    Army Stew
    Vernon Van R.

Pocha Eats is definitely a hidden gem in Cerritos, especially if you are looking for a late-night spot. Parking is plentiful, but the area can be a bit dark, so it is best to park closer to the entrance if you can. The space itself is on the smaller side, but it has a fun vibe with K-pop music playing in the background, which adds to the overall experience. Service great. Friendly staff. We ordered the Army Stew with a side of steamed rice. The portion size was huge, definitely enough to share. It had a nice spicy kick, but it was still very tolerable and enjoyable. The flavors were rich and comforting. Overall, the food was delicious and the pricing felt reasonable for the portion size. This is a great spot if you are craving Korean comfort food late at night. We will definitely be coming back.

Biased already cuz of BLACKPINK on the walls and music choice was KPOP. Ordered Soy Garlic Wings and Bulgogi Tacos. Kinda questioned that the wings came out within 5 minutes but tasted good. The Bulgogi Tacos were good as well-not overcooked and the meat was flavorful and not chewy. Very filling with 4 tacos while in the picture it looked like 3. Love the variety of Korean food for those cravings. Will continue to support.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed Pocha eats, felt like a little hole in the wall spot! We were crazing bossam and this spot was the closest in proximity. The Bossam was good with all their extra fixings! I do prefer to eat mine with lettuce and garlic but they didn't have any. Corn cheese was unexpected in the best way, it had a healthy fixing of mozzarella cheese with bits of spam inside! And corn of course. Skewers weren't bad, could've done without. Service was absolutely excellent! We would definitely go back and try their other food

    Chicken and odaeng soup

Came here for lunch with some friends. I've seen this pop up on yelp, so was looking forward to trying it out. My friends kids really like Korean fried chicken and tteokbokki, so of course we ordered two kinds of KFC, regular tteokbokki, odang tang, dontakusu, bossam and ube cheesecake for dessert. The service was good and everything was made to order. The food itself however was lacking. The tteokbokki looked promising, but it was very under seasoned. Out of the two kfc flavors, one was too sour (I think it was supposed to be sweet and spicy, but it was sour). The other one was garlic butter(?) which was definitely tastier than the sour one. The salad that came with the chicken which the kids usually love at other spots, didn't want to eat it. I didn't try for myself, since the kids already said that was not good. The positive to the kfc situation was that the chicken was crispy. The odang tang was also underwhelming. I didn't try the donkatsu or bossam. Overall, service was great, but the food was not something I would go out of my way for especially for the price paid. But, the place was busy with a ton of take out orders, so there are people who really enjoy this place. It just wasn't for me.

    #3 Army Stew (Budae Jigae)

+ The Army Stew (#3 Budae Jigae) was delicious and plentiful. Wide variety of ingredients to make the experience interesting throughout the whole meal. Enough for 2 ppl unless you can eat a lot. + Polite, helpful staff. - I saw an employee drop a plastic bag on the ground, pick it up, place it back on the counter. Should toss it. + Ample parking. + Good amount of indoor seating. + Reasonably priced.

How long has this place been in my bookmarks? Well, it finally made it out of my bookmarks! Our daughter was craving Korean but not Korean BBQ. We were at LAX so thought - let's go towards Cerritos. Food was delish! Just as expected. Got the bento so I can try their sides and also got the corn cheese and ttaekboki/sausage appetizer. Service was great and we went a little after the lunch rush so it wasn't that busy. Will definitely come back. That corn cheese was bomb!

10/10 Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings - Loved the flavors of these wings. Yum! 10/10 Pocha Bossam (Pork Belly) - I cannot lie, this is one of the best pork bellies I have ever had and I am very picky when it comes to pork belly. I love when it is not super chewy and easy to eat. This one was perfectly soft and absolutely delicious. I cannot wait to get it again. Cost - Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings $15.95, Pocha Bossam (Pork Belly) $21.95 (everything is before tax and tip).

Came here on a Saturday afternoon. No wait time. We ordered the Bulgogi Yaki Udon. Everything about this dish was amazing. It not too heavy since they give you cabbage on the side. We also ordered the Beef bibimbap, the dish was ok. In my opinion it needed a little more flavor. The service was great and the atmosphere was very clean.

Delicious! Loved the pocha. Had it once or twice elsewhere, and this one was more flavorful, with perfect sauce, and without being overly fatty. Soba with perilla seed was a nice healthy-tasting complement to the pocha and kfc. The kfc was enjoyable as well. Restaurant was a clean, simple large room with fun street wall art. Parking lot is large, with plenty of parking since the nearby market is closed, so it is a little desolate. Still, there were enough cars around for the nearby shops. Service was standard. I plan to bring friends or family back :)

I was craving pork belly and wanted to go somewhere new. Glad to have found this place! Their Pocha bossam is pork belly with a soy glaze, even more delicious with the sides it is paired with! My group also ordered army stew and fried chicken to share. The food came out quickly and our server was attentive. Would come here again to try more foods!

This restaurant is right down the street from where we live, and for years we've been saying, "We have to try it." Well, this evening we finally decided to go--and OMG, 10 out of 10! The food was absolutely delicious! I had the bulgogi yaki udon, and my husband had the bulgogi stew and kimchi fried rice. Everything was very flavorful, and the portions were generous (we had plenty to take home). The server was friendly and made sure we felt well taken care of. This will definitely be a new favorite!

Interesting place. Braised beef was really tender. The budae jigae is a fairly big sized portion. It was a bit too spicy for me. It's not bad but I've had better at other places. I also got the rose tteokbokki. Not sure how this is different from the original. We finished it but took the sauce home. It was that good. Service was great. Place was clean. A place like this should have more traffic especially for Saturday evening.

This is a hole in the wall korean comfort spot in the Cerritos/Artesia area. I was first drawn in by their bossam and stews. So far, I've tried their pocha glazed pork, braised beef, army stew, rose tteokbokki, and 6pc honey garlic wings. The braised beef and pocha are honestly so good, especially with the sour sauce it comes with and the sides (radishes, green and raw onions). Service is nice and friendly. When I came in, they were playing Culinary Class wars on the tv, and the nice server let us change it to the episode we were on, so big shout out to her.

It is my first time here but saw yelp n just ordered what looked appetizing--Garlic Shrimp Egg Noodle (fried not noodle soup) The dish came with a soup on the side and the entree, which included 3 slices of pineapple probably to wash away the garlic after eating. The noodles were clumps together and tasted a bit raw/flour-y. That wasn't too bad, but would've liked it without that taste. The shrimp tasted ok...there were a good portion. The garlic...honestly this was something I didnt like as i knew this flavor...its either raw garlic that is passed due and has those clear parts and a bit sour or those preserved garlic in citeic acid, but tasted as if it were left out. Like a wet dish rag smell. I know this as i've used large bag of garlic from Costco that became this as I didnt use by the best buy or that it had fridge burns that cause the bruising and when I used it my dishes, it tasted lik this. This flavor ruined the dish and I didnt eat it all and took home thinking I can pick out the garlic pieces and just eat the rest. This took off 2 stars. Service was ok, altho I only ordered, food came, and asked for check, so didnt need much service. I added a Khrak Cambodian iced coffee at the end to take home... this was ok too. Just Cambo version of a Vietnamese Coffee. This here was a little darker coffee flavor I felt and less sugar (which is good for me). Im not sure I'll come back, not because of the food or rating, but because there are plenty of places to go for lunch and chose this place for today. Thank you.

I've tried most of their kimbaps [tuna, bulgogi, jinmi (spicy squid), cheese, kimchi, yuboo cho bab (fried tofu skin kimbap), Angel kimbap (keto)], and my top three are: bulgogi, tuna, jinmi. I absolutely love their spicy chewy noodles with vegetables (jjolmyun). It's not that spicy and packed with shredded cabbage, carrots, and cucumbers. So we ordered tteokbokki, Korean fried chicken mild and donkatsu. The food for the price felt mediocre and the portion of the tteokbokki was so small and the flavor wasn't really there imo. Also, the picture of the Korean fried chicken looked like it would be actual chicken thighs but what we got was more like orange chicken. Some parts were so hard my friends daughter had to bite those parts off. Definitely not worth $29 for some fried chicken nugget like chicken. The sauce was off too, never had Korean fried chicken that tasted like sweet cinnamon. The donkatsu was okay when compared to the other two, but it tasted over fried and dry. Service was also just okay. They weren't friendly but also not rude. They close at 8pm and we were still eating at 7:51pm and I felt like the workers were literally sitting there staring at us when it wasn't even 8 yet. So we just packed up and left.
