Excellent sushi!!!! If you are a sushi lover in need of your fix in the Delavan or Lake Geneva area this is the spot. We placed a large order for takeout and our needs were met and exceeded. Fish was fresh and everything was delicious. Will absolutely return!!!!

For the area and the price, wonderful! We had some great sushi and soup. Excited to give them a try and it didn't disappoint! Great tasting sushi compared to the options in the area, reasonably priced and great service. Walked away with no complaints!

Great upgrade with a great selection of sushi rolls to choose from. Service was great, no kids menu available if dinning in but server was kind enough to bring over some noodles. Overall a good experience and we will be back.

Food was tasty. Portions were great. Service could be better but I believe we just came in on the tail end of a large party...Give this restaurant a try!!!!

General Taos chick every crispy and tasty!

The food was awesome! Tasty crispy on the General Taos chicken and the Singapore Mei fun plate was very tasty. I would recommend this place for a stop to eat in. I've notice a very large oversize steam table for their lunch Buffett, I'm going to return and try it out as well when I'm in town. They don't use chopsticks for the set up, but you get to eat comfortably by being able to eat your meal with a fork.

Salmon special #7, seaweed salad, and shrimp & veggie tempura!

The lomein is amazing best I've ever had. The honey walnut shrimp are amazing too by far my favorite thing in the menu.

Great service and food as always. I like that they have dine-in, carry out, AND delivery services (even to outside of Delavan area).

Finally got good hot and sour soup. The places in Janesville serve gravy. Sushi was surprisingly good too.

Definitely a spot I was sleeping on, but not anymore…read more I'll admit, Hana Japanese Restaurant was completely off my radar for way too long, but now it's the only place I'll go for sushi. Once you find your spot, you find your spot. Fair warning: walking in for the first time, the place looks almost too small to be legit. But don't let that fool you. Most nights it picks up and you realize pretty quickly this spot is the real deal. The rolls here are just consistently good. I have yet to have a bad one, and at this point I've had enough to say that with confidence. Our table almost always orders the Diamond Roll (teriyaki steak on top, yes, really), and I have zero photos to prove it because it disappears within seconds of hitting the table. Every time. My personal go-to's are the Tomo and the 007 Roll, both of which I'll be ordering until further notice. I recently branched out and tried the Oceanside Roll, which was a really refreshing change of pace. Glad I stepped outside my comfort zone on that one. Service is solid. Nothing flashy, but they're polite, attentive, drinks stay filled, and in all my visits they've never once gotten an order wrong. Honestly, that consistency goes a long way. We also tried the crab rangoons. They're fine, decent, not mind-blowing, but the dipping sauce that comes with them is surprisingly spicy. A little unexpected, but it works in its own way. If you've been sleeping on Hana like I was, wake up.

We really enjoyed the sushi platter to go. Friendly service, food was great & ready as ordered…read more Small seating area right downtown Sun Prairie.

DO NOT GO HERE unless you're okay paying 2x what you would be willing to pay…read more Only went here bc we wanted to go to Asiana. I wanted to wait the 15-20min wait, my wife didn't. She found this place, I wanted to go to Sticky Rice. We however went here. And here I am a good $30 less in my wallet by going here over any other restaurant in Downtown Racine. No sushi for a Japanese restaurant. Gives you a good idea of whether anything is authentic. Mandatory 20% added to your bill for gratuity means you get awful service where all they do is take your order, drop it off, & fill your water with all ice. They have no incentive to provide good service since the gratuity is already added. Food selection is below average. Prices are what you'd expect in San Francisco but the food is quality of something half the price at a fast food place. Meals do come with Miso Soup (cup is half filled) & a half cup of salad drenched in dressing. $26 for Teriyaki Chicken & Fried Rice. $32 for Salmon Teriyaki & Fried Rice 80% of the menu for dinners are $32 or more. I have been to every place nearby & you can get two dinners for the price of one at Shogun. They have literally 8 waiters & waitresses so they're mostly just standing there doing nothing. Interior is cool but you're paying a premium for the people sitting at the grill area even if you aren't sitting there. The food was maybe just okay. They really skimp out on the chicken meals. Chicken was easily previously frozen chunks. Seems like other reviews are right that the establishment acts very bitter for anybody that doesn't order the $40 or higher meal. My wife got Salmon & I swear she got more Salmon than I got chicken. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Been to at least 15 Racine area restaurants & this is the only one I have gone to where it is really bad. It is a place that people want to act like high rollers go to but the food is poor.

I didn't get a good look at the interior because I was just picking up the food but there was plenty of parking and the individual I interacted with briefly was friendly and my order was accurate. I started with the gyoza. They were decent/average. I wasn't super blown away but they also weren't bad. I also ordered the Red Tonkatsu. It was kinda spicy which I wasn't mad about. The pork chasu had good flavor and texture. The noodles were a little thicker than I'm used to. The broth was heavy and rich. I've eaten a lot of ramen in KC and had several Ramen pop ups from Tokyo so I'm a little biased. This was definitely solid ramen but it wasn't the best I've ever had either. The price point is fairly cheap compared to KC prices so overall I was happy with my meal. I probably wouldn't seek it out if I'm back in the area, but if you live here, then definitely check it out because it was good and was a good value for the price.
