of choices with the sushi and hibachi. I went up a few times to hibachi to try the different sauces with different meat options. Some great desserts and ice cream also. Prices for the buffet are affordable even for a big family. I will 1000% return when I'm back in Myrtle Beach.

For appetizers, My part of the party got the dumplings, and a crab rangoon. Both were very good and enjoyable. For Dinner, got the special on the back of the menu, where i ordered the Sesame Chicken with white rice and vegetable eggroll. Meal was delicious and filling. Even took home a to go container. Cost about 100.00 for our part of the bill. Paid with credit card, and left a cash tip. Womens restrooms were clean.
