Szechuan Chicken?? This held its shape right out of the container. Very weird.

Don't trust any menu you see online for this place. We looked at Yelp, their Facebook page, and even started an online order (abandoned because it was going to charge a $4.50 "service fee" -- and it was for pick-up, not delivery!!), and they all showed the same prices $1.25 for wonton soup, $8.25 for each entree and it said everything was served with white rice. Uh, no. When I called in the order, I learned that the rice was extra. Okay. This is California. I've learned in the 2.5 weeks since we moved here that everyone charges for rice. No brown rice here. That stinks, but again okay, not a deal breaker. The guy quotes me $17.00 over the phone. The math didn't add up, but figured he forgot to add in the rice. I'd square that up when I picked up my order. Uh, no. I get there and he says, "Oh. I forgot to add in one of your entrees. Your total is $27.00." What? How is $1.25+$8.25+$8.25+$2.00 $27.00?? Well, they charged me $5.75 for wonton soup (a large, which I didn't even see as an option online and did not want!!). I told them that every menu of theirs online showed $1.25 for soup. They said that was an old menu. ALL of them?? That's crap. False advertising!! So, I got a small soup and paid way too much $3.95 and feel like I got totally ripped off. Everything else tasted okay. Nothing great. This is the 3rd Chinese restaurant we've tried in Novato since moving here and is a very distant 3rd in the ranking. Celery in chicken with mixed vegetables? Ick. Still looking for a Chinese food place that can hold a candle to what we used to get in Columbus, Ohio. Who would have thought that Ohio could kick Cali's butt for Chinese?? Might be sad, but it's completely true. If the owners of this place ever travel to Columbus, they should stop by General Tso's on Godown Road. They know what's up!!

Fresh, ready made Chinese food !

The staff here is very friendly. There is a large assortment of ready made Chinese food for anyone who is in a hurry to get a quick bite to eat. The food is pretty good quality; the best Chinese fast food you can get in Novato. We usually order a large portion of chow mein and the won ton skins (without meat). The chow mein is pretty good and doesn't have a lot of onions in it. It is quite tasty and not too greasy. We usually purchase a quick lunch here at least twice a month. This place definitely beats Panda Express !

This is the bone

I would not leave a star if I did not have to. I ordered from here a few weeks ago. I found a giant bone in my food. It could have been from the following dishes: Garlic chicken Teriyaki chicken Black pepper chicken Someone seriously could have died. Shut this place down! Not to mention they are incredibly misogynistic!

Read the good and not so good review for China express but decided to give it a shot anyways because I was starving and really just wanted something to fill my stomach plus there were more good than bad reviews. I have to say I was not disappointed one bit! The food tasted good and was priced reasonably for the portion. Stomach satisfied mission accomplished !

Chow mein was good, but everything else was tasteless. Still, it's cheap and plentiful if you are in a hurry.

Do they use MSG in their cooking?

Most places use some but not enough to harm anyone. Flavor taste much better imo

While some of you followers of mine may wonder, "How on earth can you give a national fast-food…read morechain restaurant five stars"?!, well, it is simple - I can't imagine a better execution of their business model! If you know, you know, as the kids say. And this location knows! The welcoming young lady was amazing (sorry I did not catch her name), and the order was quickly and accurately taken even with a lot of people coming through - precision and control, while being friendly and courteous, in a situation that would have sent me to another job! Well done. The location was also very clean, again considering the large number of patrons. We almost couldn't get a table inside, but we lucked out. And the food was indeed fast, and fresh. We ordered some unique hamburgers to adjust for individual tastes, such as no cheese on this, no onions on that, add a bun-free burger (whatever that means! ), a couple of cheeseburgers animal style, some regular fries and one animal fries, and a couple of double-doubles (if my memory still holds!). Oh yeah, and some fountain drinks. Overall, a delicious meal enjoyed by all - and no leftovers! And that requires 5-stars for this review!

Few fast-food chains inspire the devotion that In-N-Out does, so I approached the Double-Double…read moreAnimal Style with high expectations. Unfortunately, the experience fell well short of the legend. The burger arrived on a noticeably dry bun that lacked the soft, fresh character needed to support the sandwich. While the beef was cooked adequately, it was surprisingly bland, offering little of the savory depth or charred richness that makes a great burger memorable. Even the Animal Style treatment couldn't fully compensate for the lack of flavor at the core of the burger. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the Animal Style fries. The combination of melted cheese, caramelized onions, and signature sauce delivered a satisfying indulgence--at least while hot. Once they began to cool, the texture deteriorated rapidly, becoming heavy and far less appealing. In the end, I found myself wondering what all the fuss was about. While In-N-Out has clearly earned a loyal following, this visit For me, it was a one-time experience rather than the beginning of a craving.

Wow fantastic! I am glad I Google Search fast food places…read morebesides the same old chicken place I been to on Novato and I found this cute name place a decided to give this place a try and boy I a glad I did! It was a slight detour from where I was but it was work the drive here as I found Rustic Bakery right next door that my friend told me about the had good pastries. On their website, They use 100% halal chicken, peanut oil, wheat and soy products. I ordered the Chicken Sandwich Combo which is The World Famous Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich and your choice of side. This restaurant is located around the bay area like Oakland, Walnut Creek, Sacramento & Hayward or our locations in Carmel Indiana & Indianapolis. I love the hip looking decor. Something everyone can be surprised with and makes a great conversation starter like aliens and I used to have toy like that growing up. lol good meal combo I got with mild chicken sandwich with fries and a drink was very enjoyable and I would be more than happy to come back to World Famous Hotboys. I was impressed and it was yummy in my tummy.

After talking with the person taking orders I went with the Chicken Sando with Medium+ heat and side of Mac & Cheese, Also got the Loaded Fries as well. Chicken Sando was nice and crispy and flavorful, sauce, coleslaw and pickle with the chicken was pefect combo. Next time I'll go up 1 heat level as I found the Medium+ wasn't warm enough for me. The side of Mac & Cheese was ok, I wish they had some hot sauce I could have added to it. The Loaded Fries were really good, the combo of the pickles, sauce, chicken, fries and coleslaw hit perfectly ! my only complain was for $15 I wish I would of gotten more for my money. Not that I dislike Dave's Hot Chicken but overall I preferred the chicken here over Dave's, would recommend this to anyone who likes Spicy Chicken.

Pick up times can be a hit or miss. There were times when I arrived per the estimated pick up time but still need to wait an extra 5-10 mins. The spicy chicken teriyaki is my favorite. It is surprisingly pretty spicy, which I love! The side of veggies help tone down the flavors. I've also tried the spicy tofu and it's pretty good as well. They make the tofu pretty crispy. I normally order a regular, which is more than enough for me. The large can definitely feed two people.

Today I decided to stop in to give Teriyaki Madness a try and was greeted by Rafaella (I hope I spelled that correctly) as I was browsing a handheld menu at the front counter. Rafaella clearly noticed I was lost and asked if it was my first time here and guided me through the menu. I ordered the large size bowl and chose beef and chicken teriyaki as my protein options, along with white rice and stir fry vegetables to go. I sat down and not even 4 minutes later, Rafaella brought me over my food and I was out the door. The total was $20.53 which isn't too bad considering I'm eating a fairly healthy meal. The taste and quality was great and I'll happily admit that I'd rather spend my money here over another large fast food franchise that does teriyaki bowls in the area. The foods great, tons of seating and there is a soft drink station for refills. I'll definitely be back.
